The most wonderful experience with these ladies. Would highly recommend this shop. They were able to make my beautiful dress fit like a glove and I have never felt so beautiful. The ladies really listened to my story and gave me time to wear my dress. They also let me wait for my mum who was running late to an appointment which was really special. The detail of my dress and how delicate it was they did an amazing job to not alter the beauty. I am amazed at how talented they are. Thank you so much for everything.

Karen Rotchford Bridal in Glasgow are absolutely fantastic! I had my wedding dress alterations done here and nothing was too much of an ask. My dress had to be let out a little and you would never have known, the workmanship is perfection. The staff are so friendly and helpful and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for future bridal alterations. In fact I’ve already booked myself in for an alteration for an upcoming wedding where I am a bridesmaid!

Karen did alterations for both my bridesmaid dress and my daughter’s flower girl dress. Both services were absolutely fantastic. She was so helpful over the phone, very flexible with timing and days, and had everything done timely and perfectly done. They were also so kind to my daughter and made her feel like a wee princess. Had good alterations service at Karen Rotchford for my wedding dress — the dress looked lovely — however a couple of things could have been better. The alterations I got were shortening the dress to my height and adding a bustle. The bustle was a simple small fabric hook to be hooked onto a reinforced button. Unfortunately the bustle did not hold up well on the night of the wedding, and would continually come undone after some vigorous dancing! We needed to bustle the dress multiple times as it kept coming undone. A small issue but a bit of a drag on the night. The second issue was partly on me — I gained some weight between my first and second alterations appointments. The dress still fit but was slightly tight in the back around the elastic. I was told to maintain my weight, but it would have been very helpful if they could have offered an adjustment to the dress to make it fit my body better or at least discussed this option (rather than me altering my body to fit the dress!) Also the way it was communicated didn’t make me feel beautiful in my final fitting which was a shame! It’s still a good place to get a dress altered but with those two issues, my experience could have been better.

Karen made my eldest daughters P7 Prom dress 10 years ago and the service and professionalism was amazing then. I recently took the same dress back to Karen to have it altered for my youngest daughter for her P7 Prom. I can honestly say the service and professionalism is just as amazing today as it was 10 years ago. Can't thank Karen, Jasmine and the rest of the staff enough for making my 11 year old feel just as special as her older sister.

Fantastic, professional and friendly service. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have alterations carried out, especially Bridal or special occasions wear, pay the girls at Karen Rotchford Bridal Alterations a visit. They turned my daughter's prom dress into her dream dress! Altering the gown from a bardot neckline to a strapless gown, lowered the back, took side seams in and lifted a very full fishtale hem with ease. Once finished the dress had been professionally steamed and looked like it had been bought that way.
