Hi Rupert. I am genuinely sorry to read your review regarding a lack of communication from the FTA. During this time we did have staff off with Covid however I am not using that as an excuse. I want you to know that I am personally looking into this matter and I have contacted Compliance. We do have a learner formal compliant procedure and if compliance knew that there was a grievance I assure you we would not have ignored you. I am sorry that this delay with your portfolio but a dampener on your learning experience but I do hope that you enjoyed the course with us and you learnt a lot! The door is always open Rupert and you would be very much welcomed on our sites again both in Haringey and Islington, Leicester or Wales. Wishing you the best.

As a start-up with an innovative idea, we approached Fashion Enter and asked for their help about developing our idea into a successful product. Really great at working with a startup fashion brand - Lan is amazing at turning ideas and basic sketches into real designs. Great communication, quick responses and help with advising / sourcing certain trimmings, Amiyah and Angela always reply to emails straight away and will do what they can to help you achieve what you need if you have a last minute request. Any small mistakes made during production are always rectified and they work hard to be flexible to tight deadlines.

In response to Nailah Sanura regarding the Stitching course. The team at Fashion Enter are very professional and take all of their courses very seriously offering superb tuition. I am the editor of FashionCapital / Fashion Enter, I have worked with the company since 2002 and this is the first time I have ever read such a bad review. Over the years I have featured many individuals on the website that have completed the Stitching course that have gone on to work in industry or set up their own fashion label, all with highly positive comments on the course, the tutors and the FTA / factory environment. It has taken the team a great deal of time and effort to offer this high standard of tuition, which by the way is routinely reviewed and inspected, so of course we take this negative post very seriously. If you were so unhappy with the course you should have discussed this with your tutor so that the situation could have been resolved and everyone leaves happy. This would have been the most professional way to deal with the situation. Here is a recent review by Val: “By chance, I came across Fashion Enter and it now feels like the perfect environment and spiritual home for me! I cannot thank you enough or thank the tutors enough for such an amazing experience here and I'm very proud to have completed Levels 1 & 2 of my Industrial Sewing course. Fashion Enter has established in north London providing a fresh and local re-birth to the fashion and textiles industry in the UK. Not only they manufacture all their designs and sell them to local partners, they also provide unemployed people with a complete experience, new skills and qualifications to help them enter the work market. They offer qualifications from the level 1 up to level 4 apprenticeships, were people that have not been in employment for long periods of times and youngsters are able to gain a wealth of knowledge and skills to support the current re-growth of the fashion and textile industry. Their academy offers an excellent infrastructure with very current learning resources and with a live environment for learners to practice their new acquired skills. Fantastic!
