I found him very reasonably priced for the job, and I will return with other shoes. I have been hoping to find a cobbler/leather specialist who I could trust to do a good job for a while, and I am delighted to have found one in Pamir.

J.On 2 separate occasions I brought my shoes to another shoe shop just because it was close to where I work and they kept telling me there was nothing they could do for me. On both occasions I came back to Pamir shoe repair and he found a solution every time rather than the other repair shop telling me to throw my shoes away! Instead this man recognised that people can’t always afford to just chuck things away without trying to repair them. This man is friendly, professional and clearly cares a great deal about giving a great service and good workmanship. I will now come here EVERY time! My shoes look great thank you, great job.
A. R.I entrusted my beloved Bridge shoulder bag to this man - and he made an extraordinarily lovely job of it. He matched the original threads, and did the job by hand so that the existing holes were used. The bag looks as good as new. Hard to imagine, in this era of cheap novelty, that such tender craftsmanship still exists. Of course the language barrier is there, but be patient. You will be rewarded!
