Amazing cheese scones! We had a savory tea which was all locally sourced/made. We had coffee and they gave us an entire large caffatier. It was excellent. The food was on the sweetest little China plates. All nicely presented. The ladies were very friendly and lovely people. We sat in the outside gazebo. It was clean and sheltered. They had blankets and also books/toys. Very thoughtful. 10/10 would come here again and would definitely recommend.

I was in this village for a day as I was staying elsewhere for the night and needed to get some shopping in and as I didn't want to go to town I looked on Google maps and found this place, when I walked in I was gobsmacked as it contained all sorts of goodies, wine, beer, bacon, frozen chips and all other things that would save the locals from a trip into town, it also had little treats produced locally and you can even have a cup of tea there as well, but you must bear in mind it closes at 6pm, a true little gem in a village!

A local shop run by volunteers for the village, with enough to answer most requirements. This is not a supermarket so don't expect a massive range. Plenty to avoid going into town in most cases for simple stuff that you have run out of.

Had what I wanted. Limited stock due to size but saves a longer trip to larger shops which all stock the basics

Let's face it, it's nice to have a village shop, this shop is situated in the village community hall which makes good use of the premises. The shop is well stocked with essentials and would suffice any one local who didn't want to travel to town. The two gentlemen who staffed the shop were very pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely shop there again.
