Absolutely brilliant Tailor. So kind and helpful and was able to turn around one of my items in just a day and a half. Both sets of trousers I bought in were valuable to me and he did a superb job on both. One pair were leather and after unsuccessfully having them fixed twice this was the only place I found that could do it properly. I am so grateful for the care that was taken with my clothes and I will absolutely be going back with any future alterations of repairs I need. Can't recommend enough!

I took in a double saxophone case to get the straps strengthened before they broke - they were on the way out and “a stitch in time” etc… A very unusual item to be fixed which was also very fiddly and hard to access. He came up with a great solution to add some extra fabric and not only fix but strengthen the straps. First class service. Great price. Highly recommend.

Motorcycle jacket arms shortened as I'm quite stout in physique. The CE pockets were adjusted to still fit in the arms and shoulders with the reduced length and excellent fitting done after a few weeks with the tailor. As others have commented he clearly takes great pride in his work and the skill shows. I fully recommend this business and reasonable rates, so will use again.

The owner is a real nice guy and takes great pride in his work. I wanted a leather jacket shortened and the fitting consultation assured me on how the finished garment would fit, look and feel. Hassan is incredible! I had a bit of an emergency, I needed this lovely vintage number that I bought (shown in the pic) tailored for an event the next day. I called Hassan and he said to bring it in the afternoon of. I came in around lunch time in a few hours, voila! I could go to the ball! He dropped everything he was doing and even stayed open later than he was planning to, to help me out. He's also a great guy! We had a lovely conversation while he was working and I got to see how he interacted with other customers, he's delightful to everyone that walks in. Now I have beautiful dress perfectly tailored to me. He expertly cinched it around the waist in line with the seems and also evened out the bottom so it wouldn't drag across the floor. There is no one coming close to the quality of Hassan's work. I have been Hassan's costumer for almost a decade now. Hassan is a great tailor with a real sense for fabrics and cuts. He is the only tailor I would bring my best cloths to to make alterations or repairs. Simple or complicated, he does it all well. He offers advice for what suits and what doesn't and I have come to rely on it. I have used tailors in Germany, the U.S., and Sweden, and no one has been as good as him. In Bristol I have seen and tried three or four tailors, and there is no one coming close to the quality of Hassan's work. He also without doubt offers value for money.

I needed my motorcycle leathers taken in after losing a considerable amount of weight and Hassan was recommended to me. I had several visits to his shop for measuring and each time was met by a conscious professional who clearly wanted to do a good job. Everything about my experience was fantastic. Hassan was working with another customer when I first walked in but began discussing the alteration I needed for my bridesmaid's dress as he worked. I could tell immediately I came to the right place as I watched him stitch the suit on the customer he was with. His work is of a very high standard. He also spend the time with me to ensure I was happy with all the adjustments he made. This was the first time I ever had a tailor move buttons while I waited to ensure the new location was perfect, and that was much appreciated. Hassan was also upfront with his costs and discussed the alterations to my dress that could be made within my budget. It was a great experience for me and I see no reason to even try going somewhere else.

Hassan told me he knew what he was doing with leather and that he was good at it - it was no hollow claim, he does and he is! He took the time to explain what he thought would work best on my leather motorcycle jeans with broken fastenings - hook & bar and press stud - both replaced with looped back Velcro flap that needed the addition of extra leather. I popped into Hassan's on the off chance he could advise me on a very badly fitting jacket. I live in Norfolk and friends and reviews on his skills and efficient way of working gave me the confidence he could appraise and undertake the work. I thought his quote was perhaps a little on the steep side but once I picked up my trousers and saw what an excellent job he had done I felt his service had been well worth the money. I went to Hassan with a pair of trousers that needed the pocket bag replacing on one side. He has done a very nice job of replacing both pocket bags, and I'm sure that they will outlast the rest of the trousers! While I did not check other shops to compare quotes, I felt the price to be on the high side. This is probably reflected by the quality of the work though - he has most certainly done a proper job. Overall I would recommend his services, especially if your garment to be worked upon is particularly special to you.

First off, Hassan was a really nice guy. Its too easy to loose half an hour at his shop whilst you watch him at work as he talks with you. I took some trousers to him to be heavily altered for my wedding suit, as they were a full size too big for me. When quoted, the price was more than i expected to pay, but to be fair i also didn't appreciate how much was involved for this kind of heavy surgery to the trouser. The end result was a trouser that felt and looked perfect, tailored to me. I could not get this fit or look off the shelf. He is a master tailor, and i highly recommend his work if you need quality tailoring done.

