Great little shop. Has a lot to offer but it is slightly pricey. For convieince however, it's very good. Always stop off here on the way to the beach in Llangennith.

Fresh bakery items were available with fresh tea or coffee making facilities. I initially came to collect a dpd parcel bit decided to grab a few things whilst there. When I got to the till I picked the hot tea and coffee on the belt to be rudely told by a female member of staff to take it off. Then when I said I need to collect a parcel she snapped "then you will have to stand by there". There wasnt any signs to say wheretocollectthe parcel so i didn't know. I found her tone very rude" There is a way of speaking to your customers this is not a good way of encouraging them back

Excellent shop good service plus a very good phone manner. I called earlier today to see if they had any fennel in stock. They went and checked before confirming they had some. Superb range of quality fresh ingredients both vegetables and meats. Nicely priced as well!

Love CK chia bread. Never miss an opportunity to get it. Also only place can reliably get piece of ham with a bone so can make roast dinner then pea and ham soup the following day. Penclawdd has many attractions and this is definitely one of them.

I'm finding myself more a regular than I expected at the bakery section in this store. It surprised me, but they have some of the nicest pies and pasties in Swansea in my opinion. And then... the overall selection in store. Wow. From fresh meat, to specialist "free from". Very impressive. And, all well priced.

Located on the main seafront road through Penclawdd, this shop is easy to find with a decent sized car park. The shop is large compared to most village stores and therefore, there is more variety and range of options in-store. It has a fresh bakery (breads, cakes, and pastries), a warm food section (breakfast rolls, burgers, snacks etc.), freshly prepared meats and fish (with interesting flavours added also), and hand made desserts in the chilled section. There is also an extra aisle of non-grocery / seasonal items like tents and camping equipment, outdoor play toys, kids toys, homeware, hardware / DIY, car bits, and small kitchen appliances. A lot more than you'd expect for a village store. It's mostly all reasonably priced, and the service is usually friendly. It also has a Post Office, and off the main store their are a couple of other small businesses.

Quick shop while on way to the Gower. Shop sells everything from milk to surfboards.all at normal prices. There's a cafe and a hairdresser branching off from inside the shop. Large carparking area and very friendly staff.

I absolutely love this store. They have the most magnificent cooked chickens - the best in Swansea. These are cooked so beautifully that they surpass by far the likes of Tesco, Morrison's etc whose chickens tragically leave a lot to be desired. The store exudes a lovely welcoming atmosphere and the staff are always warm and friendly. The store boasts a great array of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fresh meat. Their homemade bread is to die for and freezes very well. Try their homemade banana bread- it's gorgeous. It's only £ 1.25 and a lovely accompaniment with a cup of coffee (although the loaf I bought this morning has been devoured in its entirety by my 4 year old grandson - the rotter!). Being able to park right in front of the store is an added bonus plus having the post office which is in-house is very useful. It's an absolute gem!

It's ok, got everything you would need for basic shopping. There is also an opticians and watch repair ship in the store. This store could be improved by having the staff be more cheerful and actually seem as if they care about customers. Smiles might make their day better as well.

Penclawdd CK'S is amazing. Great prices and fresh food cooked daily. Lots of smaller shops inside. A fantastic Jewelers that sells quality gifts too.plus it does keycutting and watch straps.. There's an opticians there,barbers ,post office. Everything I need. Highley recommend this place. Staff are great there and very helpful.

My wife started squawking about wanting strawberries and natural yogurt. So I pulled into this supermarket, in the hope of satisfying her for five minutes. We were greeted by Gwyn Thomas and his wife, Dwywerdllgg. Her name is Welsh for paving slab. They treated us like family, we spent forty pounds. We could hardly get all of the strawberries into the car. On the way to Port Eynon, we hit a deep pot hole in the road, this huge bump turned the strawberries into puree. To say things turned messy, is an understatement. The puree stained our bodies red. On our first night out and about in Port Eynon, we were ambushed by cowboys, we now have to live on a reservation, where we have to spend our days making trinkets for the tourists. We don't blame the supermarket for all of our troubles. Will we return to CKs supermarket? Did John Wayne drink bubble bath? Much Love X

Sorry not happy with this place at all..the reduced goods especially the coleslaw ; milk , and cream or trifles are VILE the cream is sour and the staff are resident to change them.and act outrageous if we take items back that are off just a couple hours later ....no electric wheelchairs ...
