Reviews of Sainsbury's
R. r. l. n. b.
Brilliant friendly and very helpful staff make it a delight to shop there. A wide range of great quality food and beverages on offer. I love the hot counter and freshly made pizza areas.
Always a lovely experience to shop at, but I do miss the Coffee shop as does quite a few regular customers. Well worth a visit.
A. R.
Great organic meat and poultry - however, when I tried to look at the reduced items, the staff member adding to the range blocked the whole range despite the 5 people all stood trying to look, and then she had the audacity to look annoyed at us trying to look around her! Simply taking a step forward would have allowed us to look then buy what we wanted... does answer the question as to why there is so much reduced stock! Gotta love British manners - all stood patiently waiting for her to move!
J. D. T.
Lovely staff! Came in with my daughter who was a little grumpy for not having a nap. While I was sorting the shopping a lovely lady kept her entertained for me making payment and sorting food into the bag out a lot easier.
S. D.
Handy being around the corner but the problem seems to be that fruit, veg and meat go off really quickly iv had to return an item due to having live bacteria growing on the item. Some fresh items also seem they have been frozen before placing out on the shelves
P. M.
Great place to shop...love the Clothes section. If your vegetarian this place is the best so many varieties i was floored almost whole aisle dedicated to Veggies 🥰 personally my fave mushroom and spinach Kievs i almost cleared the freezer 😋
J. H.
Big store, re vamped while back. All you need. Tu clothing good. Toilets available. Sad to say Cafe closing. What's going on.? Big car park. Cash machines. Petrol Station on site. Bus stop just round corner. Disabled friendly & Covid aware
P. S.
One thing that I can say is that it is very expensive in comparison to Morrissons, Aldi and Asda! Will never do my grocery shopping there again. Nice enough store.
F. A.
Shopping there since 2020 and no issues so far other than beggars wondering around in the car parks with kids and asking for money. Had same guy on same day in Bretton asking for money with his family onboard.
K. M.
This is based on a supermarket rating system
1 lidl
2 waitrose
3 morrisons
4 aldi
5 sainsbury
6 tesco
7 asda
G. R.
Never get an issue here, do shopping, pay for it and go, if I need any help the staff are always there and willing to help.
K. B.
Did not have what I needed on this occasion.. The store seemed clean and tidy..
S. G.
Clean, pleasant staff. Fresh food to go.
S. H.
Not been here for a while but disappointed. Rolls from in store bakery were stale, and shop in general was not well stocked. Staff were pleasant.
G. S.
First experience of this Saintsbury store. Some confusion finding what I needed. Cash machine not working! Otherwise clean and helpful staff.
Henry Shaw.
M. A.
Crowded and bit high prices than aldi and lidl... But full shelfing with helpful and kind staff...
I. M.
Excellent social distancing no problem just need more manned checkouts for those of us with a phobia about self checkouts. Still needs more manned checkouts.
B. u.
Clothing section is very poor and shop is not organised convenient in order, but good location
A. K.
Plenty of parking a good bus stop close by that takes you to and from queens gate and a toilet inside you can use
B. E.
Clean tidy staff very friendly & helpful.
S. L. M.
Great option availability , caring helpful staff.
K.
Like this shop that's it :) one thing is frustrating me the parking spaces for parents with babies are always used by others without babies.
A. S.
Great range of products and decent prices. Only 2 checkouts open when I was ready to pay (9am) so it was a bit of a wait to get out.
S. K.
Morning shopping is nice and quiet.Still enjoy morning shopping
K. G.
A smaller Sainsburys 'super' store but has enough of a wide variety of goods for your regular main weekly or top-up shop. Also includes clothes and stationary. Has a small Argos on site too.
D. P.
A large modern supermarket , filling station, large car park , the shop itself is ultramodern with lots of space and a huge amount of ready meals , friendly staff, no till queuing and a large cafe serving hot meals ect, a pleasant shopping experience.
N. T.
Great store. Clean store with clear displays.Great staff. Always helpful. Wide selection of goods. Actively use recycled packaging as often as they can. Encourage fair trade. Great robust free from, vegetarian and vegan range. Clothing range is varied and they have expanded their men's and children range. Raise money regularly for the surrounding communities. Clean store. Well organised. Toilets are clean and disabled toilet is always clean too. Cafe does a great hot or cold drink selection to go with their snacks and meal menu. Lots of parking options and options for pedestrians and cyclists. Close to all other amenities.
