The staff is extremely friendly. I wanted to get my dress shortened but wasn’t sure about how much. The gentleman let me put on the dress and demonstrated the length with pins for me. Very patient and helpful. The result was wonderful as well!

As speedy as it's name. I got my jeans' zip replaced and two blouses altered in just 2 hours at an affordable price. They are also friendly. It is a CASH ONLY service to anyone looking their clothes altered.

I'm hugely grateful for Speedy Alterations who prevented a very stressful situation for me! I had my graduation in Glasgow, 5 minutes before leaving the house the strapping of my dress snapped. I googled where I could go to get it fixed and came straight here. I had 20 minutes until I needed to be at the university. They fixed it there and then in 5 minutes! I went to ask how much it cost and he insisted to not pay - amazing kindness especially in hard times like these! Thank you so much and definitely recommend this for any tailoring.

Just before lockdown Xmas 2020 I took in 2 pairs of Hessian type 90 drop curtains to get 9 inches taken off them and as always they can't do enough for you, he said if you want to go and get a coffee and come back in an hour and collect them...excellent service been using speedy alterations for 20 odd years, really very nice people 👍

Speedy do exactly what you want at a great price. I've tried other alterations establishment's and there is always an issue besides been dearer. Only used other places as they are closer, Speedy has always provided a first class job, I've learnt my lesson and I'll be travelling to Speedy no matter how many other alterations places I pass on the way there. Excellent service !

I genuinely never write reviews but really felt the need to after experiencing this service! I took two pairs of trousers to be taken up and although I thought they'd be quite difficult jobs, I was assured it wouldn't be a problem. The staff were lovely and friendly and although I came in late on a Thursday, I had perfectly completed trousers ready by 10am the next day! And for a really decent price as well. Honestly couldn't recommend them more :) thanks again!

Took two long coats to be altered, had been before, guy quoted me £36 which I thought great, came back 3 hours later, coats altered nicely then guy said it was only £30, tried to give him an extra fiver which he wouldn’t take 😳, had suits altered here, gem of a place and guy who runs it is decent, wouldn’t go anywhere else, if I could give six stars I would

After I'd managed to find it, it was great! Took pair of suit trousers in to be adjusted and it was easy and reasonably priced (£7.50). I wasn't in a rush, so didn't need them "speedy". Took 2 days. Biggest thing was finding the place cos the address on Google didn't help. They are on 1st floor of the Savoy centre, hidden away in the corner. Easiest way to describe it is if you come across the foot bridge from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, turn left straight away and they are in the corner. There's no changing room that I saw, so make sure you know exactly what you want altering and measurements etc. before you go.
