I visited Stitched-Up as i needed a quick alteration for a Bridesmaid Dress. Violet was most accommodating and reassured me that this alteration could be done as soon as possible. This helped me as it is to note that the wedding was only two days after i brought the dress in. The dress was altered, and it fitted perfectly. The price was more than reasonable and Violet had it done within two hours. Would recommend. Thank you stitched up, you saved me a lot of stress.

Went to stitched up to get my wedding dress altered with a bit of a tight time limit. Very good communication and accommodating, really good attention to detail. Sewed in the underskirt, altered the top and took length off the bottom which had very intricate lace detailing. Really good price considering the amount of work that went into it. Thankyou so much

Violet made my M&S suit look like it had come from Saville Row in July so I returned to her with a shirt I had bought, unbeknown to me, from China. It was at least 3” (75mm) too small in the chest and there was no return address or email so I took it and asked if it was possible to make it bigger. In less than a week she had inserted complimentary material into to sides and sleeves and now it fits perfectly. I cannot praise this lady highly enough. High quality work at an affordable price. 10/10.

Took my full length formal dress in after another tailor didn’t do a very good job. The tailoress did an amazing job of sorting out the problem with the zip. My dress was originally 1 size too big and now it fits like a dream! The service was excellent and extremely quick. Would definitely recommend and will be going back with other items, very happy!!

My wedding dress didn't fit perfectly before I went to stitched up and it had a zipped back which I wanted to change to a corset back. The seamstress at stitched up was very welcoming and extremely helpful and listened to eveything that I wanted and nothing was ever to much trouble and now my dress is perfect thanks to her. Stitched Up replaced the zip neatly and swiftly. My coat is now as good as new. These repairs saved me having to replace an expensive coat. Really impressed with quality of work and was surprised at how cheap it was. I got a tear on waxed jacket repaired, elbows repaired on two blazers and the body and sleeves of a denim jacket shortened.

The work she done to my wedding dress was amazing I couldn't have asked for a better person to do this for me she removed the sleeves and whole back of dress went out of her way to find the correct satin to match mine and turned the whole back in to the corset back that I wanted very pleasant and polite did the job with no hesitation would recommend to everyone and I wouldn't go to anyone else now to get anything altered this lady will now always be first protocol thank you for making the dress of my dreams