J. W.
Nice sized store, plenty of stock ok the shelves and helpful staff. Fuel station on site means easy to pick up food shopping and fill your car whilst you're there.
F. C.
Con : It's a bit rudimentary but a basket of my general needs is more expensive than other places, I don't have a price compare app. It's behind the discounters by a good way.
Pro
There are a wide range of choices it has a pharmacy hairdresser and petrol station on site
V. J.
Found everything we needed. Love the fact that you can always buy your goat milk here!
C. C.
Holy site of my childhood. Gone so downhill the last time I came, still has quite a lot of things.
A. M. (. K. M.
Great for fuel when the prices are good. Large petrol station with Sainsbury. The Sainsbury's also has a large Chemist. So there are two things you can do here besides shopping for groceries.
L. I.
People seem to be more relaxed in some areas of the store. If you want a place that is strict on face masks - maybe go somewhere else. The store is well stocked. But I think the dates on produce could be better.
T. S.
Excellent very good treatment and friendly staff.Recomended.
P. V.
Its ok shop to shop not as good as Hampton tesco but its good enough for few things
J.
Good position, big car park. Plenty of meal deal choices !
W. B.
Not too busy, clean and tidy, always enjoy shopping there
P. H.
All good petrol priced fair 👍
P. O.
Fantastic choice of items to get value for money and helpful and friendly staff on hand to help
C. G.
Clean store but getting expensive compared to other supermarkets
A. G.
Spotless shop, quiet when visited, lovely member of staff helped us in the Meat section and gave us good information on choice of cut, check out quick and easy with smartshop scan and go app.
K. S.
Very nice supermarket highly recommend it
J. W.
Nice and quiet but not enough tills open
m. m.
Hi. All the shelves were full,of fresh veg &fruit. I really enjoyed my Sunday. It was amazing going round,to see everything nicely displayed. Good flow of
Customers. What I also noted how everyone was using the disinfectant to wipe the trolley down also hands,Good feeling.Maureen
V. C.
Best one in zone.
The best staff and professional service
F. b.
We were in store Friday 8th pm. I did my usual smart shop but when got to till to pay my shop wouldnt transfer, Steve tried to help but couldn't get it to work so Andrew came over and suddenly smart shop sent my shopping to device then wiped it off total £0.00.Andrew took us to another till and as an apology took money off our bill. Steve and Andrew were both kind, polite and pleasant, not my closest store but I will come again. Thank you
G. N.
Been my local supermarket for a good amount of years.
Have undergone a slight extension recently and added Argos counters in, however majority of the shop very outdated still.
Staff are a bit hit-and-miss: some are lovely, always greeting and having a little chat and some are very miserable, chatting between themselves and sighing when customer asks for help.
Special mention to the older gentleman wearing glasses that quite often works on self checkouts. Been working there for years and he’s always with a smile and warm heart to greet the customers. Everyone else should aspire to provide as good customer service as he does.
C. A. M.
As always, a great shop, prices, and quality.
M. T.
Sorry think Sainsbury's have lost the plot, this store always clean, but choices vary and now the cafeteria is closing soon, after the deli has already closed, only good for chemist and Argos click and collect, wake up and think about customers..,no wonder certain other supermarkets are increasingly getting more customers
M. G.
Great experience, very clean and distanced. Quick shop in and out, with no issues and nice friendly staff too 🤗
s.
Wasn't too busy, got what I needed. Hassle free experience.
C. W.
Only went to spend voucher to get 6p of fuel.
Fuel was a joke, they took nearly 20mins to sort out vouchers, discount etc.
In the end got £2.90 of fuel..... Wasn't worth the time going.
H. J.
100/10 in customer service whilst the world is going mad with diesel shortage. I’m an NHS worker that had to get from Peterborough to Birmingham in this madness to get to work with my 4 year old and they went above and beyond to make sure I got home okay. Clean and organised environment. Thank you Sainsbury’s. Especially thanks Mike 😊🙌
S. C.
Its okay if you have won the lottery a few people have if you ant to bad.
H. C.
Clean we'll set out store.
