Reviews of Sainsbury's
D. P.
My favourite shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I am on first name terms with many and they take time to ask about you and your family.
If you remember shopping in the old days, you will certainly feel part of the experience here. The quality and pricing of the goods are simply perfect.
P. M.
Possibly the biggest supermarket I have ever been to. I'm sure there is bigger, but to me this store always seems big. It has a great selection of things and items to purchase. I would say it needs a little bit more thought/rearranging at the main entrance as it does seem a little bit too much going on for when one enters the store.
N. C.
As per normal in Sainsbury’s you can find everything you need under one roof. Quality is exceptional and prices is for everyone including Value range the cheapest price on the market. Personally my favourite grocery store in the UK. 5 plus stars
G. W.
I use this store mostly because I HAVE to. (because it's the nearest superstore to where I live). They recently upgraded their car park after many years of it being absolutely OK to use. Now it is much more precarious and inconvenient (and even substantially more dangerous to use.
It was MUCH BETTER the way it WAS!
What an absolute waste of money!!
One major gripe I have about this store is that their potatoes are often badly discoloured and blighted under the skins (where you can't see it until you start peeling them. Also, many stupidly SMALL potatoes are shoved into the bags to make up the weight. VERY BAD QUALITY CONTROL! They should crack down on their "greedy-for-profits" product supplying farmers about this!
S. C.
Helpful as usual, when I left the self serve area the alarm went off, she scanned the t-shirt I had brought. She said it only disables when going through the proper tills
M. D.
A pleasant place to shop. It has a good range of products. The staff are friendly. [Sept 2020] Still a nice shopping experience. I do like the personal greeting on the SmartShop scanner (I haven't tried the phone app). Note on Sunday they do open before 11am, certainly 10:30 and probably earlier, BUT you cannot checkout until 11am (I wasn't the only one not paying attention to this detail).
A.
I love this supermarket. I would give it five stars if the Timpsons could do dry clean orders faster than 3-4 days. Lovely people that work there though.
S. M.
Great selection, big wide shopping lanes, happy staff and beautifully clean. Great parking and a fuel station on site Excellent! Coffee was good too 😊
D. M.
Service was good but I was surprised how expensive everything was compared to my usual shop. I wouldn't recommend if you're on a budget.
C. B.
No problems at all we got everything we needed and more. Was a nice big store, good range of products. Staff all seemed nice and cheerful so can't complain at all.
Clean store.
b. h.
It's a good shop just don't like how the discontinued there large dogfood tins like people don't have big dogs like really 🙄 😑
R. P.
Excellent. One star lost because you've stopped doing cooked breakfasts in the Cafe. A retrograde step. Another star lost: Plus your deli counter is not operational. Pity your going down market with such cost cutting.
G. M.
Fuel is still not super expensive here so definitely worth a visit before its prices go up
P. B.
Sainsbury's Kidlington has introduced a new entry/exit roadway in the car park. I didn't like it. It seemed unnecessarily complicated.
The shop itself was"t busy and checking out was quick.
N. S.
Long been the go-to Sainsbury's in Oxford. Well stocked with friendly staff. Two problems though. The regular fire alarrm tests can really ruin your day and, if you're using the Smart Shop app with wifi off, only half the store has mobile coverage...
D.
The Staff are what put the S in Sainsburys
without them there'd be "lidle" point going there, you could say they "asd'a" right stuff.
F. S.
A large clothes department. Was very busy when I visited, the week before Christmas. There were a lot of staff working so the wait at the tills was bearable!
T. L.
Good very very bizzy (packed) but got the shopping done, just bits and bobs to get for Christmas now .
J. C.
Very limited supply of fruit and veg late at night. Also as hot weather room stick of ice or ice-cream. And no alternative milks. Little disappointing but usually there is plenty stock during the day. And nice variety of breads in GF section
L. D.
Our source of food and provisions during lockdown. Click and collect is brilliant and much preferred over the madness that is going on in the supermarket itself.
