Alter Girls very kindly altered my wedding dress at the last minute after another seamstress who had been recommended by the bridal shop made a mess of it. Carol was so lovely and did an absolutely amazing job, I can’t believe how she managed to save it and can’t thank her enough! Only needed altering once by her and it was perfect. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was recommended Alter Girls by the shop I bought my wedding dress from. The girls were really busy but managed to accommodate me. My dress needed a lot of alterations as it really didn’t fit me and it needed to be a tight fitting dress. My dress is perfect, and nothing was too much for Carol. She was really helpful. My dress had a lot of detail on it and this all had to be removed in order to alter my dress. I have no idea how the girls managed to do this and make my dress look so perfect. Carol is very welcoming and makes you feel as easy that your dress is in safe hands. I can’t thank Carol and the girls enough. I would 100% recommend. I am so excited for my day now I know my dress is perfect, thank you all so much!

I can't recommend Alter girls highly enough! I bought my wedding dress in 2019 but then had three postponements and a baby before our date actually arrived. Somehow Carol and her team of miracle workers managed to alter my outfit (a top and skirt) to fit despite me being two sizes bigger and the top being intricately cut and beaded. I am genuinely amazed that they were able to do it and so many people commented on my outfit. Thank you so much! :)

I cannot recommend enough! Top notch wedding dress alteration job along with making all the right suggestions for what was right for me try this and see what you think" type thing rather than pushing things on me! And to top it all off- practical advice for how to walk and do other things- made me feel far more confident in my massive dress than I did before I went to get it altered. You might struggle to get an appointment because it's so good but if you do you won't regret it!

The ladies at alter girls managed to squeeze me in for a wedding dress alteration emergency after another alterations shop done a terrible job of my wedding dress. They straightened the hem of my dress and cut it evenly the full way around, even the bit that was 2 and a half inches too long at one side. Not only that, but they pressed my dress for me which removed another stress. I would definitely recommend alterations at alter girls but don't be like me and book in with plenty of time as I was in such a panic.
