A smart department store with Womenswear, Menswear, Children and Home as well as a foodhall serving various qualtiy supermarket goods. The food and clothes are of high quality with reasonable prices. They have recently updated their loyalty card (Sparks Card) where frequent users can get considerable offers and discounts off their shopping. Always worth popping in when in town.

Enjoyed a scone and a tea in M&S cafe - the best I've tried so far. All stuff nice and friendly, no "special attitude" for me not being English. Very busy place on weekends, however there wasn't any problem to find a free table (cleaned very promptly).

This is one of my favourite stores. It spans 3 levels in Queensgate and is accessible from 2 levels. It's a very well laid out store with a range of goods - including great food, groceries, produce etc., - on the ground floor. This is where I come to buy my coffee for my home filter machine. They've got a great range. I buy a lot of clothes from M&S (as does H) and the quality is excellent. I was in today to collect - after having ordered online - a sweater. Straight to the collection point at the rear of the food hall and - 30 seconds later - I had my package (and a smile from the lady who assisted me). The staff in this store are worth a mention. Apart from once - in many years - when H had a less-than-M&S experience (for which she received an apology via email), the service, professionalism and friendliness can't be beaten. This store comes highly recommended and is certainly worth a browse around.

Seemed like a nice, airy, spacious store. We were only paying through to go to the café, which we didn't stop at as we were looking for a little more than the snacks on offer there. The store had a food hall as will add a large clothing section on three floors accessed via a lift and escalators.

Shop and staff excellent. Café great. Best cup of tea from a supermarket ever but too small a cafe for the number of people wanting to enjoy on a Saturday lunchtime. It's uncomfortably busy.

First visit since lockdown, all ok plenty of places to sanitiser hands. Felt at ease. Shops only allowing certain numbers in at a time smaller shops only one or two people allowed. Did think more people should be wearing masks but hopefully that will change as from tomorrow. Not all shops open yet.

Good old M&S! Good choices of clothes but it does feel a bit cluttered as they have squeezed everything into the smaller shop after the move from Bridge Street. Women's clothes upstairs and food, kids, men's downstairs.

I had been trying for a number of weeks to purchase some colour changing gin, without success. After absolutely no help from the M&S website, I travelled to Peterborough. Once there I asked a young gentleman about the gin, his store didn't have any but he managed to source some from another store. This young man was Adam the store manager in the Qeensgate shopping centre, he was so helpful nothing was too much trouble... excellent customer service!!!

Great range of M&S products from clothing, shoes, underware, plus a great range of homeware and beauty. All great quality. If searching around the various departments is too much, then head to the M&S for some refreshment. Great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate plus a good selection of cold drinks. Hot toasties are recommended! Sandwiches also available.

Nice store, just like all the other M&S stores. Like to use the cafe here for lunch. The chicken and rice soup is lovely but the chilli beef and rice soup had no beef in it at all and was very disappointing. Overall the cafe is good and the food nice. 29/12/18 updated Asked for a jacket potatoe for my son today and was told "We do not have any left" Said OK, can I have fish and chips? Reply, "No we do not have any of them either" OK, how about a fish finger sandwick? "No sorry, we are only doing "toasties and soup" So much for the guessing game. Got soup in the end. After about 15 minutes, saw the staff bring out jacket potatoes. Not the end of the world but a bit annoying to say the least.

My wife felt faint in the Cafe in the Queensgate store, the staff were very concerned and sent for a first aider, two young ladies turned up and they were extremely helpful and even pushed my wife from the store to the Rail Station in a wheelchair which we are very grateful. We thank all the staff in the Cafe for their concern and in particular those two young ladies for their help they were Five star

Everything is always to M&S standards of course ... Fresh and delicious their bakery side is probably the best bakery in Peterborough so far no Starbucks or Costa muffin can compare to one from M&S especially for just a pound each!! Fresh bagels and loafs are also delicious!!! Place to shop if you like to spend your money well!!!!

Yesterday my partner and I attended this M&S in order to purchase a suit for an interview. Beryl from the menswear department was absolutely superb! She helped us size, match and accessorize the full suit and even made sure the fit was spot on. Absolutely amazing service, I would return for Beryl's advise in a heartbeat!

M&S slowly becoming less good. Toiletries no longer available in store, nor online (which a store assistant confidently told me they would be). Didn't have the belt size in stock of the type I wanted. Pointless to persue online as £50 minimum spend required. I was RIGHT THERE in store so I'll be damned if I'll pay for delivery. Real shame, real real shame. Looks like they'll just be selling food in future.

First time I went in here was yesterday, I asked a staff member where the ladies underwear section was, she seemed quite abrupt and rude, pointing saying you can't miss it at the back of the store. Staff need more customer training, good products available which was a positive!

Love marks and Spencer's good always have this was just a run in and grab a couple of bits sort of shop and was proberly the most disappointing trip round marks I've ever had.firstly it was lunchtime so logically headed for the sandwiches.there wasn't a awful lot left virtually nothing that appealed to me and certainly nothing in they're meal deal so then riddled of to the fresh baked bread thinking I could just make a roll when I got home ..again hardly anything...Well actually there was on the wheels behind the counter there was so many lovely baked goods but no one to ask for them so just picked up my empress grey tea bags hubbies raspberry jaffa cakes and some bribes (Percy pigs) for the little people paid left I'm still giving marks 4 stars though because this is the first time I've had this and I do love the quality of the food
