My wife and I were visiting Edimburgh for our first time and we had an issue with her pants. The zipper of her pants got broken when we arrived at the city and she only had that pants.
We tried to call different repair services in the city and most of them would fix her zipper only many days later, but we were to stay there only for 4 days.
I called Stitch and Repair and talked to Martin explaning our situation. He offered to fix the zipper right away. One hour later my wife could wear her pants again and we could finally enjoy the city (BTW, she was stuck at the hotel).
If Martin wouldn't have done that, this would probably have ruined our trip. Martin was super flexible, friendly, and profissional. I totally recommend his services.

I spoke to a number of tailors across Edinburgh on the phone and found Marcin to be the most welcoming in seeking to understand my needs over a phone call. I looked at the reviews here and was satisfied with what other customers had said about Marcin's work and service.
When I went into see Marcin I found him to be very pleasant, honest and consultative. He gave me a clear indication of what he would do and the extent to which he could take in the waist of certain jeans and chinos. He also explained the difference between different materials to set my expectations.
The end result was excellent and I got exactly what I needed from Marcin. All of that at a very reasonable price as well. I would more than happy to recommend Marcin.
