Using their online system we selected my husband's outfit to suit the occasion. We then followed the video instructions on how to measure correctly. Arriving from Australia with only a day between arrival and wedding, we were really pleased that the kilt was ready for us and fitted perfectly. The staff were exceptional in their service. Good range of tartans and outfit styles to choose from if you are hiring, with some exclusive tartans to boot. If you are looking to buy then most things can be sourced, so whatever you're after they can help. Staff are really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. it's a great place to rent from and if it's your first time in a kilt you will get all the advice you need. Highly recommend

Good quality kilts and men's wear. Comparable prices with other kilt hire shops over Scotland. The service was great with the staff doing all they can to make sure that you are happy. Only problem with this shop is the parking. It took us about 20 minutes to find a space and to be in the shop for less than 5 minutes, and this was about 11am, so not even rush hour. Not to sure what the owners can do about this.

The staff were wonderful. I've hired from them twice! First time was prom and I was in crutches after an injury to my leg. They were more than willing to work around the obstruction during measurement and fitted me fine second time was another chance at a prom for my then girlfriend I came in, in a rush, for pickup and they were perfectly happy to speed things along. Couldn't fault them in the slightest. 10/10

After looking at a few other 'modern' Edinburgh kilt hire shops, we found McCalls to offer the best range, service & price for our wedding. We could not have been happier with the kilts and day jackets we hired.I bought an ex hire jacket which they were more than happy to alter & we also got additional sporrans, socks, flashes, shoes and ties for my grooms party. Trying to get measurements from my grooms party was a bit like herding cats but McCalls were very professional, friendly and relaxed: I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Kevin, Mark & Team

(Translated) We ordered a kilt for a wedding and the treatment was very good. We previously gave my partner's measurements and the day before the wedding we went for the suit. He tried it on beforehand and they told us how to put on the suit and all the accessories. The day after the wedding we took it, they checked that everything was correct and they gave us the socks. Very good treatment. (Original) Encargamos un kilt para una boda y el trato fue muy bueno. Dimos previamente las medidas de mi pareja y el día antes de la boda fuimos a por el traje. Previamente se lo probó y nos dijeron como se ponía el traje y todos los accesorios. Al día siguiente a la boda lo llevamos, comprobaron que todo estaba correcto y nos regalaron los calcetines. El trato muy bueno.
