Tired, but here we go again on Iceland. Usually buy online, but I am getting a bit fed up of receiving on the day use by items especially when it comes to fresh products and in particular when I ordered an item for the grandchildren, milky bar yoghurt type desert that expired the day before. It expired on the 7th, delivery this particular time was the 8th. Fact. Salad items that looked weaker than my 80 year old neighbour with worn out knees trying to run a marathon. (Just for the record, not that he will achieve any soon, we do look after and help him). Why order meat for snack for the following week, only to find on a Friday or Saturday delivery it has less life left than a goldfish won at a fairground. Complain you might say, I should, you may also say, just get a whole shop whilst popping in. Kinda defeats the idea of ordering online. Bulk buying for the cupboards and freezers. I haven't done a review on Iceland in a while (look for previous, if you so wish). Managers should advise, delivered orders are not a way of dumping food, before it literally needs to be dumped. Probably my last review before being banned. Reader, please do me a favour, hit the like if you have experienced similar and had to bin things rather than risk! I am brutally honest, but fair. The one thing I love about Iceland recently is their range of extreme chilli foods. I love hot spicy food. And I must admit I absolutely love the Caroline Reaper chilli chicken wings they do. NOT for the faint hearted. But they are bloody lovely. Mind you.... a word of warning. If you do eat them.... make sure your not going to work the next day. They ruin you the next day. I won't go into much detail as hot chilli lovers will know the consequences to eating very hot chilli based products.

I shop here quite regularly and lately have been quite disappointed with the quality and and they let you down on what you order as they do not have what you order on your list so half your shopping is missing because they don't have it in, but the delivery staff people are very good at their job they always bring it into my property

One of my favourite shops! Always has new yummy tempting foods, the only downside of that is that a few favourites of mine in the past have been discontinued. 🙁 They have a small but still pretty impressive range of household/cleaning products, pet food & alcohol too. Staff are helpful & I've never had to queue for long. They offer a same day home delivery service at the checkout if you buy a bit too much or want to carry on shopping in town after without carrying all your shopping. I bought some of their own range yesterday & was pleased to see it was palm oil free. On the whole I'm always pretty impressed with the store & their company values. 😊

This is another lovely grocery store where I enjoy going to get milk and eggs amongst other things. Everything is neatly arranged in small sections, so things are easy to find. They have got courteous and helpful staff too.

Great store, great staff and great people too always have a laugh with the mum's and various students walking the aisles and a great selection of foods. I strongly suggest you try the chicken balti pies and the southern fried gravy (if it's in stock) just like kfc gravy.

Exactly what you'd expect from Iceland really; the usual fare of frozen goods at low prices, some fresh fruit and veg, bottled drinks, crisps and snacks etc. The great value (although you often get what you pay for quality wise) frozen section is usually offset by average prices on other stuff, such as chocolates, soft drinks and such. Still, can't beat a ready meal or pizza for a quid and the frozen donner meat is awesome.