He has had this store for 10 years, learnt his trade in Iran and pours all that expertise into each of his projects. Hassan gives you a warm welcome as if you were an old friend. His attention to detail, his advice and the quality of work is superb, and he is my first choice for any necessary repairs or adjustments. Hassan has carried out 2 jobs for me. The first was a repair the collar to a new leather barbour jacket where due due to poor manufacturing the stitching fell apart, he unpicked and restitched the whole collar and you could not see the repair, the quality of his work is second to none. The second job was to adjust some suit trousers for a black tie function. His recommendations on the adjustment were spot on, and high quality workmanship resulted in some great fitting trousers. Hassan is very flexible but we the customer should also respect him in allowing plenty of time to discuss and mark out any adjustments, and then to allow sufficient time to get those adjutments made, after all he is a skilled tailor as such takes a pride in the quality of his work. Hassan is a mastercraftsman in his own right and cannot be recommended highly enough.

Just had the knees in a pair of motorbike leather trousers repaired. I was keen to get them repaired as they are good quality and very expensive to replace. Following an accident I damaged both knees on top of where the armour inserts sit. I agreed a price of £60, the leather to be used and how the repair would be done. The detailing and care that Hassan adopts towards work is second to none, a true master of his trade. I brought in an 'off the rack' suit to be altered, and within a matter of days i had a perfectly tailored and well crafted outfit. the sleeves were narrowed, the waste taken in and the trousers tapered to perfection, practically a whole new suit! I also required a pair of my suit trousers to be repaired due to a cigarette burn on the thigh area. i assumed the suit was a goner but Hassan worked his magic and its as good as new. A skilled and knowledgeable tailor who i will be using from here on out. If you're going to get clothes tailored, or altered get them done right, and Hassan is the one to do this. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Hassan highly enough. We went to get a dress shortened for my wife. We thought that all that was required was to cut some material off and then sew a hem. Since having moved from Gloucester road area down into Hotwells I found myself in need for a tailor, I was not familiar with Hassan previously as I had only requested minor repairs from a service on Gloucester Road. From first stepping into Hassan’s shop I was welcomed with a very warm greeting and made to feel like a valued customer. I made a request for large band patch to be attached to the back of my leather jacket. I had previously made same request to another tailor on Gloucester road for a different large band patch which was fitted in the shoulder blade area, I whished Hassan to fit another large patch below this. I noticed a significant difference in how Hassan approached this, he asked me for my input and feedback, where I wanted the patch to sit and even had me confirm I was happy with where it was before he permanently fixed it. During Hassan’s inspection of my Jacket he noticed the poor work which was carried out on my 1st patch located on the back of my jacket, he made me aware that the person who did this should not of sown directly through the jacket as the inner lining was also caught in the process and now unable to breath. Hassan took it upon himself to do a refurb of my jacket, re do the shoddy work and present me my jacket back better than ever, he even fixed the loop to hang the jacket up which had snapped a number of years ago. Overall if you are looking for someone who loves and knows his trade with a passion and enthusiasm then I couldn’t suggest anyone better, I will certainly be going back for any and all works to my clothes, Hassan has certainly set the mark high.

I went to Hassan's to see if he could mend a pair of suit trousers that had fallen victim to moth attack. One larger hole and one smaller hole where where the fabric had literally been eaten away. Hassan was very friendly and talked me through the options that I had for repairing the trousers. He was very up front about the fact that whatever was done it would still be a noticeable repair. He quoted me a very reasonable price for the repair so I told him to go ahead. Since I was free that day he kindly said he would get the repair done by the end of the day for me. Hassan wrote me a little ticket out and I figured I would just have to wait and see how the repairs turned out. When I picked up the trousers I was very impressed indeed. Despite Hassan telling me that the repair would be visible, for all intensive purposes what he seems to have done is what other places label "invisible repairs". Somehow he has effectively re-woven over the holes very neatly and left the trousers looking awesome. I am very impressed with Hassan's skills and service. I would certainly recommend him for any repairs. It's great to see that there are still skilled independent tailors about. Thank you Hassan and I will be returning for any other tailoring needs I may have.

Whilst my ship docked at the harbour side, I had a task to do To make my favourite pirate boots, again look just like new The lining at the top of them, was ragged and distressed But by the time Hassan was done with them, they looked their very best He used some lovely leather, from a old unwanted coat, (Tis a shame about the moo cow or perhaps it was a goat?) I took them in on Wednesday and less than one day later(s) I’m back on board my pirate ship, showing off my swanky gaiters! Yarr! Hassan be a smashin' chap, extra skilled, make no mistake!

I supplied Hassan with a mating zip tape from an Alpinestars leather jacket (jacket has a square-cut back, not a drop back) and left a pair of Road Skin titanite armoured jeans to attach it to. Not only did he do that, he split the waistband of the jeans, inserted 10cm of Lycra-type material (reducing to 4cm at the sides) re-stitched it so it looks like an upside down drop back of a leather jacket - no more draughty back and sufficient stretch to be comfortable off and on the bike. Masterful. No way is the the zip tape going to separate from the jeans, and the jacket gets worn more often. This was way back in June 2017. Why a five-month gap before this review? To test during the summer, of course. Not cheap, perfection isn't, but still a reasonable price for the work involved. Not only that, but he delivered the jeans to me in Frome as he was going to be nearby anyway. What service! Thanks Hassan.