D. V. K. C.
Really a big store and have almost everything thing, including clothes and even Indian groceries :)
T. M.
Only going to Heyford Hill sainsbury because the Kidlington sainsbury has a new car park layout designed by Mr magoo so boycotting it.
b. k.
Standard Sainsburys, the Argos seems to stock a lot for an instore one and they serve quick
G. M.
Helpful staff, pleasant atmosphere. Bit pricy, compared to Aldi. But OK.
G. R.
It's a bit hit and miss, the manager is still holding on to the control he was given regarding Covid, so the entrance and exit are still segregated by barriers.
I. P.
The better of the two big Sainsbury's around Oxford. Better selection, generally tidier, but can be busy at peak times. Probably the best selection in Oxford of all the supermarkets.
K. W.
The welcome is great complete with masks for those who do not have and several stations at which to sanitize one's hands. The aisles are wide and convenient allowing for movement with ease. There are many tills allowing for quick exits. The labelling on shelves and above them is strategic and unmissable.
V. C.
Nice place to delivery.
Friendly staff and professional.
Helpful and funny in both ways.
C. T.
They had the sitens on and off yesterday which was very disturbing. What was going on?
M. A.
An unusual visit for us at this time on a Monday evening looking for gents shoes and a formal shirt. The shop was almost empty. We found the shirt but not the shoes we wanted.
K. H.
I'm in there often for food from the hot counter and shopping. Sometimes the quality of the meat isn't there but if you know when to go, you can pick out the best of everything.
J. “. B. H.
Very handy for late shoppers who ran out of milk !! Still busy at 21.45pm, suppose it's the xmas rush 😉
N. S.
You can find almost everything. Tu Clothing good quality. I only buy items that are on offer as it can be bit pricey otherwise.
I. K.
This particular branch of Sainsbury's has a better selection of Asian type products than most , which is good if that is your thing.
p. r.
Good selection, prices ok, great staff.
S. K.
Had a very nice time staff were very helpful so thank you very much and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR
M. C.
Excellent place to make shopping and take a nice coffee
J. H.
Always a good experience, pleasant staff and well stocked.
C. H.
I always likes Sainsbury's.
But I was surprised by some aisles which did not showed too much merchandise.
I guess because the long weekend
C. z.
free parking and had what I needed in stock so all good
C. P.
Well stocked shop, generally kept quite clean. I'd wish they'd keep the freezer area a bit more organised, but otherwise it's a nice shop.
P. M.
Always good for our weekly shop
A. R.
Nice place for shopping. Clean and cozy. Full of nice items and workers are very helpful. Cheap petrol station is a bliss! Highly recommended. :)
M. R.
Big Sainsbury's - helpful place to get homewares and clothes when other places are closed!
N. T.
Like all supermarkets, it's like spending time in purgatory. Only more expensive than others
C. W.
Always well stocked and plenty of check outs open
J. S.
Went in to get some school uniform bits. Able to get all but 1 of the bits I needed (don't have a huge range of colours of t-shirts in store at present - wrong time of year I guess). Easy to park, no queue, found what I needed etc. 👍
F. B.
This is a great location for all sorts of needs. There is a Specsavers and Argos in store, plus a pharmacy, Timpsons, clothing section and bakery. More than just a supermarket!
B. W.
Good service and plenty of car park space
a. h.
Great Sainsbury store, clothing range is great too. Has mens, womens, childrens, babies and school uniforms of a good variety of colours and sizes.
Fresh meat and fish (currently not open)
Fresh bakery, always smells great. Good range of foods, tinned, fresh and frozen. Has a good range of homewarea too. Also has a cafe upstairs, Argos located at the back of the store. Friendly staff, alsways happy to help when I've asked.
a. s.
Great shop. Everything in one sainsbury & argos & specsavers & pharmacy etc
J. M.
My favourite store, very big, great selection, self scanning, staff is always helpful. To avoid crowds, go on a weekday evening. Still plenty of fresh food and no people around!
