Fantastic zero waste shop with all the essentials you could need and great customer service. My brother and I went here to stock up for his pre uni shop (was so close to his uni accomodation too) 100% recommend.

A lovely zero waste shop with very reasonable prices and a wide selection of dried goods, plus breads and cakes.

It's ok, quite pricey, but thet have a good range of items available. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the shop is light and open and has a lovely atmosphere. The washing-up liquid is probably 8 times the price of supermarket stuff, but it's good quality and cuts through grease as easily as Fairy. Their liquid hand soaps smell great and are reasonably good value for money. Things like their pasta, fresh bread and noodles are tasty. I don't like the taste of their museli as much as supermarket brands, but I'm not sure if that's due to the recipe they use or the way it's stored. Hopefully, as zero waste becomes a society issue rather then just a side issue the price of zero waste shopping will come down.

Love this place. Watched it grow and expand. Pretty much everything you need without the unnecessary packaging. You can shop guilt free and with great produce. Warm and friendly staff. When you really think about what you're getting, the prices are totally reasonable!!!

Great range of stock, not just dried food but teas, ground coffee, toiletries, children's toys, cleaning products, stationery, fresh bread, fresh plant milks, vegan cheese and the most wonderful cakes. Very helpful and friendly staff. If you've not tried zero waste shopping before, give it a go at Jar Plymouth.

We had such a wonderful first visit at Jar! They are doing a fantastic job with the shop, so organized and neat and everything is so thought through!! From the very easy to use and fast scales, to the different sized funnels, so useful! I was very impressed and from all the "fill your own" shops that I've visited, the Jar team is making everything work in the best way. Thank you so much for everything that you do and for working so hard to make and build a shop like Jar exist in Plymouth, we are blessed to have you guys.

Excellent plastic free store. Everything is great quality. Refills, cosmetics, cleaning stuff. Incredible bread and cookies. Brilliant plant milk, and lovely team. Just a great concept and wonderfully done.

Can't believe the range and quality of stock. They really allow you to shop ethically in an affordable way without sacrificing quality. The staff were lovely, so helpful.

Huge range of products, many of which are locally produced. Staff are friendly and really helpful Membership discounts for frequent shoppers bring the price for many products in line with Sainsbury's and other supermarkets for anyone concerned about cost of going zero waste. Vegetable boxes are extremely good value, the items in them last for ages and taste so much better than supermarket brought veg! An amazing little shop for those who enjoy cooking and are environmentally conscious.

Nice shop, friendly staff, selling a wide range of eco-wares and sustainable swaps. You can purchase bags or bring your own containers. Sells grains, sweets, spices, teas, eco cleaning/laundry detergents etc as well as plastic free homeware items etc.

What a delight it is to step into Jar. Lovely, friendly staff who are happy to help with anything and answer any questions. They have a fantastic range of products at affordable prices making reducing waste easy and fun. You can even make your own peanut butter, a favourite of mine, it's delicious!
