This was my first tattoo and honestly I could not possibly be happier about the result. Martin is a very charming and patient artists who answered all my questions before and during the tattoo process. I felt comfortable the entire time and knew that I was in good hands. Martin included all my wishes into the design and made an awesome dragon which perfectly reflected what I had imagined. I am very satisfied with the result and will most definitely come back for more.

Great studio, friendly and helpful. Great advice and great artists. I've had a number of sessions with Martin and he makes it as relaxing and easy as he possibly can. (I'm not the easiest to tattoo) Designs are brilliant, I've 2 cover ups completed by Martin, perfectly covered up, no trace of my rubbish tattoos. Highly recommend. Already planning dates a number of sessions for next year.

I’ve had a full sleeve and a few other tattoos done by Martin and one done by his daughter Nicole, all of them are perfect. Both artists put their heart and soul into their work, their passion for what they do is clear to see. Amazing family, really genuinely lovely people who look after their clients so well. Martine is always floating about to make sure everyone is ok and to make sure the studio is running smoothly. You will never feel more at home and more welcome anywhere else than you would at The Human Canvas and you will never leave disappointed with your artwork.

I always leave The Human Canvas counting down the days until my next visit/tattoo. Martin and Nicole take the time to listen to you, making sure they understand what you want and what each piece means to you as an individual. They have a great attention to detail, along with the artistic flare and ability to satisfy anyone. The staff provide a friendly, relaxed and clean environment in which the artists keep their clients relaxed and at ease. This is one of the few places I would trust and encourage the artist to design a bespoke piece and leave happy and proud of the outcome.

Human Canvas is a great tattoo studio. Family owned and lovely people. I’ve had 2 tattoos so far. Both times I gave Martin the idea and he came up with great tattoos. Martin is a great artist so this makes him a great tattooist. I need to get back soon.

This guy is phenomenal, has covered up some serious poor tattoos Iv got as a young lad. Not just with big dark tattoos but incredible ideas and used parts of the previous tattoo to add to the design. I tell him after each session that’s me done for a while but....... 2 full sleeves, full chest covered and knee to ankle sleeve later and I still can’t get enough. Lol Great guy and a close knit family business with his daughter Nicole producing some amazing work also. Can’t speak highly enough of the shop and the people involved with it 💪🏻

I found the quality of the artwork and the standard of service at Human Canvas to be outstanding. Marty was fantastic at helping me explain the piece I had in my head and his final tattoo turned out much better than I had ever hoped. This was my first tattoo at 47 and my experience with Marty, Martine and Nicole have really made me enjoy the creative process of getting a concept realised. Now the latest addition to the, shop is their daughter and if she's anything like her da she to will be amazing. Can't wait to go back.