D. H.
Very good few empty shelfs
P. C.
Great superstore, kind staff, great range
T. P.
Great supermarket. Lots of selection of items and staff are really good as well! There's also an Argos that's in the store as well, and a decent Home section.
S. H.
Plenty of help if needed and shelves always full. Most of the trolleys are now back to being locked I don't know if this is permanent yet.
M. S.
It was pretty good, you can find almost everything in one place.
R. C.
Went and got petrol all ok good job they was all doing at the petrol station
s. p.
Good quality food.polite and very helpful staff
M. T.
Lovely store, you can find everything you need it
R. W.
Large retail outlet well stocked with wide range of product (although unfortunately dvds and cds are no longer offered for sale). Access by car is convenient but pedestrians from the Hillside development have to take a long way round.
F. S.
Large clothes dept! There was a sale, bargains to be had.
V. S.
More variety of products, clothes, etc but less choices for vegans. Over all good place for 🛒.
M. M.
Massive store which is well worth visiting especially for shopping, kind and friendly staff
M. W.
Good sized supermarket, has everything you need. Be on the lookout for the guys that come and wash your car while you shop -- they do an excellent job for a fraction of what you'd pay at a retail carwash!
J. O.
The best shop plenty of parking space
d. d.
Good queue management and hand/trolley sanitiser supplies on hand. Generally good stocks, store not too crowded and checkout staff friendly and efficient. Still getting used to layout; changing from Tesco as their Clubcard system no longer supports Avios, which Nectar now does.
M. N.
Quick shop in and out in 20 minutes, and, and they had everything I wanted.
P. M.
Its a pleasure to do shopping here!
Plenty of choice and I really like the clothes section, always something on reduced prices for kids! 😉
P. C.
Slightly confusing layout to this store, but eventually found all I needed
L. C.
I think supermarkets are one of the wonders of the modern world with a large variety of food drinks and other things in one place at a reasonable price. This is a good example. While I'm not enjoying shopping as much with the queuing and social distancing this shop now seems to be back to having full shelves and most things I want.
e. g.
Not rely chopping often here. All what I can say the shop seems to be clean and well stock.
H.
Nice big Sainsburys with a decent homeware selection and large clothes section. Nice to have the Argos and pharmacy in there as well.
o. b.
Good place to shop I always go there
I. S.
I only visited the petrol station this trip. The price was competitive enough and the pumps were modern with self service option. Great for those familiar with technology. Less contact with people.
R. D.
Delivered on the 4th May. 1 item a main course had to be used by the 4th May. Most other meals had to be used within 5 or 6 days at most, even meals which were vacuum packed. Worst delivery so far.
C. P.
Lovely store well worth a visit
J. H.
Sainsburys have been a life saver over the shut down with covid. Not only a place for food, but clothes for all and a great pharmacy.
J. S.
Nice big shop. Layout isn't that logical so they lose a star.
A. T.
It's a big supermarket. It's got supermarket things inside. It lost a star for me today because rhubarb is in season but they didn't have any. Now what will I put in my yoghurt??
n. d.
Average Sainsburys - not particularly big and limited in terms of variety
M. W.
Had god sent today of name of Becky if I’am correct! (Hope I am if not I will find out and correct this) as muppet during being in a rush to Sainsbury’s I left my car with out the hand break on! And this little angel spotted it rolling and stopped it from rolling into a hedge and not only did that but waited there for me to finish my shopping whilst stoping it. She didn’t have to wait to stop the car from going into the hedge as I could see she only just finished working. This is why I like to go to heyford hill as it’s people in this place that go above and beyond for you! Always staff offering friendly welcome and good bye and there to help with finding products but this has just topped it for me to confirm how good of gem this Sainsbury’s really is. I will be saying thank you again when I next venture into the store.
J. R.
When new to the area, tried to order something from the Argos click and collect. Completely messed up the order. Staff member Liam helped me refund the item, and checked the store to ensure I still walked away with the product I needed. Excellent customer service
B. O.
It,s OK not too busy so getting round the store is fine, the smart shopping is great you can avoid the checkouts which is a good thing in this current situation.
