A. S.The name says it all! Tesco Extra (as in super size, super large choices for different purchasing powers) and situated just outside Reading city centre. Only criticism is the unevenly warmed up sauce, serving as the base for two freshly fried eggs (first items on their smaller English breakfast menu). Staff extremely polite & helpful however.
M. H.A great store with many bargains all around. That ambience is great and the staffs are very helpful and knowledgeable. The variety of product is vast and contemporary.
On 2nd Jan 2020 the Russell Hobs coffee maker on Amazon was selling for £28! Your store displayed the price of £45 of the same item! How can u compete like that? A more research is needed before you display the prices. I’m sure there’ll other items in need of review? Happy New Year!
P. K.Easy parking out of this very big Tesco. Good choice for delicatessen or more special products. It worth it to walk alongside the river by following the path behind Tesco.
K. W.Impressive and expansive store with more than just groceries. They have a variety of household items including towels, clothes, bathroom accessories and of course groceries. Their produce section is huge and well stocked. They also have free parking but sadly they have no cell phone reception in the store.
R. K.Has everything you expect. Only issue is fruit and veg not very long dated.
And selection of meats poor.
But as my gran would say "pop down to Tescos and grab a naggin of Vodders for me love"

D. N.One of my favourite supermarkets in Reading. Great variety of products. I particularly like the world food section with products from Asia, Caribbean and even Brazil. There is a Holland & Barrett inside, which is very convenient. Plenty of cashiers but it can get busy at times. Fresh fruits and veggies are good. The selection of wines could be better but it is not my priority at a supermarket.

L. M.Great staff and size of store, good range but not too big so isn't overwhelming. Signs are pretty clear. Online orders, click and collect as well as pharmacy, opticians and cafe available in store.
k. w.Helpful staff and a good variety of products. Everything you need. It offers food, drink, clothes, electrical home appliances, gaming and phones, an optician, a pharmacy and a new Holland and Barret section. It's also a good place for last minute gifts and has a range of cards. Would highly recommend this shop! Very good opening hours too.
A. M.This Tesco is very well stocked and maintained. A few years ago, I used to avoid it due to systematic long queues at the tills but it's no longer the case now. The house seems back in control. I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes.
There are always good deals and discounts on variety of products.
The only let down, is the customer service desk. The words they use the most are "I am afraid.
Also, £1 is needed to hire a trolley. That idea of hiring trolleys with coins started in the years 1980 and it continued like a pest. Nobody questioned it since while the world has changed a lot in the meantime. In my wallet I have 1 Visa, 1 Amex and my driving license. Haven't used cash for years. Sometimes I buy less because I can't get a trolley so I fill a basket with priority items and when it's too heavy and I pay and leave. Crazy that they prefer losing money rather than hiring someone to mind the trolleys.
M. A.Everything you need under one roof. Holland and Barrett is an added bonus. Normal stuff like pharmacy clothing Vision express is a given. Best thing is parking there’s loads and loads of parking available (3hrs maximum free)
All in all great place for your food and n good shopping
G. R.Called in today just for a few items never been to this store before we are from West Yorkshire and are down here on holiday. Just want to say a big thank you to the gentleman on Wines and Spirits he was so helpful and looked after me even carrying my bottles to checkout. The checkout girl was very kind and wanted to get me help to carry my purchases to my car it sounds like I am old and frail but I am neither of these.

S. M.Decent size version of Tesco which stocks a large amount of products (as you would expect of course!). There are toilets in store. The store is wheelchair accessible with wheelchair friendly parking. Stories kept clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

T. T. n. R.A typical Tesco Extra store but with staff who are obviously highly motivated and happy in their jobs in that the ones i meet always smile & most remember my name. Some new self serve tills have just been added. Petrol station one site and bottle and clothes bank, very large car park.

- helpful and friendly staff (never had a problem),
- more than enough checkouts + self checkout option,
- good deals,
- long opening times (24h, a little less on weekends),
- petrol station and car wash,
- online order + pick-up option (or delivery, whichever you prefer),
- huge parking lot with plenty of space (good location too).
CONS:
- gets really busy in the evenings and on the weekends,
- frequently run out of carts (or they are on the other side of the parking lot),
- frequently run out of veggies/fruits/bread towards late afternoon/evening.
A. K.Ques outside to get into the store are long but mover fast and once your in you can find most things your after as well as helpful staff, good place to shop overall.
B. N.Great big store and generally it has been a pleasure going here as a 1 stop shop.
Unfortunately when it came to buying school uniforms we were disappointed to find no blue shirts or grey trousers.
d. s.I visited tesco today and yesterday. Hav'nt done so for a while because i went to our local store morrison. I never realise how much i missed Tesco. It always have the things that i'm looking for and more not only for myself and my husband, but also for the gran kids. From a baby to the age of seventeen and more there is phones, clothes for grownups, and food for all. I rate you the highest Tesco. Keep up the good work. Denise Selwood.
M. P.Good range of Tesco products although not as extensive as some "Extra" stores, e.g. Slough. Fuel is best price around and plenty of pumps so never had to wait.

C. B.We arrived by boat but there are no spaces to moor it all seems to be taken up by permanent residents and as it's a 24 hour mooring this is disgusting. Apart from that the store is ok I wouldn't say it was brilliant.
S. J.Yo, what's wrong with this supermarket. In my opinion, it's not a supermarket any longer, it reached the next stage. You can buy everything you need in your everyday life there. But be careful: Don't go here to "quickly grab a few things". You won't be quick and a few things will be a whole week shopping.

S. B.nah some employee keeps putting the wrong food sticker on my RED GRAPES!! There have been a countless number of times I'll pick the red grapes to find a sticker, a poorly stuck on sticker I must say. The sticker reads bloody "yellow peppers". This is wack I blame Brexit
