This is a hidden treasure of a shop that has really helpful staff. I spoke with Chris on the phone about a specific machine I wanted, she said she would call me back after checking in the stock room. A few minutes later she called to say they had it (other stores I tried couldn’t even be bothered to check their stock). When we arrived, she had the machine ready for me and was terrific at advising me on the right threads and accessories. A lovely lady who makes you feel welcome. This was everything I wanted from my purchasing experience. A further update, as a complete beginner I had several questions about my new machine. I called and spoke with Sue, who was so helpful and friendly on the phone. She gave me lots of tips and advice. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I've bought two machines from the Maidstone store in the last five months. A janome 5060, lovely machine very easy to navigate. I also was lucky to purchase a Bernina l460 overlock, beautiful to work on its just so quiet and smooth Very easy to use, a little bit more pricey than other brands but we'll worth it. Sue who had the patience to sit with me on both machines is just lovely. She is so knowledgeable and nothing was to much trouble . Lovely company to buy from, delivery was quick and I was told any queries just pop in and see them. It's so refreshing to get such fantastic service.

Bought my new machine online during lockdown, after seeing it being used in a YouTube video demonstrating how to make facemasks and being extremely impressed by it. Having ordered over the weekend, at a very competitive price, received an email on the Monday afternoon to say my machine would be delivered later that day - which it was, but not by courier - personally by a gentleman from the Lewisham branch. A free carry bag was included. Excellent customer service.