D. S.
Well laid out store with plenty of choice. Good parking and disabled parking areas. Good having Argos pick up point in store as can save a trip to other side of town. Christmas out in force in store and plenty to choose from and would say something for everyone to fit most budgets. Clothing area is good and well laid out. Enjoyed the DVD and book area with some great finds there of some of older TV series and things and a good mix of music selection again some interesting finds there. In store pharmacy is useful and staff helpful there if needing advice. Getting back to food shopping is a good selection for all tastes and pockets.
G. C.
Clean cafe area, nice store.
B. P.
Good selection of products, for the most part not overly expensive
D. I. R.
Parking easy. Store aisles spacious. Lay out confusing and at times irrational. Large variety of products, not all food. Produce mixed but could select a reasonable selection. As expensive as Waitrose. Few offers. Too many products including home brands had Palm oil. Not environmentally friendly with far to many products including fresh products sold in plastic that cannot be recycled.
L. R.
It can't be worse than Tesco can it?
A. B.
As ever a good place to shop, especially if you only shop once a week.
M. T.
Nice but crowded place for shopping. No one care about face masks, hands higene
C. S. S.
Favourite super market for 5 years now. Has a good selection on foods, clothes for females, medicine, cleaning elements, and even keys stuff. Recommend to anyone who can get there. Normally cheap and very good quality if you know what to buy (basics is good enough most of the time). Love it.
J. S.
Veggie/Fruit section is good and so is the "foreign" section. Don't care much about the non food part
S. L.
Excellent supermarket.
Has lots of facilities in-store and around.
Quite large and spacious with selection worthy of the size of this supermarket.
Best in the city.
N.
Good facilities, and argos inside the branch as well as other places. Good selection of products. Helpful staff, seems well kept. Plenty of parking, there's also a petrol station with plenty of pumps, although it can get quite busy due to the lack of petrol stations around Oxford.
T. P.
Car parking is getting increasingly difficult. Needs more parent and child parking. Abingdon Tesco is better for parking.
D. P.
What an experience... as Sainsbury's stores goes this one is exceptional. I bought a sandwich and a banana for lunch. The service at the checkout was swift and my lunch tasted great. I didn't stop to check out the cafe or toilets but if they're anything like the rest of the store in sure they're first class. Well done Sainsbury's!
R. W.
Our place for shopping. Always clean, friendly staff, well stocked again now
M. R.
It was perfectly ok with talented & engaged staff clearly focusing like a laser on making life for the punter as easy as possible. Products were easy to access & pay for and the quality was impressive. Shame that they have to open on Boxing Day as the public can have an extra day off shopping & hard working employees deserve time with their families. Very cruel, selfish & hypocritical of senior management to tear people away from their families while being off that day themselves. But for that spiteful decision I would have given Sainsbury's 5 out of 5 rather than 3 out of 5.
A. M.
Very large store, there's not much you can't get here also has an argos inside which is very convenient
A. H.
Nice big store. Low on boys school clothes but I find that is the case in most places. Nice staff, good selection of food and other items.
C. B.
A perfectly adequate Sainsburys, in fact it's a large store so you will be able to get everything from just a sandwich for lunch up to a major shopping trip. Car park is sensibly laid out and you can also take advantage of the cheap petrol from the on site petrol station. I think their prices are reasonable as well for the general store. I forgot, they sell petrol as well on the attached service station.
H. B.
Went here to fill the car up, cheapest at the moment within the 120s whereas most seem to be about 131p a litre, not that 5 or 6 pence is a huge difference but a welcome one nonetheless
T. P.
This is a nice Sainsbury's, we especially love the seeded loaf they bake in store. They also have the vanilla flavour of branded yoghurt my wife loves. Tesco in Abingdon have stopped doing this one flavour, I even told the customer service team, but they ignored us. Big mistake, we don't go to Tesco every time we use Sainsbury's here as well.😊
S. T.
It's a nice supermarket overall but there are always items that can be out of stock. The item can be food but it can be things like Redhill or coca cola, which makes you wonder why is a superstore not full in these things?