With clothes section , pharmacy and Argos click and collect in store
J. S.
Easy automated shopping very fast
M. m.
Staff always helpful. Stock display good some items cheaper than Tesco and Aldi
B. B.
Ok shop. But the Alarm goes off every time I buy a bottle of Amaretto 😄
J. C.
Store well stocked. Not busy
M.
Loads of choice, really good and cheap selection of kids clothing. Prices not too bad currently (12/3)
m. p.
Good place to shop and eat inside toilet disabled access perfect
D. C.
Went to get some clothes, but no more choice than the other Peterborough branch, so still nothing bought.
d. l.
Went in just for a meal deal today, love the new snacks you can have instead of crisps. Chicken satay was great. Well done Sainsbury's
D. R.
It was well organized, and I managed to find all the items I went there for. I noticed that they stocked a very good range of organic beef steak, including rump, ribeye and sirloin. The prices were very reasonable too. Will visit again.
B. P.
It's a Sainsbury's. It's not a rubbish one. What do ya reckon?
M. M. L.
Not been in a while, but it was a nice change to get some different meals
.
D. B.
Second time using the self scan app today.
I have to say its a lot quicker and easier than the regular way.
Just I feel a touch guilty 😕, as the result will mean less check out staff needed in the future.
Any one else ??
Z. H.
Huge selection, very friendly staff. There were a generous amount of disabled parking spaces, it's just a shame most of the cars using them didn't have blue badges.
M. M.
Went xmas eve and the shopping experience was good . Shelves were full and quick through the checkouts.
A. B.
Relaxing atmosphere, music could be a bit more inclusive. The ocasional banger is played though. So do give it a chance. Door staff are very polite, never had anh trouble getting in with trainers either. Looking forward to my next night out.
K. B.
I've just started doing click and collect and besides a few items not available, which is understandable, I have not had any problems. Easy to get a slot and no long waiting on arrival.
R. B.
Nice big store, well run and well stocked
C. T.
As far as Saisbury supermarkets go this is pretty good. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I normally get what I need from there.
There is plenty of parking and a petrol station on site. They are currently building an Argos collection site in the car park as well.
I. K.
Great store! Vast selection of grocery items, pharmacy, and cheap but good quality plain men's t-shirts
S. W.
I do my online shopping hear. Great delivery service x great customer care. The online shoppers are excellent with there picking of dates and substitutes. X
M. H.
Always a pleasure shopping here. Friendly staff and ease of access are top selling points.
A. H.
Good choice. Prices not bad
J. F.
It's ok but the security always follwes me about. I wouldn't mind but when its everytime it's a joke. There just letting the real shoplifters get away with it. Other then that it's a good shop and staff are helpful and friendly.
D.
Okay experience... Nice to see a reduction in mask wearing and a relative return to normality beginning
T. M.
Visited this store in Peterborough for clothes for a 6 month old baby boy and some dairy free yoghurt and one or two other items. Store was quite busy with midday shoppers and social distancing was being observed. Found all we needed, with the help of a member of staff. Store was tidy and well stocked. Would use the store again.
F. O.
New app for nectar is very useful and nice that Extra points are awarded. House wine is good quality. But some items are more expensive than in competitor's stores. Love double up events.
A. B.
Recent experience was ok, used scan and go, no issues thorough the store to checkout main issue was the lack of wheelchair trollies, my partner she had to have a basket on her knees to do the shopping into, would have brought more have we had the right trolley.
B. B. (.
Very grateful to the pharmacist. The staff in the store were polite and helpful. The store was clean and clear of empty packages. Good car parking. Easy access.
C. B.
Alaways nice to shop they x
S. N.
Shocking social distancing. 2 parents and loads of kids is that a reasonable amount of people per household? Couples, when there should be one person per household. Can't they control how many people are coming in? Seemed to have an open door policy today. People getting too close and no one way system. I didnt feel safe. Staff were polite and hardworking.
s. a.
Nicely stocked up and always freindly staff? very pleasant shopping experience..
C. C.
Good choice nice bacon
K. C.
Great customer service. I spent hours driving around almost every supermarket and small shop in peterborough looking for a bottle of Advocaat for my mum, which nobody seemed to have in stock. I managed to get a bottle at the Oxney road store but it wasn't just that they had it in stock, because there was none actually out on the shelf. It was the absolutely charming gentleman who was helping a young couple with choosing some drink and making recommendations that I asked if he could help incase I was missing it on the shelf. He told me he was sure there was one case that hadn't been "dressed in" yet and he went and got a bottle for me and tagged it so that I could buy it. A small gesture most would think but I really wanted to buy it for my mum and he did it with enthusiasm and a smile on his face instead of what has become a standard shop workers response of we only have what's out.
