Got married in November, black tie sorted myself and my groomsmen out for the big day! The suits were top class and the service was on par with that! The gentleman that helped us was fantastic from start to finish! - would recommend Black tie to anyone in need of a suit for an event or occasion! Jason and his team supplied us with 7 tweed suits (hired) for our wedding in September 2022. From the initial enquiry in May right through to collection everything was bang on. Jason and team did a outstanding job I was very nervous when I entered looking for a wedding suit he made me feel so comfortable and welcoming he went above and beyond when a family member needed a suit a week before the weeding he sorted it out and got them in no issues, truly outstanding service and extremely highly recommended.

I needed kitting out for a black tie event so went to The Black Tie. I was sorted out in under 20 minutes from top to toe, full black tie gear. Excellent service they seem to have an eye getting sizings spot on, and the quality of the suits are excellent. Highly recommend going here.

Fantastic place. Needed a last minute suit for a black tie dinner the same evening and I was in and out of this shop within 15 minutes with beautifully shined shoes, perfectly pressed shirts and everything else. It was also my first black tie event and he loaded me up with all I needed to know. Friendly and fast which will now be my first choice for suit rental. Great little Shop

I had to hire a tuxedo after leaving mine in London by accident so from the outset, I wasn't too pleased with having to hire a new one. Having said that however, the Black Tie in Coventry were outstanding - they, at very short notice, advised they had a tuxedo available for me and arranged for me to have a fitting and collect on the very same day. When I arrived, having spoke to Jason on the phone, I was surprised that he remembered my name from earlier in the day and he worked quickly (as I was in a rush) to get me sorted. I then had to travel back down to London and forgot to return my tuxedo after the event however the team were courteous and advised me that I could return the tuxedo the following Monday when I was next in Coventry at no extra cost. I don't often leave reviews, however I was truly impressed by how professional, polite and courteous this company was. I'd highly recommend anyone needing a tux or suit hire/purchase - the team really are outstanding. Thank you for saving my bacon at the 11th hour, and for doing it with a smile on your face - I rarely come across businesses that do customer service quite like I had at your business and clearly, reading your reviews, I'm not the only customer that gets this treatment! Well deserved 5 stars!

The duo that run this place are top notch. If you walk in shortly before closing time. It's no bother to them. You will still get top service. They get far bigger orders from businesses or rich folk who will place orders for 50+ suits, yet they will still treat you like royalty for your 1 suit that you need to don, for the "toff" do you have no choice but to attend in black tie formal wear. These guys are down to earth, friendly and truly professional. What they say, they do. I really worry for Coventry when they end up deciding to retire...seriously. Because nobody elsewhere comes close.
