I'm probably a little biased as this is my first visit to this store and my usual Sainsbury's is huge by comparison. This store felt cramped and dark in atmosphere, the choice of goods was limited , particularly in the the friut and veg area. I did however get everything I needed. I really missed not having a barcode reader to carry around the store particlarly when I got to the self service check out area which was very cramped and it was difficult to scan and pack everything.

Quite a limited range for the size including quite common goods for example full sugar pop drinks are few if any. The security guards are over zealous following most anyone who approaches the alcohol isle. The staff are either very pleasant or particularly unfriendly.

This is my nearest big sainsburys. The car park is adequate for the size of the shop but can get quite congested at peak times. Most of the staff are friendly and efficient. The choice in products is reasonable and the pricing is cheaper than a sainsburys local store. This is ideal for me to do a top up shop but not for a monthly or big shop.

It's a smaller store (no men's clothing, but a small range for children and Ladies). Parking is a pain as people don't follow the one way system in some rows and there is not space for two cars to pass in those rows. Generally good range of items on sale. For a large range of more items the store in Arnold is about 3 times the size and sells petrol too

Had to sue for 25 mins so be warned. Download the "Super Market Check In" app from the Google play store or apple app store which tells you how long the que time is in minutes and this will allow you to time your visit so you're not waiting 25 mins in the cold and windy, rain like me! Apart from that it was good

I like this Sainsbury’s. It’s the closest Sainsbury’s to where I live. The selection of groceries are plentiful, but I wish they stock up more organic products and more variety of microwave meals. Will be ideal if they have a petrol station and a cafe also, but I guess they are limited in space. Also, this Sainsbury’s still require inserting coins to retrieve the trolley, the ones in Kimberly, Arnold, Castle Bridge Road, and many in Derby supermarkets don’t. They probably can’t trust the locals with free trolleys lol. Overall, will recommend for a quick shop!

Wouldn't have been necessary if it was possible to claim nectar points / rewards etc by submitting coupon codes online after a transaction using coupon codes, receipt numbers etc. I'm sure some retailers do this & if they can track your spending to target you with offers I'm sure they can hold the offers they've made for you to automatically take effect when you sweetie you're nectar card. A decent sized store, not what I would call a "mega" store, but ok for most weekly shops. Doesn't compare with aldi and lidl on the cheaper end of things, but it's still good, with quality stuff. Now has a small argos located within it.

Just your typical sainsbury's, it has a fresh bakery and fresh meats. it also Has a rotisserie. They have a small range of clothes and a small range of games and kitchen ware, Its located on a main road that *Mansfield road* has ample parking, soon there will be an in store argos.

I use Sainsbury's for my weekly shop. Fresh vegetables are always good not badly priced .Generally it's good to go to Sainsbury. However two weeks ago I had left my car in the car park went in to do my shop when I got back to my car there was a horrible scratch down the divers side. So upset I went to speak to security to see if I could see the CCTV only to be told that they only have the cameras viewing the entrance to the carpark because of the house across the road.....they cant be seen spying on the residents. Security pointed to the supervisor, her reply was'not my problem ' so be weary where you park your car . Thanks Sainsbury

Irritating as it seems to be less well stocked in comparison to other Sainsbury's. Always overpriced. We usually spend about £25 in ALDI and get 80% of the weekly shop done but are then forced to go to Sainsbury's and spend another £25 on the last few bits! Does the best cat litter though. Can't fault that.