C. H.
It's a very big store, probably more a superstore than supermarket, if that distinction makes sense. Big range on offer.
S. B.
Get all the essentials, well stocked up.
C. G.
Shelves well stocked. Would get 5 stars if there were less click and collect workers blocking some of the isles.
N. A.
Regular place 4 shopping and fuel. 5 stars. They have a lovely canteen upstairs that serves hot food.
Z. E. (.
We love the Sainsbury's Tinned Tuna Steak. Only downside is this store gets extremely busy at times.
J. M.
Supermarket! Nothing special here. They did have petrol though
s. r.
Good shop friendly staff
K. C.
Good place to do quick shopping, good quality products.
For better deals go elsewhere
j. h.
Great amount of choice and quality
O. T.
Has very good facilities a cafe that is open late, a petrol station and loos. The store is very well stocked with items and includes food stationary and some electricals. There's a fairly decent sized free car park. This is the biggest of the sainsburys in Cambridge withe possible exception of Eddington that's new and doesn't have a petrol station.
S. P.
Sainsburys is possibly the best supermarket out there. Their own brand products are fantastic and their taste the difference wine selection is amazing. The deli is always well stocked, the choice is vast, (sometimes too much) fresh flowers, cooking utensils, fresh food, fresh fruit and veg. All products are of high quality and if you have any doubts at all even if you return something a few days later the customer service is no excellent.
k. b.
To day went to Sainsbury argos . At 10.55 brought an item and the item was delivered at 8.00 pm . The staff in argos where excellent great service mr belcher
B. k.
Argos service is great in store
E. d.
Good supper Market evening inside
Y. L.
Always clean, loads of stock. Do wish some items such as Riga Gold were stocked though (consistent with any other Sainsbury's)
J. C.
Big! Clean! Well stocked! What you'd expect from a well kept supermarket.
It also houses a home-ware and clothing section, as well as a Timpsons and toilets. There's plenty of parking and the petrol price is one of the cheapest in Oxford (plenty of new pumps too).
P. I.
My first visit since February 2020..the place sure has changed...loads more clothes.
T.
I use this place all the time and have never had any issues. It’s well stocked decent deals, good butchers and bakery and good service. Recently I had one unfortunate situation where I was waiting to be served behind someone who had an issue with a gift card and had to wait about 10mins I was not happy about then being moved to another till and going back in he queue. On my way out I told the manager and he was so sorry and gave me a sizeable voucher to spend in store so even when things do go wrong they know how to correct it and retain my custom. Best supermarket in Oxford hands down.
S. A.
Has big shopping floor so you can find most items not available in other smaller stores. Always buy fuel anytime I'm here because its cheap but good quality.
J. D.
They sell stuff! Young one got bored though so dropped his stick and had a lie down.
C. B.
One of the larger sainsbury, so had loads of choice.
h. r.
Good for your basic groceries and the best fruit of all stores
C. B.
Seems to have lost its way. Still gaps on shelves, salad bar gone, sushi bar choice seems to be smaller with fewer staff. It is strange for them to have an in store Argos which sometimes sells things cheaper!
A. P.
Typical large supermarket with clothes section, cookware as well as a diverse extended range of groceries. Staff helpful and friendly. Shop clean, tidy and queues generally short if you time it right.
s. w.
Helpful staff and nice to shop in
G. L.
Good but Cafe not open , would have given it 5 stars if it was like the food
P. K.
Friendly staff, efficent Covid safety measures, wide range of goods, efficient self-checkout system, fair prices
K. R.
The young manager.Ginger beard smiley face. Helpful funny he knows what's he is doing. A real people person. The staff are friendly helpful have a laugh with. Non stressful environment.
D. B.
Brilliant big shop with everything you need. Has busy periods as do most, but I like this store
a. l.
