A great place to spend a Saturday when it's sunny. A large and varied selection of restaurants and food stalls. Everyone finds something to eat that they like. The Japanese restaurant was very busy and there was no free place to sit. I loved the small thrift stores. On Saturdays there is also a small farmers market in the High Street.

Always something interesting there- from variety of food to selling vegetables and fruit to handmade bread, candles, clothes. People are always kind to you and thankful. I tried their pizza, handmade cakes and their chicken wraps. Really tasty. Keep it up 👍

I've been coming to Watford market since the late 1970s. It used to be indoors with dozens of stalls selling food, household items, clothes, all sorts. Over the years it shrunk a bit, but was always nice to visit. Then the building was demolished to be redeveloped and the market moved outdoors. It's still going and is good if there's a stall selling the items you need. There's a lovely butcher, a couple of fruit & veg stalls and a selection of excellent food outlets. I'd say, come and have a look, if it's your kind of experience you'll be back, if not you won't. It's as simple as that. I'll always love it, market traders are my kind of people, genuine and honest.

Used to go fairly regularly, haven’t been back for a while. Usual town market, fruit and veg, tobacco related products, some textile stalls, candles and what look to be fake perfumes/aftershave. Still going strong I understand.

The market is really very good, so many things to try out. The location is fantastic and the food is not too expensive, being a vegetarian I didn't try all of the stuff but for others I think they will enjoy it. The only problem is so many things in a very small space.

A place for local SMBs to display their hard work. Lots of choices. From Tuesday to Saturday, the market brings life to the Watford high street. Unique cuisines served, plethora of new pop-ups showcase their products. The best part is that you can buy fresh farm produce.

A bit of a letdown compared to the old market. The quality is there but the stalls inside are too congested and don't have enough variety. The stalls outside are better. We always use the fish stall as it always has fresh seasonal seafood; we especially love their shellfish.

Five star service for the the friendly stool holders, from fishmongers to vape stools, the location of the new market isn't ideal and due to its location is quite cold, even on a warm day, so wrap up before you leave. The council could do more to improve it and make it more welcoming to the public. 🌬️

The traders are a great and friendly bunch but I only give 3 stars because the council or whoever owns the market spend next to nothing on improving it, on advertising it and generally fail to see what potential there is here. Special mention for 'Sweets For All'. The proprietor is an old fashioned shopkeeper for whom nothing is too much trouble and his stock is truly astounding! To be fair to the other traders I have only witnessed excellent customer service.

There's always little changes and although the lady who used to sell trini doubles has gone and Michael who did the fabrics has also gone, this place is great for the food stalls and some of the more unusual shops. Long may it continue and it needs more local support.

So sorry to say that this market although the traders are excellent does not get as much of my business as before- with no direct link to a car park it affects when and how one visits -a real shame as the retirement schemes have also stopped using it too- Now we see the real motive as the old space is being taken over by Debenhams. Markets are the heart and some of a comity connecting people with each other. It's a pity this has been eroded. If you do go the fishmongers is excellent as is the Sushi Place at the top

Went into market to get new battery for watch, lots of little stalls inside and quite a few out on the maine parade, offering a range of services from Fashion, Mobile Repair, Carpets, Fresh Fish 🐠 which is an excellent stall, Fruit and vegetables, lots of different food stalls as well.. Bargains for everyone ☺

Was much better before Watford council kicked them out of charter place. Now its half assed shorditch boxpark style shipping containers in the outside. Traders are excellent (assuming there’s any left). Most have moved to the high street.
