E. C.Another wedding, another fantastic outfit provided by the professionals at A Formal Affair. The owner Keith, is the man you need if you want to turn your special day into a fantastic one. I was just a guest but thanks to Keith I felt a pretty as the bride.
Seriously though, I could not recommend A Formal Affair more, I only wish there were 6 stars to give them. I will definitely be returning, I just need an invitation to somewhere first.
(Or not. If you're into crashing weddings then Keith has got the suit for you...perhaps one with lots of pockets)
K. B.I hired 6 suits for my wedding in 2022 but booked them in 2021. We then had to move it to 2023 and Keith was very understanding. He's always been a pleasure to deal with and provides a great service, can totally recommend!! The suits were much better quality that ones I've I had to wear at other weddings hired from other places.

B. F.If I could rate this shop and the service 6 stars I would. We hired a beautiful suit from A Formal Affair for a wedding and we were so impressed. The staff were so attentive to my son and made sure the suit was perfect for him. We collected the suit but had to swap the waistcoat which was done on the spot, no fuss, no delay.
I won't be hiring from anywhere else but here going forward.

C.I just wanted to give the company 'A FORMAL AFFAIR' a mention here. My situation was that I needed to go to a family wedding and I had serious doubts about the whole thing, especially in the wardrobe department. I approached Keith who is the person in charge at this company. This guy actually made me look elegant in a Traditional Tail jacket and pin striped trousers. I just thought I looked dam smart by my standards. The thing that makes this place really good for me is that the suits are of a really decent quality. It seemed like its a case of you dont leave the shop until you absolutely look the part.

R. C.In February I looked on Google for wedding suit shops near me and found A Formal Affair. I phoned about hiring a suit for my stepdaughter's wedding and actually got an appointment that same day for a fitting. When I got there, a very friendly and approachable gentleman called Keith greeted me when I walked in.
Keith was down to the ground friendly and a gentleman you could have a laugh or joke with. He measured me up and within about 30 minutes I was walking out with an agreed quality suit to collect closer to the wedding day.
As the wedding was the end of April, I unfortunately managed to put on some weight and my suit was a bit tight when I took it home to try on and show my wife. I phoned Keith to explain the problem and I got invited back the next day to get a better fitting suit.
Keith was brilliant and I was happy with my better fitting quality suit within minutes. Keith's prices are also definitely affordable to the point that I would not go anywhere else to hire a suit Thank you Keith.

The post-lockdown wedding rush meant that all the well known national suit hire chains (Yes, you Moss Bros. Among others) were out of stock. It obviously hadn’t occurred to them that people might start having weddings again afterwards. They made no useful suggestions as to how I could get hold of a morning suit, other than suggest I buy one of theirs for over £1,000, but I’d have to wait as they didn’t have them in stock.
I found A Formal Affair with 2 weeks to go and they were brilliant. Beautifully cut, seemingly brand new suits, shirts, waistcoats and ties. A wedding in a bag!
The shop wasn’t even open when I rang but Keith offered to measure me up as soon As I could get there. An hour later, I walked out with everything I needed. The bonus was meeting Keith. As well being extremely competent and efficient, he’s also a thoroughly decent human being and bloody good company!

Two days!! Two short days, is all I gave 'A Formal Affair' to organise me a Full Kilt, and guess what? They didn't fail to deliver.
I was measured up at short notice on a day the shop was closed and was even able to make collection out of hours, all thanks to Keith, and the slick, professional operation he is running.

Due to a rapidly growing 12 year old we had to return trousers as they no longer fitted. New ones were ready very quickly. Stunning outfits and the Groom and groomsmen looked amazing!
