Margaret is a very skilled and a lovely person. She altered my wedding dress exactly as requested and it now looks so much better than the original design. Posting on wife’s behalf: Cannot recommend Margaret enough. She is a true professional and complete master of a needle and thread! I took my wedding dress to Margaret and she fitted it to me perfectly- she listened to my other wedding stresses with care and compassion and make me feel at complete ease in her company. She also altered my sisters bridesmaid dress with ease! From this I have then taken any bridesmaid dresses I’ve had to her and she has always worked her magic to make them fit beautifully. We have also used Margaret’s services for alterations to coats and trousers-there is nothing she can’t do! Finally not only a fantastic tailor/seamstress she is also wonderful person! Margaret is an amazing seamstress and tailor. She has been altering wedding dresses for us at Once in a Lifetime bridalwear for 11 years and has worked many many miracles! She is meticulous and we always know, if its physically possible to alter, then Margaret will do it. She can take a dress to pieces and make it back up in a different size and you wouldnt know it had been altered!! She can also make patterns for boleros, add sleeves to a dress and change the style of a top or neckline. 100% recommended. If Margaret says she can do it, she will do it to perfection!
