G. H.I approached Alison a month before my wedding and 7 months pregnant. She managed to make my now tiny dress fit my bump and to completely restructure the bodice of the dress in a really short time span. I’d recommend Alison to anyone in need of wedding dress alterations as not only is she very talented, she is very lovely too.
B. E.Back in the 1970s I made myself a skirt that was immediately a firm favourite - navy and white batik fabric with a deep dropped waist. I loved it and waxed lyrical to my daughter about it the other week who secretly went off, found some material online and contacted Alison and asked her to recreate it ...which she did! My new batik skirt is fabulous and I am thrilled with it - beautifully made, meticulously stitched and an absolute pleasure to wear nearly 60 years later!
J. H.After my granda passed, we found an old coat of his at the back of a wardrobe. I immediately fell in love with it, however, it was too big. Alison got her hands on it and worked miracles. She altered the shoulders to fit, the body to fit and the sleeve length. The perfect job on a coat which I will treasure for all my days. Thanks, Alison. You are a true craftswoman.
