Where do I start? I booked in for my first ever tattoo with Shannon at Chapters after finding them on social media, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They made me feel so comfortable and communicated with me throughout the whole prepping, tattooing and aftercare process. The tattoo itself is incredible and it's exactly what I was looking for. The studio is very clean and has a lovely overall atmosphere, from the members of staff down to the actual decor and facilities. Expect to see me again in the next few months😂. Thank you so much.

Definitely one of the best tattoo studios in Birmingham. I have had 25+ hours of tattoo work here and each time I've been blown away not only by the quality of the work, but by the friendliness and professionalism of the entire team. This place has a brilliant range of tattoo artists each with a unique style and design. It also has a piercing studio and although I haven't had any piercings there myself, friends of mine who have, said beside it being super clean, they go the extra mile to make sure you're comfortable and to fully explain aftercare with advice and tips. 100% recommend to any person willing to get tattooed an amazing piece of art or to get a clean piercing.

I've been getting tattooed by shan one of the junior artists for a while now and along side the incredible tattoos she gives me every time the atmosphere is lovely the moment you walk in, every artist in the studio makes you feel comfortable makes sure there's nothing you need, it's a lovely place to be overall and you get to watch movies whilst getting tattooed so that's even better. Everyone makes you feel really welcome. Also the cleanest studio I've been to out of many so that's a bonus!

A great studio, making the most of one of Birmingham's old historic buildings. The staff are welcoming and there is an overall, chilled atmosphere. I have been tattooed several times by Jamie, usually full day sittings and often travelling a 3 1/2hr journey from Kent. His range of tattoo style and designs are fantastic and 100% worth a visit wherever you are based.

Chapters is an incredible studio with a team of wonderfully talented artists. The building itself is beautifully decorated and has fantastic facilities. I have been to the studio twice now, once for a full day tattoo sitting with Jamie Lee and a second time to attend his artists seminar. During both trips I felt very welcome and found it very easy to talk to Jamie and Emma. I am absolutely thrilled with my tattoo which healed fantastically and feel like I learned a lot at the seminar which he hosted. I'd highly recommended this studio to anyone!

The studio itself is stunning, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, I’ve never felt so comfortable in a tattoo studio! Got a tattoo done by Shan and they made me feel so comfortable, and I can’t believe the quality of their work considering they’re a junior artist. Cannot recommend them or the studio enough!

I was so nervous prior to my appointment, however as soon as I walked into the studio my nerves disappeared! The studio is lovely, clean and modern. Everyone was really friendly. I had booked a full day sitting with Lou Bragg who was also lovely, nothing was to much trouble. The tvs and cups of tea are certainly a nice touch while your having your tattoo done, I was totally distracted all day by the films the artists put on. This was my first ever big piece and I loved the experience, I will definitely be going back, all of the artists are so experienced and talented. I will be recommending Chapters studio to everyone! Travelled from Portsmouth to have a session with Jamie Knott. Absolutely fantastic session. Jamie is super professional and absolutely an expert at his craft. The studio itself is clean and vibrant and has a general wholesome vibe to it. The other artists and clients were all friendly and interested in everyone’s work and the banter was top notch. I was tattood here last year by Jamie. One of the best tattoo studios going, a keen eye for detail and every amenity that you could want when you're there for a full day. Fully stocked kitchen, including fruit bowl. Well equipped bathroom facilities. Comfortable, clean environment. Friendly, proffessional staff and a nice environment to get a tattoo.

Visited chapters a few weeks ago to get some more beauty’s done by the amazing Shannon, once again they didn’t fail to amaze and do an absolutely unreal job! Every single tattoo is done with the most care and always turns out absolutely beautiful the tattoos aswell as the service can not be knocked one bit! Shan never fails to make you feel comfortable welcome and at ease it’s so good to know you’re In good hands and comfortable when sat for a few hours getting some skin ticklers! Can not recommend shannon enough. The studio itself is absolutely unreal too such a nice welcoming friendly place and is absolutely spotless! Cant recommend the whole overall environment enough! I have large ongoing pieces & visit the studio on average around every 3 weeks, getting tattooed by Alix. Alix’s art is beautiful, she has an incredible attention to detail, designs every piece to perfection to suit me and my body shape, has great knowledge & experience of tattooing, she is also very considerate of pain levels. Every visit, we have good conversations; which makes the experience even better. Every time I have visited the studio it is tidy, clean & spacious. There’s always films/ programmes on the TV’s, I’m always offered drinks & snacks. There is a large comfortable waiting area & a large dining table for lunch breaks. All the artists are welcoming, friendly & inclusive. They all use good quality products & equipment. It’s always good vibes as they have made such an effort to make the studio a comfortable place. I’d highly recommended getting tattooed/ pierced at Chapters! 🖤

I got tattooed by Shan (Cxrpser) late last year. Honestly had nothing but professional, wholesome conversation the whole time, definitely didn’t feel like it was my first time at the studio the atmosphere was as if I was in there once a week at least. Amazing outcome, and was so so happy with the piece I had done! 111110% recommend them as an artist, they listened to everything I wanted and had such a sick input throughout.

I travelled to see Jamie Lee from Preston in the North West, a 2.5 hour drive, and it was well worth the trip - a great artist is worth travelling for. The studio is easy to reach from anywhere in the country seeing as it's in the Midlands, and the place itself was immaculately clean, they've done an outstanding job of renovating this beautiful listed building. Jamie Lee is one of the best artists of his kind, hence my trip, and the tattoo that I left with is outstanding - I mean, it's seriously good and I'm proud to wear his art! Thanks so much for an awesome day guys, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in your epic studio!

Been there twice now and will definitely be going again. Only been with one artist (cxspser, Shannon) but they were lovely and their work is amazing. Was a very professional and clean work space with nice decor but comftabke and relaxed vibe. The artists are all very nice and always happy to help with any inquiries and worries I might have. Was fortunate to jump in on a cancellation with Jamie Lee Knott. Had a fantastic day at Chapters. Was greeted by a friendly face and made to feel at ease. The studio is well kept, clean and very relaxed. Jamie is one of the best in his field. Totally recommend him and Chapters tattoo studio to anyone. All the in house artists were very nice and they made the ambience super mellow, just whats needed for a an awesome day. Even the location and nearby parking were easy to navigate and drive to which took the stress away from a long drive from Wiltshire. Absolutely stunning tattoo studio in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter. It’s really easy to access if you go by train! All of the artists are extremely talented and professional, as well as Emma the piercer! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to pierce me! It’s a really warm and welcoming place with a positive energy. Very professional and the studio was very clean. Emma went through the right aftercare, told me what to do with it and what not to do with my piercing. So far I’ve had my conch piercing for 3 months and I’ve not had one problem with it at all. So I highly recommend.
