Took my 4 year old for lunch, all the staff were lovely and friendly, little one loved her pizza and was delighted, thank you for having us, and our hot chocolates for the walk home were so yummy!

Today (1/2/22) my husband and I went to the Opticians in the store without an appointment. As there was a space we were seen and we not purchased two pairs of glasses. Not only were the glasses amazing value for money but the service was fantastic!!!! We were both served by Becca who was brilliant. After many years of going to Specsavers it was the first time that I was helped with an expert explanation of what frame would suit me best for comfort. I really felt that the customer service was totally above and beyond. Becca really should get some colleague recognition because her care has meant that we will never go elsewhere in future and we have already told friends and family what value and service is available at the store. Shopping good but marked only 3 stars because of one of the staff.. his name is Michael.. not at all professional, don't know how he got a job. Not greeting customers when his serving them at the tills, we bought a few clothes, he didn't even bother to fold the clothes but was just pushing them to me, he did ask me if I want the hanger though... and that is it pretty much.. he didn't even say thank you at the end like everyone does at the end after serving the customers... not happy how I got treated

I rode my motorcycle there, parked where the bicycles go, granted yes it's not a cycle, but the motorcycle parking area has no barriers or rails to secure your bike too and the staffs response was and I quote 'you cant park it at the cycle area's, 'no ok perhaps we'll look into this', although the 'customer services' assistant did say but the car park hasn't got rails....yes, ok, but it's easier to pick up a motorbike in some instances than a car! It was someone down a telephone, I assume too jobsworth to come and speak to me. Oh and following on from other comments, considering it's a 'large' superstore, some of the shelfs are lacking which is a strange thing. I'm giving 3 stars because I'm feeling generous, not deserving. Below a picture of the motorcycle parking.

My nearest supermarket. Normally enjoy shopping here as has everything you could want. However, very surprised at the way we were treated when we shopped there very late at night about 22.00. Massive trolleys blocking practically every aisle while re-stocking which is to be expected but they could be placed a little more carefully to allow people to move around easily. Staff members were tutting at us as we tried to navigate our trolley around. Paying for our items was a total nightmare. Not one person on the till. So we had to scan through near on 100 items one by one and the scanner works in such a way that it takes about 10 secs to process before you can scan next item. Seriously not impressed. The next day I called the number to make a complaint to the store manager. The customer service number just cuts you off. So I called again and chose the option that was for staff. This then gets you through to customer service. I spoke to the deputy manager who didn’t really seem that bothered if I’m honest. Quite dismissive. However he did tell me to stop by and pick up a voucher. When I went to collect it, I was told he hasn’t written details of my call in the handover book so I had to explain over again what had happened. I got a £10 voucher by way of an apology. I think maybe more would have gone towards fixing our experience even £20. A genuine apology as well would have been welcomed. As key workers you can’t always shop at ‘normal’ times of the day. Not a way to make someone feel when they shop in your store.

haven't been here in ages. went there on Tuesday we managed to get everything that we wanted plus more. decided to visit the cafe .the lady who was serving food was very polite and curtious nothing was too much trouble for her .while we were waiting to be served a group of young adults with special needs had been in for food as they were leaving she called out good bye nice to see you all. the cashier on the check out was very efficient and we had paid and were out very quickly. look forward to returning soon

Great place to shop everything under one roof, I went on Friday about midday it was a little busy but it has a lot of varied items and plenty of them. Nothing I bought was restricted so let's hope it stays that way.

Visited Asda Walmart today and have to say, there was no ques! Which was an added bonus. Everyone wearing a mask and plenty of sanitiser at the entrance, I didn’t see any spray or wipes to clean the trolleys, only paper towels. Great shopping experience overall but was let down by many items being out of stock. The home department had literally been ransacked of cushions and throws, I guess everyone is redecorating their houses during lockdown!

They've got all the safety measures in place. The staff are still as friendly and helpful as they always have been. There is still a great range of products. People adhere to the 2metre rule. Will definitely go shopping there again.

Huge store, good parking, well stocked and well managed, competitively priced, and normally plenty of tills / self service, staff on hand to meet demand, which is normally high. It may take a while to get round it, however i much prefer this to the smaller stores. Good customer services, with easy returns process, Early morning, or later in the night you can be in and out in no time.

A large supermarket (apparently the largest in Europe). Always busy, on a retail park with other shops, large car park with Asda fuel station. Has a wide range of products and free parking, so is much more convenient than the High Street.

A grand day out. In these strange times it can be reassuring to have a familiar experience. You know where you are with this place. If the queue at Asda goes round the entire carpark you can always wander (social distancing) to the other retail outlets.

Shop is to big takes ages to walk around, if you only doing a weekly shop ok but if only popping in for a few bits don't bother you will spend more time looking for it.

I visited this store this afternoon with my son, Staff in the cafe - Rachel manager, Anna and kelly, were just amazing. I requested for my son's food to be weighed as he is a type 1 diabetic and helps to work out how many carbohydrates are in it. They were happy to take the time to weigh his food, so can't thank them enough.

I'm in there twice a week and generally like the store however my advice to everyone is always check your receipt. I occasionally find I have been charged for something I didn't buy but virtually every time I purchase an offer such as today, two cakes for £1.00, normally £0.75 each, I was charged £1.50 for the two so no discount. Very common for me so I then have to queue for my refund, very irritating. Whilst queuing I often wonder whether Asda are attempting to deliberately obtain money by deception perhaps they think a percentage of customer's won't check. Perhaps unsurprisingly it has never worked the other way, I have never been given anything to my knowledge. Also today they couldn't remove the security cap from a bottle of spirit, that is, no staff in the store was capable apparently, it was the last on the shelf so they lost a twenty pound sale... come on Asda, sort it out.

Great choice of food and the ready meals have really improved within the last year or so, however myself and other members of my family are finding it very hard to understand why they took such a good layout and have completely ruined it within the last few weeks? The layout seems to change every time I go in there and is getting worse and worse, don't "fix" what isn't broken, the store was perfect before the ridiculous layout change!

Like this adsa, you can get everything you need from clothes to food shopping to electricals.. Price's aren't bad and there's lots of variety. On the downside they don't have much teenage boys clothes ages 11+ and on certain days it is very busy and hectic

We shop regularly at Asda Haydon, lovely store .. staff are well presented but more importantly so friendly and exceptionally helpful. I would rate them on a par with John Lewis. This store has a heavy footfall because of the location but it is clean and usually well stocked.

In a town with a wide range of supermarkets, Asda at Swindon's Orbital offers a good experience, with helpful staff & all shopping requirements & expectations catered for. The organisation of the café/restaurant would perhaps benefit from a rethink. (We travel from North Worcestershire weekly to look after grandchildren).

It such a pain trekking over to Abbey Meads when most locals do all their shopping at the Orbital Centre. The PO have missed a trick there.
