Have been coming to the market now for couple of times and love the variety of shops and the fact that we are helping local farmers and businesses. Everybody is now wearing masks and have lots of hand sanitizers and queuing slots making social distancing to be possible. The only advice will be if we can have the market for a bit longer will be even better. I was also not sure if all the food offered have been gone through FSA since I saw some stalls with it and some without. Having more spaces for vegetable stall will be great since there are always a big que to buy vegetables. I also feel that it needs more advertisement since a lot of my peers did not know that it was happening every weekend. It will be great if there will be some coffee, tea, pickled goods and plants stalls to come more to these as well.

I've been a customer of this community-run & owned market for about 10 years now. It's not only where I do my shopping (veg, fruit, refills inc. nuts, pasta, rice, laundry detergent, cakes, sometimes arts and crafts) - either ethically sourced or where possible locally produced - but it's also where I meet friends, sit in the cafe and chat - and see kids grow from babies into toddlers, school kids and then teenagers and young adults. Absolutely fabulous and an essential part of my life!! (I'm also volunteering for it and a member :)
From a regular customer (2021): I would like to record just how valuable the Saturday market is and how much it means to me and I suspect to the many other regulars. I had been shopping regularly at it before the pandemic, but over these past horrible months it has been so very rewarding to build that sense of common purpose with the familiar persons in the queue and with the stall-holders.
I would also pay tribute to all you volunteers who organize it and without whom it would not continue. It has been by far the safest-feeling place to buy food in these past months and it is a tribute to you all that it is so well managed, but without the necessary restrictions appearing in any way obtrusive. Thank you to all the volunteers and to the stall-holders.

Just fantastic, everything you could want, delicious food to eat there or take away, some of the loveliest veggies I've ever eaten, all local, slightly varied each week, and a refill station with all the staples and loads more you bring your containers to to fill up and pay by weight. Perfect weekly shop!

This was a nice one hour program for a Saturday afternoon in Oxford. Walked a few minutes and got the outdoors part of the market. All the vendors are very kind and you can have several chats about gose eggs and different types of mushrooms and how they are grown, they all have an interesting piece of information to offer about the products they're selling. Fresh and locally grown produce. When you go into the building, the stalls are all selling food, ethnic food. And then you're in for a real treat. They will offer you a taste of the food, but all of them will offer, so you can walk out, completely satisfied. Really a must if you're visiting Oxford.

Great place to do loads of your weekly shop without stressing about the ethics of each purchase! Friendly stall holders and customers, delicious takeaway food and space for the kids to play outside. We've been going most weeks for the last 6 years. Worth a visit for locals or visitors.

Great place for covid-safe outdoor shopping. Stores selling freshly picked fruit and vegetables, cheese, milk, bread, juices and loads of cakes! The only wish is that it was bigger!

Great place to get all the lovely veg and fruit for Christmas. Friendly. Lots of healthy food, locally produced. No packaging. No plastic.
Hustle and bustle. Some queuing but a good place to catch up with friends as you queue.

Friendly and a great array of different foods, queues are quite long and pricing for some stalls isn't very upfront. Very family friendly and good weather protection.

This market always delivers something interesting. You can find it behind the Tesco car park on Cowley road. The selection of vendors varies week by week but you can look at the list on the website to make sure a specific seller is going to be there.

Great flowers and fresh produce, with friendly and knowledgeable sellers. I found the SESI refilling station very disappointing - terrible service and very overpriced.
