This is my second time working with Suz, as my first experience with her went so well! I absolutely loved my wedding dress, but felt it could do with the tiniest bit of taking in around my hips, to give a more fitted mermaid shape. This subtle change gave me the shaping I was hoping for, and massively upped my confidence whilst wearing the dress. Suz was patient, friendly, and quite honestly was an amazing calming presence during a super stressful time. I'll absolutely continue to keep working with her, and suggest you do too!

Brought 2 dresses to Suz which were cut so high in the neck they were too strangle-y to wear. She did a lovely job and they are now perfect. The finish is very professional and you can't tell at all from the outside that they have been changed. Very glad to finally be able to wear my dresses (and breathe at the same time!)

Great service from our first meeting, until the end! Sue was very relaxed, which made everything feel more calm. I had a simple dress which I wanted to be tailored to fit me to fit perfectly for my wedding day, and it was better than i could of dreamed of! Sue also created a dress for one of my bridesmaids, and did an outstanding job! Would highly recommend.

Sue did an amazing job restoring my daughters baby blanket. Knowing that my daughter wouldn’t sleep without it Sue got the blanket back to me really quickly and she paid great attention to detail to ensure it was repaired as it would have been. Right down to the way the lines were stitched and putting back the original label. It means a great deal to me and my daughter so I can’t thank Sue enough and would definitely recommend her services.

This small, independent one woman business is a great find. Suz was friendly and welcoming and made my daughter feel at ease when she was measuring her for her bridesmaid dress alterations. The alterations needed were complicated as the skirt of the dress contained lots of tiny pleats, but Suz completed all the alterations on time and my daughter’s dress fitted her perfectly. I’ve been to see Suz twice, once with a bridesmaid dress & a pair of mens trousers and another time with a jumpsuit. She has always been super friendly and so so so helpful. I cannot recommend her enough. All alterations were finished perfectly and quicker than expected!

Suz did a fantastic job with my wedding dress. It was a delicate dress with lots of lace layers and beading, but Suz did exactly as requested within a short amount of time. Suz is very skilled at her work, professional, a lovely person. Would recommend to anyone.

I was recommended SewSuz for my wedding dress alterations & im so glad I was! I took my bridesmaids with me to get their dresses altered also, between the 3 of us we needed a variety of things loosened, tightened, taken up etc & nothing was a problem for Suz. She pinned as all up got to work. In the meantime I sent the Groom, his best man, usher & my brother to her for their suit alterations again all needing a variety of things altering. When I returned to pick up my dress it was incredible, it fit like a glove & believe me, it didn’t before! You couldn’t see where any stitching had been done it was immaculate! Same with the bridesmaid dresses & all the suits. Everything fit exactly as planned & there were no threads out of place! I would 100% recommend SewSuz for anyone needing any kind of alterations!

I've used SewSuz many times and the service has always been great. The zip on my daughter's coat had broken making it unusable, we asked Sue to fix it and it looks brand new. I also bought reusable make up pads from Sue and they are adorable. They're also great for the planet ! I've washed them over and over and they're still looking great. Fantastic service and amazing skills.

Absolutely fantastic service, my bridesmaids dress needed ALOT of alterations due to me being 38 weeks pregnant, the maternity dress was a different style to the other bridesmaids, Suz did all the alterations to perfection and you wouldnt know it was originally a different style, Suz is professional and friendly and would highly recommend to anyone needed a good honest seamstress.
