I contacted Dawn and her team to alter my daughters wedding dress. The reviews were good so I was feeling quite positive when we visited for our first fitting. OMG what a fabulous business. So professional and welcoming. Naj is a very personable experienced seamstress and Debbie is the administrator everyone would want. Well done Dawn and Team you really made Emma’s day very special. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I purchased a dress for my son's wedding from a mother of the bride shop, where their in house seamstress assured me the alterations could be made. Unfortunately after 4 visits the dress still did not fit me as it should, it was clearly too big ! But I was told it's fine the way it was. When I got home I noticed beads falling off and numerous pulls in the fabric, by now I'm distraught and have lost all confidence in taking it back again. The wedding is now in 2 weeks time , to say I'm upset doesn't come close. When I rang Dawn she was so good in reassuring me something could be done. I really hoped she could work her magic, which she did in just afew days to prevent me from further worry, which I really appreciated. Thanks to Dawn my dress now fits as it should and I'm looking forward to wearing it. Dawn is an amazing lady and fully deserves 5 stars, without a doubt I highly recommend Seams So Special Thank you again Dawn x

Dawn did lots of amazing alterations to my wedding dress, including removing a layer I didn't like, adding in a corset, adjusting the shape of the neckline amongst all the standard fittings and alterations. I was blown away with the quality of the work, she made my dress perfect for me. Dawn is also extremely lovely which is great for feeling comfortable having the adjustments done whilst wearing the dress. I have and will recommend Seams Sew Special many time over :D

Dawn is one amazing lady. So lovely; very caring, professional and always mindful of making the whole exprerience so special for the bride. She carried out the alterations to my wedding dress for my December 2018 wedding. I'd actually bought the dress after losing about 5 stone; but went on to lose another four and a half stone which meant my dress needed a vast amount of altering. Dawn did an amazing job and i felt amazing on my wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble - i really can't thank her enough. She also carried out the alterations to the bridesmaids dresses and has since altered other items for me. Thank you Dawn. Worthy of all 5 stars.

Dawn is so lovely and welcoming, friendly and really put us ease and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. Seams so special transformed my wedding dress from beautiful to absolutely amazing! She nipped in every little part that needed it, ensured the straps were tight enough for me to feel secure and added a beautiful diamanté belt. I had spoken to other seamstresses but they were at least £200 more expensive. The whole experience was fantastic and I felt really comfortable getting dressed/undressed in front of her. She’s an expert in her field and I personally will only recommend her to people.

I’ve used this company for some years now to alter clothing of all types . Everything I’ve asked to be done is always excellent with no delays . I especially like things to be done when they are promised and this is the case here . No problems arising from late delivery etc . Last year I left a very delicate dress to be altered so that I could feel better wearing it. The stitching cannot be seen and I’m very happy with the results . Good value for money too .
