Popped in for some advice about a tear in a dress. I am no seamstress but armed with some advice and the materials I needed, I was able to repair it myself. So kind and helpful. I will be using this place for any fixes that need an expert hand in future.

I had a great experience at Iona’s Dressmaking. Had my favourite pair of shorts perfectly altered at the waist and jeans shortened. Also brought my boyfriends vintage blazer along which was falling apart and it came out looking like new. We were both very happy with the results! Couldn’t recommend enough and will definitely be back!

I have a long coat where the zip wasn't closing correctly .. brought in where they very kindly sorted as it was an easy fix with pliers, if you knew how ! Didn't charge would use again and recommended Thank you !

Absolutely fab service. Amazing job repairing a very special and delicate shirt that has been in the family for over 30 years which had a huge rip in it. It is now concealed very cleverly. I also had length added to a skirt and she found the perfect pattern to match. Finally, I had a broken zip beautifully repaired to avoid a kids jacket having to go to landfill. All round a top service, highly recommend. Thank you so much!!

I had my curtains adapted from eyelet to track pleats - Ionas Dressmaking did a great job, really good price and turnaround time. Heavy fabric and pretty big curtains for bay windows - she did such a neat and fantastic job of it!
