I needed to make some alterations to my wedding dress but I didn't know where to go. During my online search, I came across Laura's website (thankfully!) I loved that she is a small business and I couldn't be happier with the result! The dress looks lovely. The whole process was very pleasant and smooth, from the first booking to the last fitting. I'm not an expert, but I thought the price was very fair too. Laura is also a lovely person and I immediately felt at ease with her. The wedding is still two weeks away, but I can't wait to wear the dress already. Thanks Laura for your great work ❤️

Her skill is incomparable- from little suggestions of adding boning, adding little details to blend in the train through the many layers of lace when fastened made the dress absolutely perfect for the action packed wedding we ended up having. I can’t recommend Laura enough if you are looking for someone you can trust to alter your wedding dress. I was quite nervous about transforming my wedding dress into a summer dress, but Laura talked through what I wanted it to look like and immediately put me at ease. I came across Just Sew Perfect after a simple online search and seeing the business was 5 mins from me, it was perfect. But what a find, I really don't think you could go anywhere else and get a better service. Laura was incredible. I think with weddings it's really really important to have trusted suppliers and feel safe with the people helping. I couldn't have asked for more with Laura, she was calm, helpful, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in making things just right and getting it all to look perfect. It really felt like she cared a lot about my dress and my wedding, not just something on her to-do list. Her opinion and professional insight was invaluable. As a plus size bride, the dress and what I was going to look like on the day was a cause of real stress, and after spending way too much buying my dream dress but also a dress quite out of my comfort zone there were a lot of times I felt I had done the wrong thing. But in fittings with Laura she was just so good at calming these worries, while still being very honest. As there we're still a lot of covid restrictions, Laura was so efficient and worked in such a quick time frame. Laura did seem concerned towards the end that it was going to be expensive, however I just think this highlights what I have said about the level she seemed to care. The price was exactly as I'd expected. For the work that she did the price was so reasonable especially considering that many places will just whack up the price for anything wedding related. I would recommend Just Swe Perfect wholeheartedly to anyone and everyone. I will never go anywhere else for any alterations I need in the future. After receiving poor service from a very popular wedding dress alterations company in town, which had left me feeling very unsure and extremely nervous about my dress' alerations and final fit (and trying it on was a two people job), I stumbled accross Laura online and phoned her. Not only did she take my call, but she listened to my concerns and despite it being only a few weeks before my wedding, and being already ridiculously busy with bookings, Laura offered for me to come by with the dress and see if there was anything she could do to help. Although no further alterations were required in the end, Laura's expertise left me with no doubts, and her taking the time to explain my options was SO appreciated. When choosing my wedding dress, I felt like I had to compromise on certain elements. On my first fitting with Laura, she showed me my perfect dress was possible after all! I pointed out parts of the dress I didn’t love and she straight away, she suggested what could be done to change them. She reconstructed the entire neckline to create the perfect sweetheart shape I wanted, she shortened the hem to the perfect length and she altered the entire shape to make it feel like a custom made dress. Laura immediately put me at ease and is so clearly very talented at what she does. I had no doubt my dress was in safe hands. I cannot recommend Laura enough!

She did both of this and added a loop and button to the bottom so that I had the option to hold up the trail or button it for dancing. The dress now fits perfectly!
