Amazing alterations and service for our wedding. The bridal team had their dresses altered to fit well and so did some of the groomsmen. As the groom My tuxedo was also altered to fit well and everyone looked amazing. Everything was done so quickly and efficiently, Thank you!

What an amazing find this place is! Such professionalism from the staff, and you can see the pride they take in their work from the quality you get. My future husband got his suit tailored to perfection, and we got 11 pocket squares and matching ties (with custom lengths!) for all the groomsmen. I couldn't have asked for a better and more efficient service. If I ever need anything tailored/made/fixed in the future, this is going to be my go-to place.

I am amazed at the craftsmanship and skills to repair a few items I took into the shop today. The repair to my custom made pillowcase is as new and the zip completely fixed. I also had an item that needed specialist modification, even needed designing and this was made beyond my expectations, absolutely blown away at what these gents can do, took the time to understand the customer's needs and provided a fast express service and the price was very reasonable given the work required. The service here was amazing! They were so lovely and welcoming. I went in because I had a tear in my Nike leggings and wanted a personal stitching design on one of my jumpers, nothing was too much for them and they certainly went beyond what I was expecting. Been using golden needle for around 3 years and never fails to deliver a 5* star service. I’ve had suits dresses trousers etc altered from here and no matter how big the job is or complicated he has completed everything to perfection even staying late when I need last minute alterations. Without a doubt the best place to get all your clothes altered, I rang golden needle up after reading their reviews and took my leather jacket and trousers to be altered, saw a gentleman called Jud and from start to finish the service I received was just 5 star ⭐️. These guys are absolute lifesavers, they’ve carried out multiple repairs for me on my Canada Goose, Stone Island and Moncler jackets. Some of the jackets I thought I’d never wear again due to the location of where the repairs were needed. Can’t even tell these jackets have had repairs done. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Jad at Golden Needle is my 'go to' tailor for all repairs. Repairing zips on cycling gear, outdoor gear, jackets. Buttons on trousers and shirts. Alterations or repairs on damaged fabrics, they can do it all. Reduce, reuse, recycle!!!

Genuine and lovely people. I really needed some alterations doing very fast (another company made a mistake) and Golden Needle were very happy to work past closing time to ensure it was ready for my event. On top of this he gave general advice about the rest of the suit and recommended other ways the suits could fit better (in a none pushy way). Defo the best tailor in Preston. I had to buy my wedding blazer, trousers and waistcoat all in diifferent sizes due to lack of stock and Golden Needle made all the alteration and made it looked perfect. Golden Needle is a professional and friendly tailoring service that I have used on a number of occasions. They are quick and give a good quality service, l had a long fur coat shortened, curtains shortened a waist taken in and an outdoor cushion repaired which saved me over £100. They are very fairly priced and Jed is very famous for his charity work for the NHS throughout the Covid pandemic. A definite 5 star business.

I don’t usually do reviews, however my service was exceptional. I was recommended to go here to get my nursing uniform tailored last minute. The owner was extremely helpful & polite, I also felt incredibly comfortable around him. He attentively listened to my queries & stated that hel be able to tailor my uniform in an efficient time frame. The next day upon collection, we agreed for only one of my uniform to be tailored (I went Friday and needed it before Monday, however he was closed Sunday & we agreed to collect the others after Monday), nonetheless to my surprise he has tailored them all the next day. He explained to me that he has absolute respect for the NHS especially during the pandemic where he also assisted the NHS with masks. Therefore he decided to attend to my uniform immediately. I cannot thank him enough, it was an absolute pleasure meeting him and receiving his service. 5/5 service. I will definitely be using his service again :)

Jad was recommended to me by a staff member at Moss Bros. I needed a formal shirt altering.....not just standard shortening of arms, but also tapering of the body and sleeves. I needed it urgently. Jad delivered. The quality was great, and the service super friendly. Jad told me about his origins in Syria and how he came to the UK with his family. I was happy with his work and took a further 4 shirts to him for the same alterations. Highly recommended.
