D. H.Very largeTesco supermarket trying to sell everything from food to clothes that could have been bought on the high street. Great idea in one sense but putting little shops, I feel, out of business. A lovely cafe for a quick drink or snack and very near to toilets. There is easy parking in a large carpark underneath the shopping area, with lifts and travelators travelling to all floors. At busy times the lifts are congested so be prepared for a wait. Staff are friendly and helpful
S. H.Had a fantastic experience at this store this week. It was busy as it was so close to Christmas, however every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help us. Was very refreshing and much appreciated!

S. L.So far, every time I've been here, its been a pleasant supply gathering experience. Sure, for a big store, they don't have everything, which was surprising. Plenty of food though, to choose from.
Staff seem nice and good service at the tills.
Convenient parking and plenty of spaces.
I must point out though, I've only been here about four times to date and my opinion may be different if I were a regular visitor. As an outsider, it was nice to stop here.

B. A.Well, a nice parking lot especially for families with children, but everything to be at the first floor is what was a bit annoying. The shop itself is a decent size and has a coffee corner if you want to take a rest, anything else just like any other bigger Tesco.

S. R.Wasn't a great experience on my last visit. A McDonald's being built in the car park with associated extra construction traffic. Within store some improvements to improve our shopping experience, eventually. Long queues at check out, products being relocated etc.
G. D.There's very little difference between one Tesco and another but this one is built over the car park which enables the local yoof to add an extra dimension to the exhaust noise!

R. B.Huge Tesco with a good selection of non-food items. The whole shop is upstairs, built on stilts over the car park so be prepared to hang onto your trolley if they magnetic brakes don't lock going down the travelator (a long fancy escalator with no steps). Watch out for the customer service staff who have had their smiles fitted on the wrong way, had some horrendous experiences with some.
B. J.Went shopping there this morning. Saturday before Mothering Sunday and it was heaving.
After completing the shop we went into the cafe for a coffee. Excellent service and snacks were good too.
Now for the bad bit of our Tesco's Long Eaton experience...wife wanted to use the ladies. Three cubicles were ther. Two in use and queue growing. Third was not fit to use. Almost full to overflowing and not flushing. Pretty disgusting sight. Wife ended up with waiting until she got home.
P. J.Other than a bizarre smell when entering via the front it’s a fine store which is massive. Staff are nice enough.
K. S.Weekly shopping place. Not a great idea to put a McDonald’s there though. Very busy around long Eaton because of this. I suppose chilwells traffic has improved.
R. D.It was a cold summers night back in 2012 the sun was setting and the air was getting crisp. In my haste I had left the house with only shorts and a t-shirt on as I had been lounging around in the day also did a spot of cleaning and fixed an old broken self in the garage which used to hold paint until it had given in. But it was back up and holding the paint once again! As I walked out of the garage I noticed the bird table didn’t have any food on it, so I thought to myself I’ll go for a walk to Tesco and pick some up on the way I saw Edith an old lady that lived down the street I said hi Edith and waved she said hi and waved back and I carried on with my Journey to Tesco’s for the birdseed. Upon arriving at Tesco’s I entered the escalators going up to the shopping level I had a browse done a few other aisles and then entered the pet aisle. I had a look at a few different types of birdseed for the bird table then decided on this particular brand. Happy with my choice I made my way to self checkout tills I scanned the birdseed then reached into my pocket to get my wallet which was not there! I had left it at home on the kitchen worktop so I had to leave the birdseed at Tesco’s walk home empty-handed needless to say the birds went hungry that night.
K.Like the fact that you still have the choice of a manned check out or self service here and there are more manned checkouts that self service ones. Self service checkouts are doing people out of jobs. Other supermarkets such as Asda and Sainsbury's seem to have more and more self service checkouts and long queues. Hopefully Tesco won't follow this.

They could do with controlling entry a bit better to manage overcrowding at peak times.

H.Out of all our local Tesco's longeaton is our favourite , the staff are always happy and ready to help you , in fact 2 separate members of staff this week have heard me saying to my husband "oh they've run out " and said they will go and check stock for me .