A. A.
It's a shop, what more can I say
C. M.
But pricy but good quality, you will definitely find what you need here. Very supportive to all community's.
T. S.
Good store with a nice layout. However cleanliness and modern-ness let this store down. Very outdated fixtures etc. Staff very friendly and good size.
S. S.
I dont really shop here anymore due to the lack of variety. I would still say i prefer their orange juice but thats all i go there for now. Asda has a bigger variety and for cheaper!
B. B.
I'm only giving a 4 star rating because they moved the shop around... again - why change something that is working?
The staff were very helpful (probably had lots of enquiries on product location!) The floor in store is always clean. I've used the café a few times and found the food reasonable - sometimes to salty on the cooked products...
As always, great parking. Good prices on their fuel. Toilets always clean when I've used them. And of course you get points.
C. R.
Nice store managed to get some leggings that they didn't have in either Spalding or Lynn
Great range of Halloween
d. p.
Wasn't over struck that Argos was right at the bottom of the store as you go in. Not a bad place though.
A. P.
Good supermarket, good prices but two things that annoyed me.
1) Very little staff in the shop to help when I couldn't find anything. When I found someone, who was manning the self checkout area, he said he didn't know and couldn't leave to help me...
2) Why is there no mobile phone signal in the shop? On seemingly any network? It's like a Faraday Cage in there, not good in case anyone needs to make or take a call!
A.
I'm giving 4 stars because the cashier didn't let me add my nectar points after I had paid. Probably my fault but really wouldn't have been that hard if she could have been bothered.
R. M.
We like to visit Mansfield Sainsbury for clothes at sale time. Jean got a bargain pair of shorts. Don’t go to often to Sainsbury Mansfield as entering/ exiting from Nottingham Road is awful. Daybrook sainsbury is best for fuel prices.
J. H.
Brilliant large size store. TU big selection. Two lots rest rooms. Cafe, good meal choices & childrens menu. Disabled friendly. Very large car park free. Cash machines available outside. Staff helpful.
N. X.
The lay out is fantastic and range of beautiful clothes. Went in the Cafe, what a let down my bigger breakfast was Luke warm and Daughter's jacket potato not cooked properly plus the grated cheese was stale. Not there normal standard.
E. R.
My favourite ❤ supermarket
Y. M.
The staff were very friendly, but some of the elderly people were blocking the Isle and pushing their way through, but it was lovely to be able get out
S. C.
Sainsbury's was good this morning but changing the position of the various groceries is beyond me, especially with dog and cat food taking a more prominent position. Perhaps the store manage is an animal lover!!
C. N.
Shop not to busy had all I wanted
s. k.
Excellent place to shop and eat friendly staff and also has a petrol station and Lloyds chemist
A.
Good selection of food compared to other supermarkets in the area with no international food sections
N. D.
This place is showing signs of age, in need of updating, fantastic staff 👏 smiles and laughs with customers brilliant service 👍
S. E.
Good choice of food and drink. Friendly staff, does what it says on the tin.
L. W.
Lovely clean store with lots of choices in food and non food. Good choice with mens, womens and childrens clothing. Good choice of small electrals for the kitchen and also televisions. In store pharmacy available. Food section well stocked and presented nicely. Good choice of fresh produce. Nice delicatesen, hot food counter and instore bakery. A really nice place to shop with great quality food and friendly staff. There is also a nice instore cafe. Definitely will return. Pricing not bad.
A. F.
Always very average. The stock was quite sparse on the ground and unfortunately their weren't enough staff on tills to help
R. R.
Good size sainsburys, the one way covid entrance was a bit annoying as went towards front door and had to walk to the right of it to get into store.... no path and with a young child we were walking in the road/car park as no footpath
R. “. S.
FOR THAT TIME OF DAY . IT WAS GOOD. GOT ALL THE MEAT AND VEG. NOTHING FANCY NOT TO BUSY
T. S.
Was a really nice day! I saw a lot vegetables, fruits and fungus. I was able to see too a lot animals, like lambs, chickens porks etc. They were all packed and cuted in pieces but anyway always good to see so mutch nature toghether in the same place!
l. p.
