Good selection of clothing, particularly women's lingerie. Prices quite variable - for example two fairly similar styles of bra, one £20 the other £20 for 2! Last shopped here at the end of a long day and staff didn't remind me to scan sparks which was a little annoying as it's easy to forget without the physical card. Food is on the expensive side but generally good quality.

On Thursday the 30th june in the cafe , when a lady took ill. I went to assist her and my husband alerted the staff. She came round just before the first aider came to help . The first aider was very good and I left her to look after the lady. I would love know how the poorly lady is.

It's all good stuff, but extremely expensive - and more expensive that the higher quality warrants, too. Maybe I'm cheap (I probably am) but a pound or more for a fancy bag of crisps? It’s a really nice store but the gluten free range is too limited. Sainsburys, Tesco and Co-Op offer much better food for me so it is hard to find much to eat here. Please bring back the gluten free options you used to sell!!

Wouldn't normally bother writing a review for something as mundane as a shop, but this particular M&S deserves it massively. All the staff in the mens department were extremely helpful and friendly. I was looking to buy a suit but didn't really know what I was doing and everyone I spoke to were more than willing to help out. Never got their names but two women in particular, and one man (who I think runs that department) were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly knew what they were talking about. Lightyears ahead of Moss Bross!

The clothes may be a little more expensive than elsewhere but they are very well made and tend to outlast things bought from other retailers. The food, again, a little expensive but definitely worth the extra as I've not been disappointed with any of the products I've tried. It does tend to be fairly busy in here but there's normally quite a few staff around to help with questions or jump on a till if needed.

Just what I would expect from M&S. I wish more young people would take the opportunity to look at the men's wear range of casual clothes, super quality and honestly prices to suit most budgets. From the men's wear range my son, son in law and daughter have been so impressed they have looked and purchasing clothing from the larger shops and online. Once you've explored what's on offer why not visit the café for first class quality food and drinks just sit back relax and enjoy.

Nervously enquired about returning a 6 month old suit that had not worn very well and was offered a full cash refund or replacement without hesitation. I didn't have the receipt and was not expecting much. Exceeded expectations and have secured my business for all future suit purchases.

Good all round shopping for me, being a short in side leg I find that I can get trousers of the peg to fit. Cafe excellent though due to its popularity it does get very busy. Rest rooms available and parking is close by. Money exchange available as well so you can cater for all your holiday requirements in one stop.

Good variety of children's clothes. Could do with bigger children's changing rooms. One of the lifts was out of order, which is annoying as it delayed you going to other floors/getting out, I had to use the lift as I had a little one in a pram and my mobility is varied from day to day

In an ideal location right in the centre of town situated within drakes circus shopping centre.also a cafe upstairs where you can sit outside and another cafe near the entrance inside the shopping centre which sells mainly cakes but does have a small choice of light snacks.

The womens section seen to be more boring than ever this year. They need to have some decent designers. Food hall is alway busy although I think it's overpriced. The £10 meal deal is good value when the offer is on. The staff are helpful.

Being plus size with no confidence....and needing shapewear for a bridesmaid dress I was so anxious in approaching a member of staff for help and advice but thankfully Gill put me at ease and found exactly the right thing. Department store selling mens, ladies and children's fashions and footwear. Not the cheapest but generally good quality. If sizes are not available in-store they can usually be ordered. A reasonable sized food-hall is attached, selling fresh fruit and veg, meats and a large range of prepared meals. Own-brand beers, wines and spirits are available. There is also an in-house bakery. Near closing time food items nearing the sell-by may be sold at a good discount. There is a cafe in the store and an Espresso Bar outside. There is also a toilet provided for customers.

Staff here were very helpful and friendly. Personally I don’t like their fashion ranges much, but I guess that's down to personal preference, the quality of the clothing is good although a bit pricey. Their is also very good quality although again a bit pricey.

Totally surprised by the cost of the clothing, I really thought it was going to be expensive. The shop in plymouth mall, is spacious and very clean. It is wheelchair friendly and the walkway between the garment hangers is easy to manoeuvre with a scooter or chair.

In the past I have been very pleased with the food and service. However recently the food has not been great and the service has suffered, this may be due to lack of staff or more custom in the hot weather. If it goes back to how it was previously would have given five star. Please put the tables and chairs back and not low sofas as if you want to eat, it's not ideal.

I love Marks & Spencer but I have to say that the last couple of years I feel the clothing is rather old fashioned and in fabrics that are not so comfortable. I personally prefer natural fabrics which is more in demand currently. Please get back to more cutting edge. The old styles are not going to save the business - it used to be so great and I would love for it to re-emerge.

I found the staff very courteous and helpful and there was plenty of choice of the product I was shopping for.However I am baffled as to why bags are still plastic when they could be paper.But I love M&S and can't bare to think of Plymouth without the store.The first store in England to have changing rooms.!!.
