I have been going to Altered Image for nearly 20years! Elaine is the most incredible seamstress I have ever had the pleasure to meet. There is nothing Elaine can’t do with fabric. She has altered for me evening gowns, taken up lined trousers, shortened jeans, jacket sleeves lengthened, completely remade many a dress from the shoulders, bust and waist to make it fit perfectly. She has even put pockets into dresses for me - amazing. Knowing Elaine has transformed my wardrobe over decades. You could not meet a nice lady with magical hands.I thoroughly recommend for all jobs big and small. Every wedding dress, vintage top or item much loved is safe with Elaine. She is amazing!

Elaine was amazing I had my flower girl dress altered and my wedding dress and it was done very quickly and at a very good price I also got my bridesmaid dresses altered here to one of my bridesmaid dresses was slightly to small and there was a bit of upset with one of my bridesmaids but Elaine sorted it and it didn’t look any different to the rest of the dresses truly amazing work and an amazing job and I can not thank you enough!