Reasonable middle of the road prices.
Wide range of hot and cold food.
You can have a pizza made at certain times of the day and cooked too.
Clothing ,toys and essentials available too.
Food court
Bakery that slice your chosen loaf and sell cakes.
Ample parking
Petrol station on other side of the car park.
D. M.
Easy to navigate & especially quick when using the smart pay as you go app💯👏you just pick your items, scan, pack in you bag & pay on the app on the way out no que's at all
C. G. M.
Everyone is requested to wear masks. So, the least the superstore could do is making sure there is sanitizer for the hands and the baskets. Couldn't find any.
M. K.
Petrol price cheaper than most Petrol stations 😊
A. R.
Has a good selection of clothes, household items and children's things. I like the sainsbury's quality and price and can usually get everything I need.
S. S.
Although I do think Sainsbury is getting expensive, the staff more than make up for it. Always helpful and friendly, never a problem to exchange anything. Sometimes they are short staffed, but we all need to take a break through out the day . Do think customers give the staff a hard time at times. It’s not their fault if they are short staffed.
L. A.
Good to buy presents for people and food. Clothing are really good quality and so are the shoes.
L. 7.
Nice food, not cheap but good quality, shame that most of the staff look depressed, and the security guards are busy playing on their phones to keep themselves busy.. I'm guessing it's due to the low crime rate....
T. H.
Short queue & fewer shoppers than anticipated. Pleasant exchange & assistance with a lady called Jo on self checkouts. Good experience.
L. M.
Fully stocked. Fast service. Clean store. Affordable. What's not to love.
P. A.
I drink black coffee with no sugar... on visit to cafe I had the worst coffee I have had in years. The rest of the store was very nice indeed.. but I recommend drinking anything other than the coffee.
A. O.
Came here to pick up a click&collect order - staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. All very quick and efficient, and all social distancing rules observed
S. K.
Great location ample car parking fuel and car wash and click and collect
T. H.
It's a good shop
S. K.
Great argos adition inside
k. S.
The entrance and exit to the store have been changed round you have to walk on the road as you did before. They need to put a light where the trolleys are stored it was before 6pm when I went and dark at the side beyond the cafe where the trolleys are.
D. J.
Clean, organized good selection but not too big
S. L.
It's okay, it's expensive though plus there freezers don't work properly and where there are problems it doesn't reflect in the price. All the fresh produce is amazing though that's what I stick to when I go. It's not the best store in Peterborough but it's definitely not the worst.
C.
Friendly and with the aldi price match in place its great!
S. R.
Nice selection of produce but only a choice of 2 non alcoholic ciders when a smaller sainsburys stocks more. But the staff are lovely and helpful and I can get most of what I need so it's all good ☺
J. R.
Expensive for even the simplest of things: 1 litre of choc flavoured milk is £1.80. Asda - £1 Tesco £1.10
R. B.
Good selection and deals some items pricey
p. m.
Easy free parking, good size store but doesn't always have everything in stock that I look for, good accessible cash machine's, also has a petrol station/car wash on site.
R. K.
Nice and clean place. Yet as you can expect quite expensive compared to other supermarkets
G. H.
It's a good Sainsbury's, staff are same faces all the time so people must like working there. Everyone is friendly. Sometimes a little slow to call to arms when the place gets rammed though.
l. t.
Fab team in the morning, shame about getting home on my day off to find I had the wrong coffee and with the worst sirup flavour vanilla I could of been given hate the stuff.....see you all Monday morning though
T. C. K.
Just managed to successfully use the new Sainsbury's Smart Shop app. This is Sainsbury's version of scan as you shop at other supermarkets like Waitrose and Tesco, except that it's on an app, rather than a handheld scanner. Use the app to scan your items and pop them straight in your bag. When ready to pay, go to the self checkout tills, scan the QR code on the till and pay as normal.
F. N.
As usual a great supermarket
J. H.
The only place you'll ever need to go for all your pet needs. They have everything! Staff are lovely and great fun.
T. A.
We live in Kings Lynn but had to pop into Peterborough to look at a car (total another story) and decided to go into Sainsbury's before going home. Disabled parking is available and close to the trollies unlike some stores but even better, the staff. I would like to thank everyone of them that I met on the 10-15 minutes of my trip around. From the young girl clearing up the broken baubles yet had time to help, the ladies on the bread counter for help and humour to the lady on the till. Thanks to all and Merry Christmas.
