Z. S.Fantastic, helpful staff who get to know customers. They do raffles and tombolas for the NSPCC and have supported local fundraisers and groups.
l.There magic bags that they do at the end of the day, where the fresh food on its sell by date is put into bags of over£10 in value, minimum,for less than a third of shelf price ! There is an awesome manager who actually cares about what people want to buy and the social economics of the area and price things accordingly. For the available floor space that they have, it is not utilized to its maximum potential but hopefully the new manager will deal with this, instead of having for sale for example 4 types of maple syrup all over £4 in price, when the store is located in one of the poorest areas in the city!
d. s.It's a local spar, nothing special you buy food and drink from there, although you do have to jostle around the drunks and local inbreds that frequent the stores
