Car broke down New Years Day in the Petrol station. Waited 2 and a half hours but thanks to Jayne and the other staff working that day I left there thinking how nice people can be. Jayne got me a hot coffee and came to check on me a few times and it was really nice to be treated that way. Thanks Jayne and the other staff

Large selection of household items, food drink, cards, magazines (people still read these?), clothing (although beneton is no longer there 😭. Clothing is reasonably priced and better quality than primark ie, it lasts a wash. Stsff are generally ok. They won't smile or be very helpful but at least they don't sttand around talking. Right in front of you like they want you to snap... Custom service desk was incorporated into the cigarette stand so even though there was a memner of staff moving returned item's to the back eho clearly saw me, I had a good long wait for people buying tobacco and scrstch cards. Highly frustrating when this was on my lunch.

Been going here for a few years now and no change the staff can be very rude on the self service checkouts There not helpful atall.they seem to spend more time talking amonst themselves rather then actually helping people who are standing waiting for assistance you have to wave or call yo get there attention.an then when you do get there assistance there rude and obnoxious I remember going there with my mum one time and the manager basically turned back to another customer and started talking bad about my mum because she wanted to use the self service rather then the check out as it takes abit longer sometimes so she basically started talking bad about my mum to another customer and rolled her eyes all because we wanted to wait to use the self service I just though it was very rude especially as the staff manager you should be trying to set s good example discussing.

By car it takes about 5 or 10 Mins. If walking it nearly takes about 20 - 30 minutes. But it's a brilliant place to shop.

I visited this store but did not use the direct order/collect facility. The car park suggests the store was very busy but inside there was still plenty of space between customers. I came to buy some kid's clothing and was pleased with the choices available. The clothing department is a little tightly packed in areas and it's difficult to move a trolley around. My buys where value for money, I believe and fitted well. I also shopped in the food department, picking up a few basics and a few "Tesco Clubcard" deals. The store was clean and tidy, the staff where helpfull and so was the security guard on the day, who also answered a question for me. There are trolley wipes, spray and hand gel available at the entrance.

Huge Tesco Store selling just about everything from groceries, bakery items, fruit & veg, fresh & frozen meat, poultry, fish, newsagents, confectionery, toiletries/ cleaning products, stationery, garden/home & cookware, electricals, clothes, toys seasonal goods, pharmacy & Tesco garage /car wash. Tesco Club card allows customers further reductions off their bill just by scanning card. Recent purchase was reduced by £8 thanks to Tesco's Club card. Store has café on right hand side with toilets adjacent. Tesco also operate a grocery delivery service, where groceries ordered online then delivered to your home & a click & collect service, allowing customers to order online then arrange to collect from store. Staff always helpful.

I shop here once every 3-4 weeks for a 'big shop'. Staff are friendly and helpful, patient, too. Offers are thoughtfully chosen for seasons/key trading times. (Christmas items now starting to appear) sizeable area for optician, mobile phone, non food, technology, and OTC pharmacy items. Clothing and restaurants on upper floor. Recognised brands available and prices competitive, as well as Tesco branded products, which are commendable. Customers can choose how to pay; there are manned till points, self service checkpoints, small shop/manned points, and self scanning. Recommended.

It's okay, good variety, clothes good, but some things are very expensive. Like Uncle Ben's micro rice. Sometimes you pay 1.69 for every type, then they charge a pound for plain prices, and very occasional they are all a pound. My argument is they are all the same weight!

Good old tesco, got everything you need. Even free WiFi. I recently discovered the free WiFi. Was a marvel when I first discovered it. It helped pass the time when the misses dragged me round against my will. Now she knows I have it, it's worse. Before, she used to send me with a list because she knew I couldn't get signal, which was golden because I used to be in and out in a mater of minutes. Those times are gone. I now get a message every minute with an updated list. Every time I get close to the till she message's me with an extra item. Just what I want after a 12 hour shift. I love you Tesco. You do satisfy my needs, but please get rid of the WiFi!!!!

The most reasonable hypermarket

Generally a really good store, one of the largest in the area, but it's let down by a few little things. Firstly, the location can be an absolute nightmare to get in and out of when there any kind of busy period as the road outside is one of the worst bottlenecks in Plymouth. Secondly, although the mezene floor has a nice variety of high street outlets, but you can't pay for their merchandise anywhere accept their own till, not even the other Tesco till upstairs which feels like a really unnecessary inconvenience, especially seeing as it's not mentioned anywhere until you try paying in the wrong place. Thirdly, the toilets here at normally pretty bad, upstairs in particular. Today we tried using the upstairs toilets only to find a broken hand dryer (with no out of order sign), dirty toilets, a tap that was very stiff and had a flow speed that was way too high and consequently a wet floor. When we stopped to let customer services know (note, we weren't complaining, merely offering feedback) we were met with a very dismissive and frankly quite rude woman who kept finishing my wife's sentences in an effort to get rid of us and simply kept repeating that "we know, we can't do anything because we're waiting for an outside contractor". Fair enough, but it doesn't require the attitude to relay this information.

This was a good store before the coronavirus situation had hit the world but sadly these days the store seems to have gone down hill. I appreciate that the store is having to deal with the knock on effect on what's been happening in the world but unfortunately they have been finding it hard to keep the basics on the shelf. I'd visited two of the main stores in the city (Transit Way & Woolwell) to buy a bottle of Mixed Spice. Unfortunately both stores have no stocks with no further stock until 5th December. While walking through the store I have noticed that the store has many basic items out of stock without any further stock pending. I hope that whoever deals with reordering will soon be able to find new suppliers for the many sold out items. I will continue to shop at the Transit Way store as usual as the staff are always willing to help and happy to have a chat about life in general.

This is a great supermarket just outside of Derriford. There is a big car park, with disabled parking spaces and if course the main parking spaces. There is a Petrol station as you enter the car park, and a click and collect station in the middle of the car park. There is also estate agents and a bakery outside the shop. There is also a small little building where mobile phones can be fixed. Upstairs, there is more places to find things, such as video games, clothes, electronics and other things that you can use in your home and the sales section as well. Overall, this supermarket is clean, with a wide range of groceries and items to buy. It is just off the A386 road, which is useful for people who live in Tamerton Foliot, Southway and the southern part of Dartmoor.

We came in here after my brothers birthday party and done some normal shopping. I was 6 and a half at the time (I'm now 10) and started chewing on my glow stick. Suddenly, the end of it split open and all the chemicals went into my mouth. My tongue felt like it was on fire, my nan, auntie and 8 and a half year old cousin were quite worried because I also have Duschene Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This nurse knew I was in trouble so checked me over and my nan gave me some water, she checked my eyes (the nurse) and I was back to normal within minutes, I cannot remember her name but thank you so much whoever you were and I'm fine if you read this! Thank you so much Tesco and keep up the good work your so much better than my local supermarket in Estover (ASDA) and I appreciate the good work! By Zack Hayden, aged 10!
