I'm an American college student from Southern California, and I ordered the Martin SLM Long. I fell in love with this duffel coat after I received it in the mail and pulled it on for the the first time and looked in the mirror. "It really was made just for me," I thought as the kid with this childlike giddiness stared back at me in the mirror. The attention to detail is wonderful -- the Union Jack patch on the inside pocket is a neat surprise, as are the words "London Tradition" engraved into the button, the shoulder pads, the gorgeous tartan pattern on the lining, the throat tab, the piping, the leather loops, the horn toggles attached to the leather loops -- great Scott, there's plenty more I can point out! Nearly everything about this coat is great, I would say! And while the lining's just a little itchy, I'd say it is simply how wool works, and it even adds to the charm of outerwear such as this. Thank you, London Tradition -- I really love this coat, and I am confident that it will last me a lifetime and live up to your commitment to not just uniqueness in English craftsmanship, but also quality, attention to detail, and overall genuineness.

Bye chance I ran into London tradition when searching for a duffle coat last year. It all started with a simple question through the contact form and ended up in a amazing fashion journey. Without ever been in London this amazing company delivered one of the best pieces if not the best in my wardrobe. The outcome was a unique Tailor made duffle coat in a fabric of my choice! I am from Germany and I was on holiday in London with my family. We went to the factory in Hackney Wick on Monday and I could try on a coat I liked very much and they made it specially for me till Friday in the colour I liked. The coat fittet perfectly and its my first coat ever with the arm length fitting. It looks great and I am very happy about it. Our little son also fall in love with a Douffle Coat and they managed to make one for him too till the end of our holiday.
