After a disappointing experience with tailoring elsewhere I turned to Tom for my businesswear and never looked back. Working with Tom on my wardrobe has been a lovely experience over the years and has resulted in perfectly cut and immaculately tailored suits. The quality is simply supreme. I had initially never expected such an excellent end result when deciding on made-to-measure (truly bespoke being beyond my means) but half a dozen suits later I remain a loyal and very happy customer.

I've used various Tailors and outfitters who offer Made to Measure over the last 36 years. All the pervious places were a compromise between what I could afford and what I really wanted. Purchasing my suit from Redmayne was the first time I've worked directly with a tailor and Tom & Claire have made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. From the start they have been welcoming and when I discussed with Tom my desire to add something different to the jacket (a few pieces of embroidery) he was able to come up with suggestions for how it might be done and how best to integrate it into the jacket. With their expertise and care, I ended up with a suit that I felt comfortable in on my wedding day, whilst still feeling like myself. Redmayne 1860 was an outstanding pleasure to work. Since I am not planning a trip to England for quite some time and travel to the US has been restricted, I used their suit copying service. The whole process made sense and was well executed. I received my suit this week and tried it on and it is the best fitting suit I own. Better than the suit I sent to copy. Tom did a masterful job of adjusting what I sent and how it fit me with our discussion about what I wanted, to make a garment I will treasure for years to come. An incredible Redmayne suit experience to remember and proudly wear for a lifetime. I had the pleasure of first meeting Tom back in April for the initial measuring session for my classic two-piece. After receiving a tour around the building and sharing local stories, I decided to also go for the addition of a Waistcoat. Upon selecting a fabric, I had a Royal Blue suit in mind. Tom helped me decide on a beautiful blue fabric that matched what I'd been imagining. I then chose a contrasting blue/gold paisley lining which has certainly given the suit some character! When arriving at the second adjustment session and final collection, I also had the pleasure of meeting Claire, who has also been very helpful during the whole process keeping me informed in regards to the status of the suit. I’m delighted with the final outfit. The attention to detail is second to none. It’s unlike any other suit I’ve ever owned. Being local to the area makes it even more personal to me. Mr Mahon made me a bespoke Harris tweed coat when I wanted to celebrate my 50th ( I rejected the options of motorbike or ponytail). 13 years later I needed a suit and decided on the made to measure service now offered by Redmayne. The end result is beautiful. The service has been personal, very knowledgeable, and conducted seamlessly without any pressure whatsoever. Tom and Claire, and their team, are doing brilliant things at Redmayne and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting to explore the world of British tailoring.

I discovered Redmayne by chance, by watching Mr Mahon's videos on Youtube, which were very informative. I then decided to take advantage of their suit copying service to order a pair of trousers. The whole process was super clear and smooth, everything went perfectly, Mr. Mahon's advices were especially appreciated. For those who do not reside in the UK, Redmayne offers an excellent suit copying service. The process is easy and convenient. From a pre-existing suit from the client Redmayne makes a new suit in their housestyle: in my case the suit I have received has a perfect fit and a very high quality, well finished and with careful details. Mr and Ms. Mahon are very professional and attentive throughout the process. All this at a really good price.

An Amazing service! I had never had a made to measure suit before, but as I was looking for a suit for my wedding, I thought now was the time to try it! The Tailor took his time taking me through all the option aviable and went fair beyond the service I was expecting. Highly recommend this company and will be calling again when I need my next suit.

As I'm based in New York, I had contacted Redmayne's to meet during their annual trips to the US in 2020. I planned to discuss either a made-to-measure (MTM) or bespoke commission. When that turned out to be impossible due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent travel restrictions, they implemented a "suit copying" service. Redmayne's provided a pre-paid shipping label, I sent in my best fitting jacket, the measurements were copied and edited to improve fit and comfort. I consulted with head-cutter Tom Mahon on fabrics and some minor style edits to improve the fit of my sample coat. In received my jacket in about 6 weeks. The end result fits me perfectly. The jacket is very soft and feels more like a sweater. It's very typical of the softer "drape cut". While they offer a full bespoke service, the MTM is a lot faster to produce, requiring fewer fittings. While I wish I had done an in-person fitting, the suit copying service eliminates some of the guesswork and anxiety that comes from not having in-person fittings. In the past, I have had a few MTM garments from other vendors that were less than adequate. At £695, I don't believe there is a better value anywhere in the world where you get the experience of a world class Savile Row cutter, soft tailoring made in Europe, a full canvas construction, and a very good level of finish. I highly recommend Redmayne's to anyone looking for a very good MTM suit. I look forward to future MTM and bespoke commissions with Redmayne.
