This was my first time here, and it was so lovely! Well planned out, exceptional customer service, great products. The cafe was buzzing. The parking was easy. And I had a nice chat with one of the managers, Lucy, before I left. I am new to the area and am so happy that there is a beautiful Booths nearby.

Had a chicken and bacon toasty at lunch time today. Came with a bit of salad and was quite nice tasting but couldn't really find much chicken or bacon inside... Didn't shop today but it was a pleasure to be greeted by a very pleasant member of your team to ask if I needed a basket or trolley.

A regional supermarket showcasing regional produce. Not cheap . These are expert grocers, stocking the usual items you would expect to find and a vast range of other wonderful ingredients and products as well. They have managed to adapt and evolve during less financially stricken years and still have something to attract pound conscious customers. They know their stuff

Great greeter at the front of the queue loved his Cristmas waistcoat, shopping easy to find and not cheap not too expensive. Quick check out and just loved the cashiers snowdrop earrings. If you want a cheerful atmosphere and happy staff I suggest you go there.

Have used Both Longton and Hesketh Bank stores during lockdown. The shopping experience is second to none. Clean environment, friendly and helpful staff. The Cafe serves a good coffee and fresh food. Clean toilets, good access and ample parking all add to a good local shop.

Since the recent renovation and relocation of every single item in the shop coupled with the removal of self service checkouts, booths is not as calm as it was however it is still a wonderful place to shop if you are not in a rush. Don't be to relaxed though, parking is now limited to two hours, making a cafe visit after a shop for the fantastic afternoon tea a little more difficult

There is a great selection of food, and I do love the fact that Booth's stay committed to supporting local businesses and organisations, however I think taking breakfast items off the cafe menu was a mistake. Also the new ridiculous let's put sugar cubes next to the till, so every time you need sugar you feel like your disrupting somebody. Bring back breakfasts, teaspoons and at least put the sugar cubes on the table's if your worried about packaging!

Friendly staff, lovely food, today we picked up booths tartare sauce, no plastic in the packaging, well done booths!! We also got sausages and fish in our reusable plastic boxes, the staff are always do helpful. Booths even sell yogurts in glass pots, which we have found lots of uses for at home!! I have used booths for many years, but in my recent visit I have found the staff unknowable about the products I need. For example a young girl on the meat counter did not know what a rib of beef was. Fortunately my butcher did.

It has been completely revamped and looks more like a market stall set up on entry. Most of the original items are still to be found but it is confusing when things have been moved simply for the hell of it. The self service tills have been removed but they haven't added any staff to the other tills, so you can wait a long time to get served. Minimal newspapers available in cafe and again the service, although very friendly, can be very slow.

I visited Longton Booths supermarket today and it was a most enjoyable experience. First of all access and exit from the supermarket is good. There is a one way system in the car park which makes access and exit from the supermarket very easy and safe. There is ample car parking. Talking of safety it is important at this time of the Covid-19 crisis and Booths at Longton is very good in this respect. First of all you have to queue to get in maintaining the 6 foot apart rule. Markers are on the pavement outside of the store indicating the required distance. A trolley is given too you which has been washed with disinfectant and the handles are cleaned with disinfectant. The store operates a very sensible system of "one in one out".That is once someone leaves the store someone can go into the store. This means that the store does not get too crowded inside and helps maintain social distancing inside the store itself. As you enter the store there is a hand sanitiser dispenser which dispenses hand sanitiser for you to thoroughly clean your hands before you actually enter the store itself. I always use this facility. Inside the store there is plenty of room to move around in. The store is well stocked and is not over expensive. Once you have finished your shopping you have to queue for the tills again maintaining social distancing. This is easy to do as the "one in one out" policy means the store is not too busy inside. The tills again maintain social distancing. One till in two is open so that there is plenty of distance between the tills. The floors at the tills are marked out with social distancing markers. The till staff are protected by plastic screens from the shoppers. I feel very safe shopping at Booths supermarket in Longton and also at the Booths supermarket in Penwortham. I would recommend a visit to the Booths supermarket in Longton.

Great quality food, I always try and find something interesting to eat in the "sell through" area. Herrings in dill last time for just 32p! Lovely! Don't forget your free drink with your Booths card either.

It used to be a really friendly place to have a meal whether it be breakfast or lunch or even teatime, the older patrons loved it for its social ambience and its choice of food, since booths has decided it can no longer cater for the public in this way it has gone down in most people's estimation, very sad for what used to be a decent cafe.
