Sometimes you are utterly stunned by the companies you use, Windsor Medal Mounting Services was that company for me I could not praise them more. As I am the wrong side of eighty I wanted to get mine and my fathers medals mounted for handing to my Great Grandson when I pop my clogs. I sent them off to them. All my phone calls to them were dealt with by Jayne herself, very efficient and friendly, you felt you had always known her. The medals I was amazed when I received them, beautifully mounted all with new ribbons and cleaned to perfection. I cannot praise this company enough. If you are wondering about sending your medals to a third party, then you can have full confidence them.

I went to get a set of seven medals to be mounted for a veteran in the British Legion and was not disappointed. It is a private address but you are welcomed in and they go above and beyond what you ask for in a very quick time. I would like to thank them as they made an aged veteran very happy who now shows his medals to everybody he can. Parking is outside the house and is not usually a problem. Great value for money.

I phoned and enquired about court mounting my mother's WW2 medals - she is 96 - as a surprise for VE Day. I posted them, despite not living too far away, and they were ready in a week. Three full-size medals and corresponding miniatures court mounted, with ribbons sewn to No1 dress jacket. Excellent service - very swift turnaround (less than a week in spite of remembrance Sunday being very close) good communication and very welcoming for direct drop off/collection. Standard of tailoring on No1 jacket is first rate. Medal mounting is neat, well executed and impressively sturdy with public duties in mind; a sign of the tailors experience and high standards. Very impressed - will use again.

Re Mounting of Chairman's medals. I telephoned requesting the remounting of our Chairman medals for his funeral. I collected the medals today and for the time restraints they have done a wonderful Job, the quality of workmanship and price is superb. I highly recommend this service.

I have had a RAF jacket with them, to have wrist braids fitted new buttons and the wings badge all supplied by myself. It has not been cheap exercise but it was a very quick turnaround. On opening to box I was suprised to see that the wings badge was not in line and at an angle. I did notify them, and the lady said that thay would refund me £5.00 as they did not charge for doing that badge, but charged for everything else? the lady said just take it to a sewing shop to have it put wright. I am so disappointed. They have now had the jacket back to correct their error and all is OK now and to my satisfaction. So I have increased the rating to four stars.