B. B.
Pretty big Sainsbury's with a wide range of products and more being added to the store all the time.
R. B.
Always a good experience. Covid rules are well managed. Shelves full of products and choice.
J. A.
Favourite sainsburys in Peterborough
I. B.
The best fresh bread in Peterborough supermarkets. This store has the most helpful staff one could hope to find especially Marie, Sue & Tim.
C. T.
Busy today in car park but tills only have one or two maximum so waiting is short.
Good selection of everyday things reduced in price. Recommended.
P.
A great place to shop in these difficult times - a lot of attention to detail to protect both staff and customers. Thank you.
J. H.
Always good to nip down the road if I can't find something elsewhere, abit expensive to be honest, but that's just Sainsbury's haha.
H. L.
Always shop at sainsburys Parnwell. Very disappointed with the hygiene area around trolley parks. Why do I have to get my trolley take it to a cleaning station around the entrance ? Sorry Sainsbury's this is not good enough during covid. And I've got to put a £1 coin in but Tesco's in March is a free trolley.. get it together soon !
H. I.
Great prices and an awesome clothing range. The café has caused me to repeat visits. However, if you are shopping at the café, just be prepared for the cold drinks to be out of stock.
s. k.
Clean, good selection of products. The staff are friendly
j. e.
Very good
a. t.
not too bad
I. L.
Provides a good range of vegetarian & vegan food. Prices seem quite high, but quality of all their food is high & the staff are fantastic
d. t.
Picked up all I wanted
C. R.
As the store is having a refit its v difficult to find all the items you need to buy in their usual place. With narrow aisles especially the milk one being one of the bussiest and congested. If having a refit why not get rid if some of the cloths. Cut down on every make of pizza, every make of a lot of things just until the end if the refit . I could nt get macains sunflower oil chips. Ony had the other ones with flour coated or added sugar. I had to buy a different brand at least they were gf. There was no 6 pints of semi skimmed milk. Got some 4 pints an extra 50p for extra plastic bottles. Then the asistant said the milk had come in so changed my 6, 4 pints to 4, 6 pints. If you are coming to do a quick shop please be aware it may take you a bit longer! Gf aisle not stocked up with wraps or thins! So had less choice. Parking good. Watch out for the large pot holes when comingvout or on the way to get petrol. Holes big enough to damage your car and tyres!!
A. B.
Usually shop at Bretton store Peterborough, it's nearest to me , I wanted a specific steam iron, staff didn't have a clue even about ur own website, said it's out of stock everywhere, ignored the advice and went to the Oxney Rd store, plenty of stock of my item," home steam iron, with stainless steel sole plate", Oxney one has experienced staff and well organised, thanks to staff x
M. R.
Member of staff was very slow to fix issues for other people using the self checkout because she was arguing and seeming to take enjoyment from not selling Redbull to two grown men who didn't have ID.
M. G.
Quite a good supermarket however, they don't sell Blue Monster Zero or sugar free energy drinks in 1ltr bottles.
Y.
my most local supermarket, which stocks pretty much all essentials . only i wish that they start selling pizza slices again at the hot food counter as they were really good.
G. B.
Just another Sainsbury's
M. S.

A. A.
Brilliant place to shop.. Only problem is the ques get a bit long other than that all good great selection of food
R. S.
Been here for years but still a good shop,
A. M. P.
Occasionally move stock locations in order to confuse me, otherwise excellent establishment :-)
G. M.
Ahh Sainsbury's.....the place where u can buy everything you'd get from asda/Tesco but pay double the price!
If your middle aged, mid to high class (probably own a few horses at the stables) then you'll be made to feel very welcomed at this establishment, however if your a "lower class" citizen and have no choice to shop there because it's the closest one in walking distance, then be expected to be blatantly followed by security guards on a daily basis! Regardless of the fact you go in there day to day and spend your hard earned money they still see you as a prime target for the most exciting part of there day......Playing secret agent hiding in the aisles! If you manage to spot one of these guards they always seem to turn to shopping and grab the most random item infront of them, then act like that's there lunch as they proceed to the till with there 2 pack of raw chicken breasts in hand, and immediately head back to there post by the main entrance with the produce vanished. Overall if ASDA was closer I'd walk there.

