Reviews of Asda Woking Sheerwater Superstore
J. L.
5 stars - great customer service!
All that you need with wonderful tasting mincepies! The mincepies with the dusted icing sugar on top are simply the best, better than all the rest.

Very friendly staff. Most times stock is always available. Very reasonable prices for school uniforms also.
L. S.
Nice big supermarket with lots of choice. There's a small home and clothes section too

This is a great addition to the Supermarkets and fuel stations in the Woking area. I like the "Drive Thru" style fuel station that's open 24 hours a day - unlike most fuel stations that are attached to supermarkets.
The supermarket itself is spacious and has everything you'd expect from from a shop of this size - hot counter, homeware etc.

It's ok medium sized store get most things I need . Always easy to park never seems to be too busy.
M. L.
I shop there every week and i hardly ever have any complaints. Most of the people who work there are nice and helpful.

Usual Asda, nice sized, good clothes selection.

Thank you so so much to the wonderful kind caring Kelly at the cigarette counter today .... you are amazing your customer care skills are so professional and natural ... I was treated really rudely by an employee there I think he was called David .. so rude and totally ignored me after I asked him over and over again he walked away .. I apologise I took my upset out on Kelly ... the manager was also very kind and thoughtful .. thank you again x
Big hug to you Kelly.

This store has a good selection of products, however, every time I go the store is not stocked, I understand that I always visit the store late in the evening but they should keep it well stocked at all times. The staff is not friendly

Today’s click and collect food shop wasn’t a good experience lots of my softer food items crushed by heavy bottles and tins ,so care needs to be taken when loaded on to carts. Some out of date items put in with my shop , lots of replacements were made which is just annoying for me and the staff member who has to do it! Extra attention and pride in your job is needed

Went there today. Two couples without masks plus one staff member on the self checkout who was within a foot from a customer giving help to them. Advised the Security staff who seemed to be disinterested and frightened of challenging those without a mask. Very few customers using hand gel. No wonder Woking Covid cases are rising

Find the store well stocked with plenty of trollies available ,sticking point is their Scan & Go should be renamed Scan & Stop I now find it faster to queue at the tills !! I would have gone back to Morrisons if it wasn't for a young asian lady called Rosey she is so helpful and can't do enough for you, she is an absolute credit to Asda
J. A.
Great shop always go there for my kid week shop

Good, clean store with plenty of stock and parking.

Doesnt make sense opening this store when there is another one down the road. The times I've been have been quiet.

My family and I went for breakfast for the first time this morning. Having had a few bad experiences at other stores (not Asda specifically) we kept our minds open and remained optimistic. Upon arrival the store was clean and well presented.
To the enterance of the cafe, the refrigerator was well stocked and had a wide range of drinks, sandwiches and wraps.
When viewing the menu we were shocked to find out that a 12 piece breackfast (served till 12noon!) for only £5! Travelling round to the till we were greeted and the lady took our orders.
After ordering we went to collect our cutlery from the stand, which included brown and white sugar, sweetener, malt vinegar, salt and pepper. However, condiments such as ketchup or mayonnaise were no where to be seen. We then made our way to the seating area and had chosen a booth.
Having only been sat for no longer than 10 minutes our food was delivered by a happy and welcoming lady.
At first glance the food looked amazing the only thing left now was to try it.
The sausages were not over cooked, the fried eggs were perfectly runny and not watery. The hash browns had been lightly fried and were not oily.
Overall, one of the best breakfasts we have had from a supermarket and can honestly say we shall be returning. Although it didn’t apply to our party, they have also provided a baby station where you can heat baby milk/food.
Friendly staff, good food and not over crowded.

It's a pain to find and the car park is half undercover and half in open air, entrance is via a travelator, the store is standard Asda layout quite large and quite a good selection of products available.
But keep an eye on the prices, they're not always as cheap as they could be.

