S. G.I've always used Connie for alterations (hems, seams) and repairs (zip for lined winter coat). Her work is consistently excellent and ready to collect on the stated date. She will say if she can't do something but she's not being offensive, just stating a fact. She often makes me laugh when I go into her shop!
j.I took two pairs of my jeans to get my zips fixed - Connie is always sweet, funny and honest. A genuine hard-working lady - so glad I found a local affordable repair shop!
B. C.I took some trousers in to get the button put back on and she told me i was too fat, later i asked for some trousers to be taken up and she said i was too short. It's the way she is, very blunt but cheap and amazing work.
M.After reading reviews commenting about rudeness I was apprehensive about going to Connie's. However, she was so sweet and lovely, I honestly have no idea what these other reviews are talking about her being rude.
Anyway, I took 2 pairs of trousers to be shortened, both made from difficult materials and she did it in a week to a very professional standard. Exactly what I wanted and you would never know that I hadn't bought them like that!
