Prices obviously gone up since rebrand, as everyone’s aware. Choice still way more than an express so why it couldn’t have been simply rebranded to a ‘normal’ Tesco I don’t know, well I suppose I do! Obviously stock issues at the moment, but tend to go in for lunch and always a fairly reasonable selection for the meal deal at £3; so can’t really go wrong. Team that work on the self checkout have always been super friendly, have the patience of saints and are an amazing asset to the brand. There’s been some staff work in there a long time and it’s good to see them still there. No problems with the staff whatsoever.

Good selection and friendly staff, just a shame the prices have gone up. Stupid to call it an Express when it’s the size of a big store. I now get my shopping delivered instead as it’s cheaper to pay the delivery fee on top than it is to shop here

It's never been the prettiest Tesco in the country, but it is so convenient, and at large store prices too. Good staff, always busy but never too much of a wait at the tills, saves stopping somewhere else on the journey home.

Shelf stock not always kept up with very well and no diversity over time. Entrance is a carcrash sort of arrangement but the staff are good and the scans don't stop you too much

Has good selection of produce, although not as good as at larger superstores. Staff helpful in finding goods or advising if not stocked by them. No lengthy waiting at checkout

As someone who hates shopping at the best of times,this Tesco suits me down to the ground.they always have what I need,even the odd/unusual items I buy-even the superstores fall down on that little gem.Best time to shop-before 9am when the place is not full of kids/pramfaces/muppets/chimps....best avoided on Saturdays.

Quite busy, sometimes missing some goods on the end of the day. But it is usual with busy stores. I appreciate town centre location - convenient for someone who works in city centre.