Good access, good range of produce at prices comparable with other stores
C. A.
Large store with most of anything you would need. Dry cleaning very handy. Usually busy, but there is large car park with disability and family parking. Staff also helpful and polite.
E. S.
Nice shop very big with lots of space makes for a very comfortable experience also has a big range of things to buy. The biggest down point to the shop is the prices they are way too high even more expensive than Waitrose. Also staff and not the best and not very helpful.
J. M.
Good store but there's one security guard follows me around when I go in here... I like the store but he really makes me feel inferior. I'm a mature married woman and certainly not a thief. Kinda puts me off going in. Although I like the set up of the store
A. M. R.
This location is one of my favourites as it has a petrol station, a huge car park with a plenty of places dedicated for parents. It also has an in-store Argos. It is pretty massive inside which means, very likely, you will get all what you are looking for.
M. K. (.
A Large sainsbury's. It's also got a click and collect Argos operating in this store, clothes, kitchen utensils and crockery, homeware, food, bakery, pharmacy, a petrol station and also section for clothes and bottle and paper banks.
p. y.
I popped in to see if I like get some leggings and came out a half hour later with all kinds of things I've been meaning to purchase for a while mostly at sale prices! Very productive!
J. D.
Good selection of world foods, finest, wine and health foods as well as all the usual. Jessops, Pharmacist, Tu Clothing and Dry Cleaners in store. Maths and English top-up classes for kids and a cafe upstairs. Often gets in good/unusual flowers and plants. Good fruit and veg.
T. P.
This sainsbury's store is nice, it's a good size, well laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful!
L. G. X.
Very much diverse food...
R. N.
This store is huge!!! Everything you need. Groceries, clothes, electrical, even a argos at back. If you can't find it in the other shops I bet this place has it.
j. g.
They had no water in the cafe, so unable to have a cup of coffee. The ladies downstairs toilets were out of order. Food shop fine.
T. G.
I was really impressed with the layout of the store coupled with the extensive range of goods. However one struggled to find a member of staff to deal with my enquiries. Otherwise it was not a bad shopping experience.
M. B.
It was actually Argos l needed to buy something from. I had a lovely lady called Elfreda who helped me select a mobile phone for my mum to use. She was very patient and helpful,l wish there were more people like her around. Many thanks for your help.
D.
Decent enough supermarket.
j. a.
I like the quality of their fruits and vegetables. I find they stay fresh a little longer than fruits and vegetables that I buy elsewhere.
W. L.
Large supermarket with a wide variety of food choices
J. L.
Big store
Worth a visit
C. S.
Queued up on a hot day during COVID-19 and staff handing out water to customers waiting. A great store, great range of products and helpful staff.
M. M.
Easy parking, clean and efficient, with always friendly staff at checkout.
S. S.
Only popped in for 1 thing so not much to say.
J. S.
Not bad today.. Walked straight in... In and out.. Got the essentials... By the time we left there was a que quarter of the way around the car park.. 😱 We were lucky 🍀
J. W.
Great selection of products and reasonable prices. Thanks to all the staff for staying open in this difficult time.
J. S.
The store is a good size it has a home section, clothing and of course groceries. The cafe is good and I really enjoy the halloumi breakfast which tastes great.
V. W.
Always a good experience when shopping at Sainbury's especially now their restaurant is partially open.
V. B.
Very good. Well stocked and plenty of staff on shop floor, happy to help. Very impressive.
F. H.
We visited the restaurant at 2.30 pm to be told they had run out of fish, chips, chilli, lasagne and cottage pie, the coffee machine was also on the blink. At that point and with my son disappointed that he was not going to eat we thanked the staff and left. We went down stairs to the supermarket and bought the last fish and chip ready meal to Cook at home. My son said it was OK not the best ready meal he has has, our comment was the same for the last sweet and sour chicken. Not our best day shopping at Sainsbury but this is not our local happily.
J. R.
It's very conveniently located by the ring road. You can do the mid-week top up shopping on your way back from work. Also fill up petrol. Nice cafe and toilets makes it a perfect super store.
