Reviews of Co-op Food - Truro

Neat little shop in the city center, coping well with the Covid-19 restrictions. Have a remarkably good range of vegan options for such a small scale store. Perfect for that "pop in on the way home for something you've forgotten" moment!

Although, not known as a high end store, I find the quality of their products and the prices to be good.
Probably the largest food store on Truro High St.
Very good range of snacking foods if you are in a rush, pre-prepared fresh fruit and vegetables, sarnies, pies, bread, cakes, biscuits, chocolate, sweets.
Cooked and uncooked meats
Some vegan, gluten free, low sugar, low fat, celiac, beer/wine/spirits & tobacco.
And a lot more.
However, parking in Truro is all carparks, but the carparks, are situated only a few minutes walk away from the high st.

Co-op stores have always been great in the community, from their outstanding charity work and donations (none of which egally obligatory) to the way they treat their customers.
I would like to say a personal shout out to Helen, Jo and Dean that have all been there throughout this hideous unfolding and have made each and every night I've gone there to buy dinner a touch better.
I think everyone could do with expressing how much they appreciate the small things. And actually, it is only the small things that made a massive difference to this customers quality of life in otherwise complete isolation. I work in pharmacy/retail, and our recent circumstances inspire me to cite one of companies mantras "Prescribe Kindness", I think we can all give more, and I think we deserve to receive more in these allegedly "essential positions"

Easy to miss from the outside - there are fairly small entrances on both sides of the block - but very convenient if you’re on foot in the town centre. It’s surprisingly big and has a very wide selection of fresh and packaged foods, bakery and household items, both their own brand and the well-known brand names. There is often a fair trade option available and they’re also trying to cut down on unnecessary plastic. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the aisles are well marked.

A very good store.
From the outside this store looks tiny, but in fact it is a lot bigger than many Co-op stores. A bit "Tardis" like.
As you go in, the store stretches back and widens out and has an excellent range of stock and also a good choice of produce too.
It has a pleasant ambience and the aisles are a decent width.
There are plenty of self checkouts, and additionally if you join the right hand queue, there are staffed checkouts as well.
The entrance and store are all accessible and the door is automatic.
The staff I spoke to were cheerful and helpful.

Great place to shop - all the staff are very friendly and helpful! After the refit, going on right now, things will be back to normal, and our Coop will be even better - another 4 weeks or so till then.....

Great for a snack and lunch grab before work or a top up shop. The app gives you handy discounts. Always nice produce.

The shop is great but the staff are very rude and unhelpful and it has put me off from visiting again I would not recommend this shop I can't understand why the staff are like this because the co op in threemilestone is far superior and they have happier staff and are more friendly and helpful.
