*. R.Little gem of a place I get all fresh produce here and little treats- now has a few tables for food. Best Eggs Benedict in the whole of York and I’ve been to some good places. Reasonable cost for what you get and well worth it.
T. W.OK Quality was fine but if its Pork n Garlic at least put some Garlic in. Couldn't taste or smell any. And Steak n Wensleydale Put some Cheese in as well as the load of steak.
A. S.Really lovely greengrocer with nice fresh produce, always try and go here every week for our fruit and veg, and they have some lovely deli options and baked goods inside as well. Well worth a visit!

A.I would give a 5 star, however particularly in York there is no where to get fruit 24 hours, especially the healthy varieties such as: Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Tomatoes, Peppers, Chilli's, Gherkins, and Cucumbers. Meat and Bulbs are 24/7 which is one of the added causes of COVID 19 pandemic especially with meat and chip takeaways in and around the areas of York.
Good seasonal products and services, and could do with a delivery service.
E. A.Shhh! Keep this place a secret in case it gets too busy. The food here is amazing. The pies are better than the best of the butchers anywhere in York and further afield. I know, pies are my thing. Lovely pink roast beef. Such beautiful fresh fruit and veg. Do yourself a favour and try something you fancy from here......But remember DON'T TELL ANYONE!
M. G.This place has been superb in this lockdown. The freshness and quality have improved dramatically recently, probably due to the much higher turnover. Great selection, great prices and nice and fresh. Locality and opening times means you can pop in for what you need, rather than buying more to waste from a supermarket. I hope everyone continues to use these guys after this ends, we will.
C. H.Good selection of vegetables without plastic packaging. Very good pastries, cold meat and pate. Some nice preserves and locally sourced eggs, butter and other items.
D. J.Fresh fruit and veg is only the tip of the iceberg! They do pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, breads, salads and too many more delicious others to mention. Made in house with local ingredients. You can even order of Facebook, but we like to pop in and see what's cooking.