Ok store
L. H.
Great store, well organised, clean and tidy, friendly staff.
J. R.
It's ok but they didn't have my favourite cat litter

J. C.
Nice store plenty of parking cheapest petrol in Peterborough
J. W.
Very good service as always. I thought it would be very busy at lunch time but it was good and socially distance.
M.
Presentable place to shop. Clothes available and good food. Their bakery is nice a lot of the cakes are baked in store 😍
H. W.
Nipped in for some cheeses for Christmas. Reasonably relaxed shopping experience compared to "normal" Christmases!
P. R.
Love shopping here! One of my favourite supermarkets.
They stock a very wide range of all foods and drinks.
P. R.
Not the best sainsbury's we've been to but plenty of parking and conveniently just off the A1.
M. E.
It was really good.Very organised to be covid safe.Click and Collect is the best organised I have seen.Well done Sainsburys.
C. M.
Almost all you need hear even clothing at a reasonable price.
L. S.
Good stuff excellent service clean and sorted...
K. P.
Expensive but i can find there what i can't in any other shop. Quality is good as well comparing to cheaper markets.
P. K.
Oxney Road store has some of the politest staff within the sainsbury's business. They are willing to help with any request or queries that you have
A. M.
Easy parking and a store with very good choice.
V. B.
Not many on the tills today but other than that it's pretty good in here. Staff are always friendly and take their time with the older generations.
G. T.
Often quite busy, but there's always parking and the queues go down quite quickly...
R. B.
Went in for wrapping paper and bean sprouts had neither other than that it's a typical stressful supermarket
P.
OK apart from all the on line shopping pickers trolleys seemed to.be more pickers than actual.shoppers but OK apart from that .

A. K.
Could do better with product range availablity
S. F.
Disabled parking is usually good but due refurbished only half the spaces are available . Good covid policy in place.
J. F.
Full of people panic buying, it was/is ridulous.
All large supermarket chains should be policing how many items can be bought at any one time.
L. C. (.
Went in 10 mins ago, N 5 teenagers together buying sweets! Shop 1 person at a time? Not here
J. L.
The entrance to the car park is badly laid out so leaving can be a challenge. The store has a reasonable selection of the usual produce.
R. R.
Dated store and quite dark once inside. The shelves were quite empty at 3pm.
O. F.
A mean a sainsburys is a sainsburys its alright a little overpriced. Probably better off at Aldi or Lidl
H. S.
Still the same layout as it has always been don't really go there that much.
W. H.
Clean mega stocked store. Lovely experience. Thank you.
C. W.
Staff member was nice and helpful and he helped me get my shopping to my car
M. M.
Good time to go after 7pm hardly anyone in the shop 🙂
I. S.
Not bad. Very good bread.
P. J.
A normal monthly shop here is not feasible for me as they are quite expensive. I usually do a smaller shop. I struggle sometimes to find what I want but I do like shopping here. Please however, STOP changing the locations of food.
m. f.
Sainsbury's are very good quality overall, its the little things that bug you though.
Fairtrade Demarrera is no longer available in large packs and small packs cost more.
Penny pinching loses you customers.
For the first time in a long time I decided to buy a bottle of wine, but to my suprise my favoured type ( Fitou) only gave me one choice. No date when bottled and a screw cap indicating el cheapo plonk with a price to match. Hobson lost, I came away with no wine.
e. o.
Nice place to shop but some of they products is expensive
K. S.
Plenty of parking no crowding in store
J. G.

P. D.
I like most sainsburies but not when the staff are busy filling orders for click and collect etc. They don't move when I have to use my scooter and it is often hard to navigate around them

M. v. 1.
Never had a trouble can be deer sometimes
A. G.
Friendly helpful staff. Handy to have the petrol pump as well.
S. S.
never have any problems in this store but some of your staff need to have more training on how to speak to customers service and how they speak to other staff members
A. B. G.
Please remove the crowd control barriers when there is no queue or we'll have to rename you Sadesbury's.
R. K.
Tu clothing excellent quality. Very pleased with my purchases.
L. B.
Deceptive building its bigger than it looks, clean and tidy with plenty of stock.
A. K.
Currently (Feb 2018) going through refit so is a bit of a mess. Things aren't always in an obvious place and the shelves feel messy.
