Very friendly staff , very helpful .I took my jacket in to get the cuffs altered, (I explained what I wanted etc, the staff were great and helpful) it was originally to be completed by next week (Feb), but they text me like a day later to say it was ready to collect! Now thats fast !! On collecting it ,the lady on the reception was again very helpful & polite and the work done on my jacket was excellent, so I was happy with that . I fully recommend that if you need any alterations done, go in and speak to the staff who are always more than happy to help .Thanks ZipYard.

I took my pair of uniform to Zip Yard for alterations and I am very happy with the result. Not only is the workmanship commendable but their professional values are outstanding. I was told it would normally take a week and a day to collect but I needed my uniform quite urgently due to short notice and the staff very kindly accommodated me and was told it would be ready in 2 days time. Surprisingly, it was ready for collection the next day! I am so grateful and overly impressed. 🙏❤️ I heard about Zip Yard from my friends and it was my first time to acquire their services. Overall, I am quite happy with my experience with Zip Yard. Excellent service!

Excellent service shortening curtains. Previously mended a jacket zip. Girl on desk and who rang me up was so kind and helpful. The seamstresses were able to suggest a repair which actually saved me money. But they kept me in the loop by phone for both jobs and both were beautifully done.

Great personal touch. Took two pairs of trousers to shorten length. I was asked if I wanted to put them on for pinning up but I declined as I had pinned them up myself. After collection I found one pair perfect in length but the other slightly long as I must have made an error. Took the pair back to The Zip Yard. Joanna pinned it up for me and shortened it at no extra charge. Superb service.

I have used them and plenty of other alteration services in the UK and in my opinion this specif branch in unreasonably expensive. They quoted £18 for tapering my chinos from below the knee (their work is fine but is significantly overpriced). The same job was done by Professional Tailors at 52 Bridge St for just £10. Sleeve shortening of blazer/suit jacket was also cheaper there. P.S. I've used Zipyard Glasgow ad rated them 5 star (no bias) because of their exceptional service and reasonable pricing!

I'd purchased two patches and a cloak for Halloween, and explained how and where the patches needed attaching. The price and work where excellent, and the staff were professional and friendly. On my second visit, I had a patch stitched to a button up shirt, and a repair job on a pair of trousers. Perfect work on each visit. Thanks! Recommended!

Bought a lovely jacket which was a little on the large side. Heard about the Zipyard...Had my jacket back in 2 days...sleeves shortened and jacket taken in. It looks great and very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the seamstresses. Very reasonable prices. They were very friendly and helpful in the shop. Would recommend....got jeans to take up...definitely going back.

Brilliant service , I had a problem with my Biker jacket as the zip was playing up and after a positive phonecall reassuring me that they could fix it I called in . The lady on reception couldnt be more helpful and told me the zip was not broken but the slider had opened up slightly, so after an adjustment with her pliers , my zip was as good as new and with No charge . I would highly recommend this shop and its services to everyone

For a place that's advertised as "for clothes alterations and repairs", to not be able to remove vinyl/badges from fabric material...that's a bit odd.