M. M.
Cafe was excellent, service excellent and food was good for the price.
k. r.
Great value and excellent quality good service and excellent staff
S. A.
Fruit section of usual high quality, i couldn't find a few items, which was a bit disappointing
J. K.
Very busy , but it was Saturday afternoon in the rain , during lock down ... but i will say the staff are amazing and so helpful...
V. V.
Nice and quiet shop, found everything we were after. Prices are reasonable. A typical British shopping experience.
N. L.
Good access with free car park... easy to find goods too.
B. W.
Well stocked variety of oriental and other countries food. Easy to find stock. Clothing department is good variety and includes all departments including men and babies.
D. A.
It's a big Sainsbury's with a friendly guy working on he Argos desk who felt the cost of their phone chargers were expensive.
C. B.
It's been a while since I've been here & was quite taken back at how run down the place is compared to a few years ago, it's in desperate need of an overhaul & the car park layout just does not work. A very basic supermarket.
D. A.
Great store, larger than your usual sainsburys. Reason why not 5 stars....... You still need a £1 coin for the trolleys.
M.
Nice variety of products, straightforward layout. Enough stuff during peek. With the addition of Argos you don't need anything else for a weekend shopping.
M. L.
Well stocked, large store with friendly and helpful staff.
V. N.

Some of the staff can be a bit rude and if you sit in your car waiting for someone they kept coming to check on u like I was doing something wrong makes you feel uncomfortable
S. S.
It was good experience as didn't need to wait too long in the queue and customers were offered
Antiseptic gel and most of the grocery items were available.
A. H.
Great little supermarket just where you need it to be I'm in uni and find myself going there regularly for lunch on top of that there is an amazing little café university the supermarket where you can grab a bite to eat and if you're early enough a great hot breakfast asides that it she usual tea and coffee that I can definitely vouch for

A. A. (.
Got some petrol and paid at the pump! Easy to get to but can get busy at times! Still though the fuel choices are excellent. Petrol or diesel you'll not be disappointed!
M. P.
Excellent place with disabled access a petrol station and cafe upstairs. It's a big supermarket with a wide range of choice compared to smaller ones in the city centre.
J. L.
Very busy on Saturday mornings - car park very full and queue at petrol station. Still got everything I needed and quickly through checkout so no complaints really!
J. W.
Huge sainsburys. Easy to access. All the food you could want. Also has clothing, household goods and electronics section.
R. G.
Haven't been to Sainsbury's in a while. Was good. Products seem to be good value. Bought a strimmer for £30. You can't beat that for value
G. T.
Lovely spacious shop with loads to choose from. Shame the tea in the restaurant is of such poor quality.
R. B.
I have been shopping here for couple of years now. I do like the place but I can never find anything in clothing section.
S. H.
Great Supermarket with trendy bargain clothes, gift ideas with great addition on Argos & Timpson shops within it. Also opens late til 11pm.

This is one massive place. How much this particular store has grown over the years is astonishing. Makes it hard to find things that one is looking for but the friendly staff are always there to help you.
E. B.
Friendly staff, still have time for a greeting even during these difficult times. Always ready to help throughout the store.

At the moment it's easy and stress free to get around.
until people get back to normal and use sainsburys as a day out for the kids.
C. M.
This is Sainsbury's main superstore our side of the city. It's where I go for a main shop. Rare to not find what you want or need. My favourite superstore

What's not to like about Sainsbury's.. Great choice, good prices

Well laid out store and helpful staff during a busy period

Just your standard big supermarket. In addition to the usual supermarket stuff it has home, AV, books and clothing sections. Petrol station attached to complex. Parking tight at peak times.

Doesn't bloody open on Sunday until 10:30 and even then you have to wait another half an hour for the tills to open. And there's staff everywhere at this time. Disgraceful.

Lots of choice, good friendly staff. They have lots of offers at reasonable prices and out of our local superstores we visit here the most.

Not much to say about a supermarket apart from great fuel prices, sometimes better than Tesco near the BMW plant
