my partner and I came to Waitrose tonight 30/11/21 and she was adamant they had some "adult" baby powder. I was certain there wasn't and having a wind up and sarcastically asked a member of staff called Jonathan I think, and he replied "yes I believe we do a Waitrose essential one" alas we could not find it despite his Lovely help. While walking off and paying for our food with a smug sense of satisfaction at being right along comes Jonathan who had traversed the whole store like an Xmas miracle with the exact product she was looking for. So I hate you for making me wrong but with staff as dutiful as pleasant as that willing to go above and beyond is just nice. nice one Waitrose good on ya Jonno..

Got most of the things I needed. Shop was busy as was the car park but no real queues. Used Quickcheck which as usual worked well and allowed for a rapid exit.

Best place for shopping. staff ready help with true kind. Why I’m telling this I used to work Tesco and co op there are less staff to much work still management looking for happy customer service no one can’t do because they tiered but here they are waiting for the customers and no delay beautiful place like artwork. You can save the time when you shop here lidle and Tesco may be little cheaper but we have to wait for the staff. Highly recommend safe place to shop.

Fantastic large store with ample parking, free for 2hrs, & a lovely cafe that makes delicious drinks & has a limited range of extremely appealing looking food. I went to the customer services desk, the tills after shopping to purchase my food & wine, then into the cafe, & everybody that served me gave me a genuine happy smile, therefore great place to be & for a Wednesday, everything I needed was in stock, also because the store is large, they had a great range of everything you could possibly need.

I want to say a big thank you to your absolutely top quality, thoughtful, kind and helpful staff / employees. The lady who helped me find easy and microwavable meals (for my very unwell, confused brother), then found me and bestowed a beautiful bunch of flowers, totally "blew me away" with her kindness. I am comforted and cheered up each time I look at them. The excellent setvice I received from your team member who went and located the extra special bottle of bubbly from deep in the stock room for me also deserves acknowledgement. Finally I want to mention the sweet lady, who enabled my hasty exit via the smart shop checkout, after I messed it up. I thank her for her help and patience which avoided my being embarrassed. Everyone is going above and beyond their job spec in that supermarket and I hope you all get to share the profits this Christmas. Thank you all so much. Merry Christmas to you all!

Low stock and missing items, but I believe all the supermarkets have the same problem. Normally Waitrose are excellent and the main supermarket for us.

I would like to give a positive shout out to Waitrose in Worthing, in these difficult times your store has excelled in customer care, from queuing, always hand sanitizer and a smile from the person telling us when to go in, only allowing so many at a time which gives plenty of distancing in the isles, to great produce, fish and meat counter is well stocked and very fresh, always cheerful staff serving. Choosing wine is a pleasant experience being acknowledged by the man who knows his wines and another smile. Then when my shop is done and arrive at the checkout to be greeted by cheerful people who always give me time so I don't feel rushed and always a little chat as I pack. I must also mention the man collecting and cleaning the trollies for our safety , he is doing a grand job and I always thank him. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Thank you one and all. This Waitrose is huge with ample of parking spaces. The layout is very simple, clean and tidy. You can find everything there but the price range is at the middle to middle/ upper. You can compare its quality with M&S, but with more or less the same price range with them. It is a pleasure to do shopping there.

Always five star service from the moment you arrive you are greeted by a very friendly security guard, all the produce is so fresh and at great prices, plenty of deals on at the moment, all staff very friendly, not that I should have favourites but the guy on the wines/spirits always recommends great wine and champagne and is always full of great chat 10/10 , thank you Waitrose and see you soon.

Superior booze emporium. Often very generous discounts off whiskeys and wine. Lovely selection of nosh. Parking can sometimes be an issue as others not using the store take the piss and clog the car park why the go elsewhere.

The three stars I have given reflects my opinion of the refurbishment. This has been my favourite shopping place for a number of years. Some things have improved but the cafe is definitely worse. A lot of the natural light has been blocked out affecting the ambience of the whole store. The cafe is now claustrophobic and there is a fight to get a seat by the window. I feel sorry for the staff who now have to work under oppressive lighting. Just now another customer complained of a headache and I realised I had one too. Maybe due to the boxed in nature of the place. A shame, this was a nice, open airy place to shop. The staff of course are still great, and the products on sale are the same.

Nice and tidy always. Self service tills quite good. All need to do right to be forgotten requests on the parking company managing the car park. Illegally, against GDPR, keeping number plates of cars that aren't being fined for 3 months. There is no legal reason they need to keep them for this long so under GDPR they need to remove them.

Not the best Waitrose on account of its location. When one is perusing for fine foods and delicacies, as well as essentials such as champagne and smoked salmon, it's rather frightening and confronting to come face to face with people that have clearly taken the wrong turn, well meaning to shop in Lidl across the road and ended up here. That said I tend to goto the Horsham branch more often as it has a John Lewis attached, praise the lord!

One of the best supermarkets around Worthing. Very friendly staff. Not normally as chaotic as lately because of mass panic buying on the part of selfish people.

Pretentious, wearisome and unaffordable are some of the charges Waitrose often has to defend itself from, and viewed from certain angles a shopping trip to one of their stores can seem like a Guardian Saturday supplement made flesh (Organic, hand-selected flesh by mindful retired gender-fluid Pilates gurus), but,even so, it would take a particularly jaundiced reviewer not to notice that the range of ingredients on sale, the pleasantness of the staff and the sheer selection of real quality of product is unmatched in any other British supermarket. At its best it feels like an expertly mixed cocktail of Selfridge's food hall, Marks and Spencers and the American 'Trader Joe's'. It can be expensive and I tend not to buy my normal basics from there as they are cheaper and more convenient at my local Tesco's which along with Lidl's (which I also love) makes up my food shopping trinity. I realise for many people going to three different shops seemd borderline crazy, but that why my Kitchen is filled with infinitely more fun and fascinating bits than yours. Finally, Waitrose is part of the John Lewis group and they seem to treat their staff like humans (I know!, Where's the profit in that?) And offer decent holiday, services and pay and profit sharing. That is the kind of wearisome pretentiousness that we need to see more of in modern Britain.