By far the most attractive feature here is the sheltered parking, no rushing to put the shopping in the car if it's raining, the disabled access is flawed, typical of architect's with limited vision and poor consultations.
The disabled parking is good at first glances, But, if you need a mobility scooter you have to use the lift or travelator to get the key, then back down to get the scooter, back up in the lift and do your shopping, then back down to pack it into the car, park the scooter up and take the key back, and back down again to drive home, yes you can ask the staff for help, if you can find one, they are Very under staffed by nature of today's marketing struggles.
The manager was the only staff member free to help me, and only because I was raising the issues I found with the shelving and stock control, as I cut my wrist stretching over the top shelf to get an item that was pushed to the back, and similar stock access, as I have had to get on my hands and knees to get stuff pushed to the back of the bottom shelf, but it was nice of them to muck in as they say.
The other thing that only stand's out if you are going there as they are getting closer to closing time is they close the doors by the lift's, so you have to use the doors at the other end furthest from the lift's, by the travelators, although you can take trolleys on there, it can be dangerous for those who are not too steady, especially if they have a full/heavy trolley (not all disabled people do small shops), is when it moves from the travelator to the ground as it dismounts it needs a shunt to get it moving on, the time I encountered this it nearly threw me over it, at least that was the initial feeling, then it caught my ribs, so it can be a challenge.
Given the limitations they have to work under, they do what they can with the allocation of resources they get, but it's easy to not understand why that is, not until you work in such a place, so it's not a bad place to shop, But, it could be better if they had a bigger budget, the only other thing that surprised me was when I went to get some petrol, only to find they only do unleaded and diesel, but no premium fuels, I only found that out after queuing to get fuel, it would have been nice to have a sign so I didn't waste time waiting, but still a good place to shop for the most part.

Theres always parking available and not very crowded everytime I go there. The 2 annoying things for me is they play music loud enough to be a disco and the stock is sometimes limited.
L. B.
Really good.. specious and lots of great products. Downside que to the tills sometimes is ridiculous... Use quick self scan... is much easier. Just need to register in the store. Quick and easy.
J. S.
Friendly staff and all you'd need. I mean it's an Asda. Also good covered carpark which is always a bonus!

Omg I've just moved in to the area and ventured out for my weekly shop after looking at the review...how great is this store?!!!! It's CLEAN and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I live foot steps away from a Waitrose and the staff there are amazing but that's their ethos!! So was the staff and products of ASDA only kinder to my bank balance. Thank you. Keep it up you guys are awesome.
R. F.
Great store, plenty of parking and plenty of space to move around the store.
All staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Not a huge store but a decent selection of food and drink.
Many thanks, Ray.

You read all these reviews, see the ratings and you think "Wow, this Store & Cafe sound terrible." Well that is not true, people in this generation do not like being told they cannot have something or when something is not available and they decide to moan about it (Not even our fault most the time!!!!!) which I find ridiculous and untrue... I myself work in the ASDA Cafe and I believe we are a lovely bunch who try our utmost best for the customers. If we do not have the correct size take-away coffee cup, we will ask if you'd like it in the smaller one instead or a Fizzy Drink cup (Customers decision, not ours!!) So before you go around judging us for being bad, not having what you want, having things out of order JUST understand WE ARE HUMAN TOO we TRY OUR BEST to serve the customers in a loving, caring way and to give them the best shopping experience possible... If you have a problem with one of us then please just come and say so and we can resolve the situation like adults... Not 5 year old children in a Toy-Shop fighting over the last batman toy.... Just to clarify also, we ask if a customer is drinking in or taking away and if they say drinking in we will provide the correct cup unless the customer wishes otherwise and this is the same for take-away coffee.. Everything is customer based and if the customer wishes for it differently they can.. Do not use your choices as an excuse to say we messed up. It's not fair on anyone.
Nuff said. *Drops mic*

Prices are reasonable, friendly staff. It just appears that when the shop is quiet, the staff sit on the tills looking bored. And when there are many people doing their shopping, there are few tills open.

Been shopping here since it was built and the fitting rooms are the only things that bother me. The shop is a nice size and the staff are nice too.

Asda staff at Sheerwater are a fab bunch when we go for our weekly shop they are happy and hopeful.. But for yesterday we want to say a very special thank you to those who helped my fiancée yesterday with his emergency citation. Quick response and action taken. You were all so kind. Today when I went back to do our shopping again you kind words and asking how my partner was meant alot. Shows you care and were concerned. Hope your bosses read this and reward you well. The security chap, sorry I can't remember names.. Thank you and everyone else who helped.... I will see you next week. Lisa Dobson and Kevin Cheeseman

Most of the time I have good experience but some of their staff is rude. They need to teach them basic customer service skills and tell them how to be courteous and respectful with customer which they are lacking.
A. B.
Everything's well labelled and well laid out shopping Isles are very well signposted everything easy accessible usually has what I want good parking spaces for disabled as well as mother and children just an all round good experience
