The best shop to buy south Asian foods to be specific south Indian foods. However, people from other places shop here. Their main attraction are seasonal grocery, fruits and vegetables. A variety of rice, lentil, spices, pickles, biscuits, dried fruits are available. They have a halal butchery back of the store which also sells variety of puja essentials too. They have Indian sweets. Bit weird but it's far far away home so Gods and goddesses must understand 😆. They have deep freezers full of frozen meat and foods. Looks slightly conjested because of foods and items everywhere. You may not find the price of some products or stuck somewhere else. The staffs are friendly and want to help but at times you may have to wait for some time to pay. Have a great shopping.

Wide variety of Indian groceries, almost everything is available in this shop though it's not a huge store. If buying rice, 10 kg bags are reasonably priced over 5kg ones. Open until 10pm. Friendly and very helpful staff. If you buy £35 and more excluding rice and aata, they do free home delivery. But couldn't find their website where to look at menu and order from.

Quite a good shop as the vegetables are always fresh and large variety. It's a bit compact inside the shop with not a lot of space to move around. Staff at the counter are always smiling and helpful which is a great bonus. Prices are good as well. There is also a similar shop next door on the right, will never go there. Bestfood supermarket is the better of the two by far. 👍👍👍

You can find pretty much every ingredient under the sun here! Great for stocking up on spices and dried legumes. They sell a huge selection of 'fresh' fruit and veg as well but it's not always in the best condition, although they often have fresh turmeric which isn't always easy to find :)

This is where I Buy ALL my greens. Staff are always friendly and they have a sence of humour :) I like the big pack of rice/ beans and they also do different fish (frozen) and a meat section in the back. I love the summer when the fruit are very tropical and watermelons big as houses. Jack fruit or mango smells all along Oxford road. Keep up the good work!

While it has a range of products specific to Indian and srilankan customers the organisation of products and cleanliness can be better. Space within the shop is limited and can get congested quiet easily making the experience not that great.

All south Indian grocery that you can think of. Right from fresh curry leaves to Jack fruit and fishes to banana leaves. They do specials deals on purchases above £35 and also free home deliveries. It also houses a fish monger and a halal butcher.

Positives: good selection of south Indian/tamil brands to shop- shakthi masala, aachi pickles, Annapurna rice bags. Lots of Indian vegetables, much freshly available than other Indian shops. This is the only place in Reading that sells Chennai's favourite Grand sweets brand savoury snacks like thattai, murukku, adhirasam. They also stock Jasmine, karumbu, manjal, banana leaf, vallaarai keerai etc that I found useful during Tamil festive days which Exotic doesnt have. Fresh meat and seafood counter inside the shop is handy. They sometimes do a promotion , free oil or onion bag for a spend of £50 Negatives: No dedicated parking , three spaces in the front of shop , it's difficult to find a space off-road in the nearby streets during weekends. The shop is quite tightly spaced inside, hence not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

Best place for the asian shopping. Vegitables, fish fresh and frozen, fresh halal chicken, beef and mutton available for retail and bulk sale. Lots of Indian Vegitables, variety of rice, fruits, sweets and snacks, spices available. Good convenient store, only problem is the parking. There is limited parking in front of the shop and nearby all parking spaces got limited timing.
